I received an email from yourmusic.com with an offer of all cd 5.99, free shipping, 14,000 cd's access, I access the website, and with no problem fill out the registration form gave all my information name, address, password, user ID and credit card information for billing purposes.

I then enter all my personal information, received a welcome confirmation from yourmusic.com that I was new subscriber and was instructed to start shopping, I then click on the hyperlink back to the website, which took me back into my account, which I found out that the cd I was getting information was now in my "music quene" at that point I try to edit my "music quene" to remove this cd and was unable to access my account. The website continue to tell me to please enable cookies.

I was unable to send a email at there customer service email site, I fill out the required information telling them to cancel my account due to technical problem, when I hit submit it stated that the website I was trying to access was either missing, out-of-date or unavailable to click reset or try again later.

I try that for three hours trying access my account and trying to email with no success. I then try to access this website account at a friend house on their computer the following day and receive the same response to please enable cookies and was still unable to submit an email to cancel my account, because the email address was missing, out-of-date or unavailable, later on that evening I try again with the same results. My computer setting have never been changed or alter since I had my computer and I never had any problem with a website requesting to enable cookies(first time ever).

Right now I am in a position where I have to closed my bank account that I provided the credit card information for because I don't know if this website it legit or not but I do know that I don't feel comfortable about them having the personal information the was giving to them. I feel like I have been ripoff due to the fact there is no phone number to speak to a live person to explain these problems to and get help (only a customer services email site where you cannot submit your complain due to more technical problems) and all my personal information was giving out, plus the cd that was place in my account unauthorized and that this website was working find until all my personal information was provided then I could not get access back into my account to edit or cancel the account.

I trusted this site because it stated in the email that was send to me and also on the homepage of the website that it was a operating unit of BMG Direct, Inc. which I have done business with BMG music with no problem in the past.

Total RIPOFF!!

AUTHOR: C - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 21, 2006

I also had the same experience to the person above. But this time it was worse. I can't even find an email for customer support. I want to cancel my membership and emailed them so I don't get charged. I then enter all my personal information, received a welcome confirmation from yourmusic.com that I was new subscriber and was instructed to start shopping, I then click on the hyperlink back to the website. Than it won't let me enter. I've never had a problem w/ other websites opening. The website continue to tell me to please enable cookies. I changed me computer setting and still nothing. So I tried opening the email at the library. The MAIN website SEEMED to work, although I haven't purchased anything because it's a complete ripoff!!!!! ( I mean who in the world would spend more $ when the site doesn't even have customer service. That's just asking for it.) well the website seems to work fine BUT WHEN I TRY TO GO TO CONTACT US THE PAGE DOESN'T WORK. I CAN'T EVEN EMAIL THEM TO CANCEL.

It looks like they're up to old tricks again. The computer just goes to the website I was trying to access was either missing, out-of-date or unavailable to click reset or try again later. I was unable to send a email at there customer service email site, I fill out the required information telling them to cancel my account due to technical problem, when I hit submit it stated that the website I was trying to access was either missing, out-of-date or unavailable to click reset or try again later. I'm still trying to work something out. I hate leaving feedback like this, but you gota do what you gota do

How to contact YourMusic.com the company's name is BMG Direct, Inc.

AUTHOR: Tracy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 07, 2005

Listen up everyone that has experience problems at YourMusic.com website. First the company's name is BMG Direct, Inc. and the business telephone number is (212) 930-4000. When you call, be sure to ask for the Administrative Office for BMG Direct. Hear me clearly ask for the Administrative Office for BMG Direct.

The operator will transfer you to the BMG Direct office. Once you reach someone with BMG Direct and explain your problem; be sure to let them know if the problem is not resolved immediately you will contact the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General's Office for your state and the Attorney General's Office for the state in which the company is located, the Federal Trade Commission, and Consumer Affairs.

BMG do not need the bad press over $5.99. Anytime a company is trying to rip you off, keep in mind these agencies.

Sincerely,
A person fighting for the little man
