I remember apllying for the position on a Sunday and on Monday I received a call for an interview on Tuesday. The company name is Niko-Laos Inc, located in Hollywood, FL. To my surprise when I went for my initial interview I saw about 10 people getting interviewed and it was a fast in and out. I was told that if I was selected I would get a second interview for observation to see if the company and I were a match.

When I went home I tried to look up Niko-Laos Inc and did not find anything, so I thought it was a legit company. I went to the second interview the day of Observation and I was given a third interview that is where I met the owner Ed Sardinha, and was offered the job. The owner offer me the job quickly and rushed me out, and told me to submit my resignation letter from my current job in order to hold my spot.

I later called to inquire about benefits, i spoke to the Assistant Manager and was told not to worry that they have great benefits and Health Care.On my first day of employment I found out the cruel reality that there are no paid vacations, you get paid $6.15 and hour or the commission. As to Health Insurance once you are employed 60 days the owner will give you the phone number to the Broker, right there I said to myself Red Flag, this is going to be expensive, I addressed the concern and was told but you are going to have COBRA from your old job, right there i realized that the owner did not care about me besides getting someone that will sell for him.

I started working M-F 9:00 - 7:30 but will leave the office until 8:00 p.m. If i did not make more than $55.00 that day than i felt like it was a waste of time and energy. As for the other postings everything is so true. I keep searching and found out the cruel reality and so i decided to resign. The customers are deceived and lied to, if you talk to much aboout the product customers don't buy so you try to omit crucial info.

I feel that i could not continue working for an employer that does not care about me, just about assuming the sale and the owner becoming rich because of my hard effort. I just had a really bad experience and i wish i would have found out about this before quitting my real job.
