They sent me a bill for a subscription we did not sign or agree with. They said we owe a $74 dollars. Within 14 days or they are going to put a negative mark on my credit. We never received a bill from them. Never knew we were on their list. Until we received a bill and threat today in the mail on 4/2/2008. We didn't agree or sign up for anything. I think how they got our address is we went to the fair a while back. And the salesman was kind of pushy. I confirmed not interested. So he gave us our free DVD and we were on our way. We left thought that was it. And than received the information found out that was not all. Please do what you can to help us. The payoff balance is $517 dollars. Which we do not owe because we did not sign anything. We filed a complaint with the better business bureau and you.

All "subscription" sales are secured by contract and merchandise is shipped per the terms of that particular contract. Copies of all contracts are scanned into our computer system and it would be a simple matter to verify if a customer did or did not sign a contract. If a customer feels that a contract was not signed he or she could call us for copies of the documents verifying the debt.
If a customer received a statement for a past due balance, that means merchandise was shipped and not paid. The credit department will make courtesy calls and send reminders of the non payment.
Negative remarks are not entered on a custoemrs credit report until after the account is in the arrears for a period of 60 to 90 days. During that time a customer would have received 12 courtesy calls and 6 letters to call the office. Certainly enough time to bring the matter to a conclusion.
If Dewayne 56j will call us we will make every effort to verify the sale and or resolve the issue.
