The guy running this company is the biggest scam artist on the planet and there is no way her is paying the IRS, so IRS just to let you know this guy is cheating you too! He has a company called D-mantd Entertainment that host events at supposed haunted locations with these celebrities that have done ghosthunting on tv, wrote books, or are just people in the low level of the entertainment field. He hosted an event that was cancelled, why I asked, lack of ticket sales...but you can't have your money back. What!? Thats right he says, you should have read the fine prnit at the bottom of the event. it read something like this...
"THERE ARE NO REFUNDS TO ANY D-MENTD ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS. IF AN EVENT IS
POSTPONED, YOUR TICKET WILL STILL BE VALID ON THE NEW DATE.
REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED INDEFINITELY.
Completed ticket sales confirm your acknowledgement of the no refund policy at time of purchase."
So if you buy a ticket for any of their events, you can't get your money back, even if you had to cancel for personal reasons a month in advance, but when they cancel...its an automatic postpone, they will have the event another time...guess what, if you can't make it then, doesn't matter, the ticket is good for that events regardless if the new date works out for you or not. RIPOFF!!!
How are people like this just not in jail? The guy running it said at the Mid-South Paranormal conference that he pays a lot of the celebs cash so he can keep the events cheap. What!? So this is why I can't get a refund, because he pays people cash to avoid paying taxes to the IRS!
Stay away from any events run by Mike Roberts and D-mentd entertainment or just plan on getting screwed hard core and no one doing a god d*m thing about it.

As a person who has worked with Mike Roberts on many projects, and have booked his clients at our events, I can say without a doubt, this report is absolutely false. First it appears to be written by a 3rd grader. Such grammatical errors and spelling atrocities.
We have had over 3 years of business with Mike Roberts and his company D-Mentd Entertainment, and in no way, shape or form have we ever had any issue.
Ask yourself some simple questions in regards to this report. They misspelled the company name that supposedly ripped them off, they admit in the report that they purchased a NON REFUNDABLE ticket, yet expected a refund, even though they also clearly state that D-Mentd Entertainment offered them a replacement ticket or would honor their ticket to a future event. They did that to hep a frustrated consumer, even though they didn't have to.
Then this person suddenly goes on a rant about the IRS and accounting information that they would absolutely NOT have access to. This was clearly done to try and put a blemish on someone's reputation out of spite or personal vendetta.

First of all, just like with an airline, if you purchase a non-refundable ticket, you know that going in. Second of all, all tickets get honored if the event is postponed.
I know for a fact the owner of this company was NOT at mid-south paranormal conference, so that is false information.
And for the IRS, D-Mentd Entertainment is registered with the state, so they do pay the IRS. Clients are paid and issued 1099 forms since they are CONTRACTED to do an event, which means they pay their own taxes on any wages earned. Not the company. The individual pays those taxes.
So not sure what your gripe is here.
