I feel very ripped-off. This company seems like it does not care about its distributors. The best product in the company "bios life slim" has recently illegally been made available through amazon.com. Now amazon and the illegally operating distributors seem to be working together.

There is no way a law abiding distributor can compete with the low prices offered through amazon. I would never recommend Unicity International as business to anyone - beware. As the manufacturer, the company still benefits from the distribution of "their" product, and amazon in connection with rogue distributors seems to be enjoying the benefits of offering the flagship product at throat cut prices.

The rip-off is that the manufacturer who says the product is "their" proprietary brand, and exclusive to "their" distributors, has seemingly done nothing to protect its distributors for this inappropriate behavior. Then again, they are "moving" their product. They have not given any indication they are suing, or requesting an injunction in court, or whatever they can do to force amazon to stop shipping its "proprietary" products. Now, I am not an attorney, but my point is - DO SOMETHING.

What is crazy is that when you look at the companies (distributors) which are in breach of their agreement for putting it on amazon.com they way they have, at the price they have, it says that "amazon.com" if fulfilling the shipment and handling the customer service. And yet nothing seems to get done to protect the distributors. Everyday it seems like more cut throat pricing is being offered. Maybe if Unicity Lost all its sales like we did in one day, then they might feel the pain too.

So beware. Your better off looking for a company that is going to take your business (distributorship) serious, and not smile in your face while the illegitimate competition is having a field day and free for all at cut throat pricing at your expense. After all, we understand that the Unicity is still making profit whether a distributor sells the product, or amazon.com.

This company is NOT recommended to pour your life savings into for a distributorship. Beware and go elsewhere - its a total rip-off at this point. Not only is the #1 selling product be exploited to the benefit of Unicity and Amazon.com, but so is the #2 selling product bios life matcha. Big companies profit while the distributors are being ripped-off.

Unicity International

AUTHOR: Scammed - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 17, 2014

Obviously the problem has not been resolved as there are still numerous unicity products being sold on-line.  The reason Unicity International hasn't resolved the issue is because they DON'T WANT TO as it is in their best interest (i.e. it's good for their bank account).  I have stopped selling Unicity altogether as I was unable to compete in the marketplace.

If they wanted to solve the problem they would have done what I did.  I actually went on amazon and bought one of the products from their deadbeat sellers and now I have their name and address, paypal account name, and their phone number.  If I can do that in my spare time I'm sure that Unicity International with its large number of employees would do the same if they wanted to.

Thanks for reading.

Unicity is awesome

AUTHOR: LJ Business Professional - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 02, 2013

Hi,

I am a franchise owner and Unicity is awesome- they have great customer support and service and the only reason it may have cost you that much to join is because you joined as a manager or did a program that cost you 3 months of product upfront- all of which you got a rebate- so saved money :)

The only reason people on ebay and amazon sold the products for cheap is because Unicity had a contest where people could win products and they were selling them- - Unicity doesn't allow that because distibutors are who run the business.

Owning a business costs money and time --Unicity offers their quality supplements to be sold and you can own your own business :-) On average- if you have your own supplement biz- -not Unicity but your own, expect to invest $30000 upfront- -Unicity allows u to run your business for next to nothing- and offers training and support.

It's awesome if you ask me- contact me on Facebook at

www.facebook.com/GetSlimandMore

and I will tell you more about the company, and help you succeed!

Warmest Regards.

LJ

Why Unicity cares about this problem and what we are doing about it

AUTHOR: PJ - ()

POSTED: Friday, March 29, 2013

I work at Unicity and appreciate this opportunity to share with you why we care deeply about this issue and what we are doing to try and resolve it.

First of all, I can assure you that we are just as concerned as you are about the sale of our products online for below-market prices.   Because we only sell to our distributors, it's no exaggeration to say that they are the life-blood of our company, and anything that is a problem for them is just as big a problem for us.  We take great pride in the quality of our products, which we make every effort to ensure are based on the best science; but without our distributors, the products we create would not be able to help anyone.

So while I can understand how someone might at first assume we benefit from any sale of our product online (even at below-market prices), if you think about the costs to us of the potential damage this could do to our relationships with our distributors, and how important they are to our continued success, it makes more sense that the benefit we might get from a very limited number of online sales (and if you search sites like eBay and Amazon you will see that compared to our competitors there are actually comparatively few opportunities to buy our products there) is not remotely worth the potential risk of hurting our relationships with our distributors, who account for virtually all of our sales.

Second, regarding what we are doing to try and resolve this issue, our contracts with our distributors explicitly forbid product sales through websites like eBay and Amazon, and we have staff that monitor and alert us when this happens.  The problem we have run into in some cases is in identifying who these sellers are, due to online privacy rules motivated by these websites' interest in selling as much as possible without interference from companies like us.  Nevertheless, we are constantly trying to think of new and better ways to stop these sales from happening, and are currently exploring every possible action, legal and otherwise, that might do this.

If you have any ideas about this or would like to discuss this further, we would love to hear from you directly.  Along with the products we have committed so much of our resources to develop to be the best available on the market, our distributors are our most valuable asset, so we are committed to doing all we can to support them.  Thank you for caring.

Unicity has obligation to distributors

AUTHOR: maxima - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 16, 2013

Why are you upset with me? You should be upset with those who undercut other distributors. Get them, not me. Obviously they get their supplies from Unicity, where else. How does an "undercutter" make money selling the commodities at the same price that other distributors get items from Unicity. Unicity has an obligation to protect distributors who paid $1,500 to sign up plus $200/month to run the business.

Q1 - How does a company like Erika's able to sell products at half the price? I would not like to think

that those items are fake. I would not like to think either that Unicity sells the items to Erika's at a much lower price than other distributors which will promote unfair competition. I would appreciate an explanation on this please. It's just mindboggling how this can happen.

Q2 - How difficult is it for Unicity to monitor Amazon and prevent companies to do this undercutting practice?  Can someone provide a logical explanation on this please?

NO - i don't have too much time in my hands and it is not my intention to badger Unicity. On the contrary, I'd like Unicity to do good business by doing the right thing. Unicity just has to be more vigilant and accountable to their distributors. My family shelled out hard earned money to invest in this Unicity business. I don't want him to fail or dash his hope to do something good for himself. The products are good but it will be awful to sell these items to friends at a price that's essentially double the internet price.

Don't you have anything else to do than badger companies of who's lacking what to protect their distributors???
What company does not do what Unicity did?
It obviously shows how much time you have on your hands compared to companies like Unicity who actually work hard that keep their customers happy.

Does Unicity really monitor Amazon/internet?

AUTHOR: maxima - (United States of America)

On Jan. 23, 2013, Successful_mentor cited that Amazon, Craig's List, Ebay...are strictly prohibited...membership is immediately revoked...

I've seen listing at the Amazon for a very long time. Today, February 16, 2013, "Erika's Health Store" through Amazon sells Slim G @ $65, etc. free shipping, etc.

Unicity has the obligation to ensure that their distributors are well supported/protected.

Thank you.
