Unbelievable ... I'm SUPER vigilant about scams ... and the bastards got me today!!!

Three guys in a minivan approached me as I left my car in the Port Coquitlam Costco. "Myles" an Englishman with an official "installer's" ID badge said that he and his buddies has scooped an extra Kirsch K3 Home Theatre system, but had to dump it quickly for cash before getting to their next job. It sounded phoney, and I should have walked away, but they showed me some d**n magazine that advertised the system for $2,495. They flashed a wad of bills from a previous customer that allegedly paid them half price $1,250 for the system. I said I wasn't interested. He pressed. I gave in and came up with $560. Man, I feel like a complete fool.

However, thanks to information I found at that enabled me to contact Andrew Radford of Common Wealth Distributors in North Vancouver, I was able to get my money back the very next day.
