OSP Communications Fraudulent Collect Call Charge Henderson, Nevada

A collect call charge of $14.37 for a 9 minute call which we never received appeared on our Verizon telephone under Billing Resources on behalf of OSP Communications. The fraudulent collect call charge claims that the call was made from a 480-987-9917 from Higley AZ on June 17, 2008 to our home phone number. At first Verizon refused to remove the charge claiming that we had to pay it or try to get OSP Communications to reverse the charge. When we called Verizon again to tell them that we could not connect to the number given by their billing resource for OSP Communications 866-460-0837, then Verizon agreed to remove the charge on condition that we settle the charge directly with OSP Communications. This is a real rip off and judging from the numerous reports on them, I hope the FCC finally takes some action to prosecute and shut them down for stealing money from unsuspecting telephone customers who may overlook these bogus charges. I have filled a report with the FCC and refered them to the other reports filed against OSP Communications on this web site.
