I answered a Dish Network promotional advertisement. I was supposed to get 3 months of service for $19.99, plus a refundable activation fee of $49.99 that was to be credited to my 1st month's bill.

After 1 week of service, I received a bill for $75.35 for 2 months of service. There was no credit of $49.99, plus there were fees added that I didn't ask for.

I immediately called Dish Network which shuffled me around to about 5 different people. I was finally able to get to an account service person (Annette) who offered to take some charges off the bill, but for a one-time only. I cancelled service.

Several days later, there was an unauthorized charge on a different credit card for $153.34.

on the add, if there is none then I would take all of the paper work that you recieved to a local lawyer and let them look at it, it may be a case of false adds. The bad thing is that it will probably be very hard for you to get your money back, the problem with these dish companies is that they will let anyone sell their service and they even have infromercials on tv tring to get people with no experience to sell their service for their home based bussiness, And it seems like more than 50% of the time people get ripped off. Personally I wouldn't buy anything that has been offered to sell as a home based bussiness, but hope you can find some good out of the situation and get your money back.
