Steven Wray Grimaud Deadbeat Dad Works for the NSA Crofton Maryland

SUMMARY: The Governor of Maryland confirmed in Nov. 08, that all civil court records pertaining to child support for Steven Grimaud, were deleted from the Maryland State Court database. This was also confirmed by the Maryland Attorney General's office, and the supervising agent for the Maryland State Child Support unit, Mr. Walker.

Mr. Walker telephoned my home to inform me that the child support matter was 30 years old, it had been deleted from the files, and that essentially, a 30 year old child support matter was not important to the State of Maryland. Mr. Walker implied that even though Steven Grimaud was able to walk away with less than $100 a month for 13 years while holding down a Federal job and never once disclosing his income, the matter was closed.

Steven Grimaud has never been examined by any court in any state, or before any judge, to be ordered to pay child support. Steven has never disclosed his finances or his tax returns to any court in any state. Steven beat the child support system that every other father in America is required, by law, to stand to. Steven beat the system by expiring the statute of limitations. Steven hid his employment and salary and benefits from the Federal government for 30 years.

NSA agents have security clearances. These clearances fall under DOD 5220.6. It is a violation of the security clearance laws to fail to provide child support. People who have security clearances have routine re-examinations every 5 years. When the investigators ran the routine 5 year background checks, no evidence of deadbeat charges ever turned up. Maryland had erased the records as a courtesy to the NSA.

If the State of Maryland is erasing deadbeat dad cases off their court database, what else are they erasing as a courtesy to the NSA employees? How many criminal cases are they erasing as a courtesy to the Dept. of Defense employees? Are the routine background investigations discovering negative information? How easy is it for corrupt public officials to tamper with the court records in Maryland?

Maryland was supposed to get Steven Grimaud into a civil court in 1987, and force him to bring in his tax returns and provide the court with a financial disclosure so the court could make an award. The NSA closed the case to protect the agency from further embarrassment, and Maryland erased the case from the permanent files, so no further evidence of an NSA employee being a deadbeat would exist.

The Dept. of Justice sent 2 FBI agents to my home last year to ask about Steven Grimaud. I also spent 2 hours with Dept. of Defense investigators. I also contacted Diane Feinstein's office. I have had prior contact with Barbara Boxer's office and with Nancy Pelosi's office. No member of Congress or agent of the Federal government has ever acted as an advocate.

I wrote to the Secretary of Defense Gates, who referred my letter to the NSA Legal Desk. I received a letter from the NSA Legal Desk disavowing any responsibility.

I hired a private detective and an attorney in Maryland. The attorney called Steven and tried to reason with him. Steven agreed to drop the restraining order claiming he was harassed (which he is not) if I would sign a confidential agreement with him never to contact or speak to the Dept. of Defense about him again in the future.

I told my attorney as soon as Steven Grimaud agrees to abide by a standard domestic relations agreement I would consider something. There is no need for me to agree never to talk to the Dept. of Defense about him. That is not standard domestic relations. If Steven has done something he does not want to disclose to the Department of Defense, and he is worried that I will tell them what I know about his personal character, then he should take it up with the Secretary of Defense.

I am entitled to protection by the Constitution, to talk to my own government about whatever I feel they need to know, without being restricted by Steven Grimaud acting at the behest of the NSA legal desk. The NSA is embarrassed that they hired a deadbeat and kept him on the payroll for 30 years, and never once found out he had an ex-wife and a daughter he never supported. The NSA will go to any lengths to protect their own.

It is a violation of DOD 5220.6 to fail to pay child support and grounds for taking a security clearance away from any individual who shows overwhelming personal financial irresponsibility. So while the Federal investigators at the NSA snoop on your phone and feel they have a right to accuse loyal Americans of being disloyal to the United States with barely any evidence, they keep deadbeats on their own payroll who account to no one.

The private detective I hired works closely with the CIA. He ran a records check for Steven Grimaud in the State of Maryland. He told me that Maryland had "cleaned" it's court database for Steven Grimaud and that no deadbeat dad matter was on file.

Under Federal Law and the Social Security Act of 1984, child support, no matter if it is delinquent a year or 30 years, is still an obligation and responsibility and can be collected in Federal Court by any State that brings an action. Maryland, because of it's proximity to Washington DC, provides a convenience the rest of America doesn't enjoy: immunity from prosecution for certain Washington insiders. All they have to do is close the case and erase the records.

The best interest of the child is supposed to be served at all times in every court. Obviously, that doesn't apply to Federal employees. In this case, the best interest of Federal employees and their guarded reputation is paramount.
