Bank of America is scamming their customers and taking lots of money from them. They are using over draft fees in order to acheive this. Without consideration of the time or day of purchase, charges that are pending are arranged from smallest to the largest. (So if on Monday you make 10 purchases for 2 dollars, then on Tuesday your rent check bounces, they will generate 11 fees of 35 dollars each). They may say that is is because the charges are pending. But I have made cash deposits before charges went through and I am still being charged the fees. The saddest part of all of this is that I had many purchases all on different days. Then my direct desposit entered my account. The next day a week worth of transactions was said to be posted all on the day before the deposit to the account. Every charge was lined up from smallest to largest, and therefore even items from previous days were up above the items that were larger and happened after. This was so that they could generate as many charges as possible.
Be very careful. Never be afraid to call bank of America and dispute a charge. Even though the customer services will try to dispute it with many different anwers.
Bank of America has stolen from me. Their own customer.
