Living Scriptures won't cancel my order without charging me a $300 cancellation fee. They also explained I would forfeit receiving any more material. This is not what the saleman explained. He said I could cancel anytime.

This product attempts to teach good values, yet The Living Scriptures, Inc clearly makes its money deceiving their customers. If they thought they had a great product, then they would sell it like normal businesses do, and back it up with guarantees.

Beware of the Living Scriptures Company. Living Scriptures does not tell the whole truth about the way they sell their product.

Do not buy from them.

I'm disgusted and dismayed.

The contract which was entered into carries a "liquidated" damage clause which is standard in most contracts. The clause simply states that if a customer wishes to "break" the contract they may do so by paying a fee. This fee helps to offset the expenses that Living Scriptuires incurred in the way of commission to the independant sales agent, cost of the bonus product shipped to the customer, royalty fees, investor fees, etc.

Living Scriptures makes every effort to keep our customers happy, if they experience a finacial problem, we will try to assist them by placing the account on hold for a period of time, or rewriting the contract for less merchandise, or slowing the shipping cycle to allow fewer monthly shipments.

Yes the product teaches good values, especially when thought is given to the alternative entertainment being shown on television or at the movie houses.

We do not decieve our customers, the contract they enter into is quite clear as to the committment they ae making, the product they are purchasing, the price they are paying, and the bonus product they will receive. IT couldn't be clearer.

The method Living Scriptures sells product is door to door, in malls, at special events, etc. The venue of the sale has no bearing on the clarity of the contract. Living Scriptures offes a 90 day warrantee on all product sold. THere are provisions to replace merchandise damaged in shipment on a no cost basis, Product damaged by the customer can be repalced on a half price basis,

If this customer will call we will make every effort possible to assist him.
