A group associated with Pure Investor is making false promises in its advertising. The ads say that you are guaranteed 5 downline members recruited for you in one month. This did not happen. In fact, nothing happened. When I contacted the CEO of the company, he offered to buy my way into another group that was fulfilling their promises. This never happened either. He also claimed he had removed the parties that were scamming people. A couple hours later I got an email from the scammers saying to change the wording in our ads per the CEO. One company that I have found to actually do what they are promising is IWS. Their addess is www.beam.to/intern I hope this saves you some time and trouble.

PIPS Not A Rip-off
AUTHOR: Julie - (U.S.A.)

I have been watching PIPS and reading their forum on their website www.pips.pureinvestor.com for several months now, since my brother-in-law invested. Yes, it does sound suspicious but is legitimate. I will be investing in the program myself. The company does not guarantee profit as PIPS is an investment. Like all investments there is risk of losing your money. The program works on compounding interest (2% per day) and there is absolutely no recruiting necessary. Your money grows at the same rate whether you refer someone or not. There are many companies that claim to be involved with PureInvestor that ARE scams. That's why it would be an intelligent decision to deal only with PIPS website and PureInvestor directly. According to the information I have seen the company is planning to go public in the next 18 months or so in the Asian market. I am not normally the "investor" type but am willing to take a $450 risk. This is the first negative comment I have seen about this company.

There is serious error in the posting they say - quote "A group associated with Pure Investor is making false promises in its advertising." but the web address given IS PureInvestor, and NOT the group supposedly associated with it. This serious misleading as PureInvestor DOES NOT use MLM and does not rely on anybody to market anything.
And as for this quote "One company that I have found to actually do what they are promising is IWS. Their addess is www.beam.to/intern I hope this saves you some time and trouble."
That web address does not exist. I would seriously question the authenticity of this report.
If you publish this I would prefer my Christian Name to be changed, I don't like any of my names published - thank you for your time.

PIPS-PureInvestor is not MLM

Greetings,
Having found this site while doing some research, I felt some clarification was needed regarding PIPS-PureInvestor.com
First, when this offer was made whereby the one complaint was logged, this offer was being done by other than Pure Investor, it was a group who were promoting the get five deal, and yes, I agree, it was not administered properly.
The reason why the referral system was revampled by corporate was because of this outside entity misrepresenting facts about the business. Now there is no MLM, and this old 2002 complaint means nothing as it had nothing to do with the company or policies.
Simply put, no matter how muct due diligence you perform on http://PIPS-PureInvestor.com you will not find any complaints on company. Sure, as with this one complaint, it was caused by a member group, and they no longer exist, so company responded responsibly as they should have done.
Regards,

Out of Touch or Out of Date? PIPS/PureInvestor
AUTHOR: Jack - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, October 19, 2004
When I first looked into PIPS/PureInvestor, I checked the BBB Online and Google for negative responses. Do you have any idea how many pages I had to go through to find this ONE negative response from two years ago, compared to literally thousands of current positive ones?
I joined PIPS/PureInvestor three weeks ago. There is no downline recruiting required. I have a net increase in my account of 21 percent as of yesterday (it pays two percent per trading day less management/reinvestment fees). It's automatically self-sufficient once you've deposited $450 into your account--you never have to pay one more dime, but you continue to be able to withdraw the interest (apparently about $500 per month after six months). If you deposit more and/or leave it in the account to reinvest longer, it grows more. One example on the website is that a $1000 deposit will pay $13,000 per month after one year of accruing interest.
After reading everything on the website except the very extensive site forum, I decided that $450 was only worth so much due diligence--it takes me a day and a half to make that much in my regular job, and the day after I joined, the commodities market I was trading in opened with an immediate $450 profit per contract.
Ben, if you join PIPS/PureInvestor and list me as your sponsor (sponsor code XXXXX), and you lose money in the program (I don't see how that's possible, but I'll assume it is), I will personally refund your $450 investment. The URL is http://pips.pureinvestor.com.

Sounds suspicious
AUTHOR: TheFraudChick - ()

Ben,
You have to pay your way in to a downline? That sounds suspiciously like "frontloading." Stay away from pyramid schemes. If the "CEO" is directing folks to change the wording on web pages then the whole "MLM" is probably riding the fence.
I'd walk away.
