My story is nearly identical to the previous posts. My credit is pretty scary - after my husband left two years ago I managed to get behind in some payments and then filed bankruptcy - but it's slowly improving now. My car died and I needed a new one fast. I was going to look for an older car to last until I had better credit scores and more money to put down, but I intrigued by the whole "Take over payment network" scheme. I applied online, and immediately got a response that I was approved (being something of a geek I checked the html code for the webpage and discovered that it's setup to give EVERYONE that 'approved' message).

The next day I received an email, plus calls to my home and work numbers to come in and pick out a car. I came here and read the previous posts regarding this dealership, but decided to call them anyway. I was very specific with the girl I spoke to: "Are you sure that with my credit, no co-signor, no trade-in, and only $500 to put down, you can approve me for financing?"

"100% positive" she said.

So I drove 45 minutes to get there, and before even showing me any cars they started inspecting my credit application, kept leaving me at the desk so I could sit and watch the other employees goof off and swear, until finally they came back and said I needed a co-signor. I plainly said I didn't have one - and I had to say it about 15 times before it finally got through to them. The saleswoman tried every tactic in the book, including trying to shoot down my self-esteem and make me feel bad about my credit. I smiled and told her I have no problem buying an older car for a couple grand and driving it until I'm in better shape to get a new one. And then I left for my 45 minute drive home.

What a bunch of scammers.
