Lisse Winicki sublet my Santa Monica apartment for 1 month. I received her check on moving day, gave her the keys and after a week, the check was returned for insufficient funds. When I contacted her, she gave a detailed explanation about fund transfers and money exchange from France. She contiunally updated the transfer dates and continued to explain the situtation. After 24 days, I was able to get her to vacate the premises.
Once I began to investigate her background- I discovered there were other similar siutations and that other landlords had judgements against her. One landlord was awarded $22,000 also in Santa Monica.
She seems to be active in the Santa Monica area. She presents herself as professional and educated. I want to warn others before it happens again.

I met Lise Winicki in buddhist circles, where she presents herself as a businesswoman who also practices budddhism. It took me two years to find out that she was a con-artist who not only scammed me, but also various people amongst our buddhist community.She scammed me through different false allegations and now owes me up to 24 000 US$. I have a signed confession of Lise Winicki concerning her scamming me. It was signed in front of four witnesses, including lawyer Kathleen Pratt, last November 2014 in LA. In order to prevent her from causing more harm to other people, I am willing to help anyone who is suing her with testimony or a copy of the signed confession of Lise Winicki. I am a friend of a past victim of Lise Winkicki.
How do we all get in touch. This lady needs to be stopped. She is very shady for doing business the way she does. I was doing research on her and came across these reports. You are not alone. There are others in all different ventures. I took it upon myself to write this because her antics really took a toll on my friend and the proper authorities need to be notified. From the looks of a past post on Nov 24 it looks as if she currently resides at 1103 south tremaine ave los angeles ca report #1191052 .

I am the person who is referenced in an earlier report on this site by someone named Ian Grant, not known by me, for the judgement I was granted by the courts against Lise Winicki
This is what happened to me:
Lise Winicki leased my property May 2013 through a third-party agent for period of six (6) months (to Oct 31, 2013). She defaulted on payment for the last three (3) months, beginning in July 2013. She promised repeatedly to pay the overdue rent, with one excuse after another. She refused to move out until I was forced to serve her with a Summons from Santa Monica Court (Los Angeles Superior Court) to Pay or Quit. When she finally left in early November, she owed three months back rent, and was still promising to pay. Before and after she moved out, my lawyer gave her every opportunity to pay the monies owed—twice preparing, at her request, new contracts for a payment plan. After 7 months, I received a legal judgment against her for non-payment. I am still owed a total amount of $22,412.00 per Case No. 13R09306 ABSTRACT OF JUDGMENT -CIVIL AND SMALL CLAIMS, Superior Court of California, Los Angeles, (dated May 20, 2014.)
I would appreciate that you, as Lise Winicki’s attorney, facilitate repayment of monies owed to me as soon as possible, as I remain under severe financial hardship as a result of your client's default.

There was no dispute with Lise. The only agreement I had was Lise was that we was going to rent my house for 1 month.
It's very simple she rented my home for 1 month and gave me a check that bounced. I finally got her attention to payment through use of this site.
She has pulled this trick with at least 4 people that i'm aware of.
It might be nice if you were to educate Lise about check fraud.

This is Cory Birnberg, Birnberg & Associates, lawyers. Mr. Shawn Michienzi made an agreement to remove all posts and sign a relapse in exchange for payment to resolve the dispute. He was paid in full, in cash, and then refused to remove the posts and sign the mutual release. Instead, he has chosen this posting mechanism to further make accusations. The only reason he would further publish and break his agreement if he is motivated by ill will, malice and conscious efforts to further hurt my client. He has been paid in full and breached his agreement to remove the posts and sign the mutual release. We have been asked to proceed legally against him. After 5 months of trying to get Lise Winicki to pay me, she was finally motivated by seeing this post on Ripoff Report to pay the money that was 150 days past due. I have now received cash payment in full.
