Went to the David (Dave) Burke real estate seminar in 1865 W 121st Bldg C, Westminster, CO.
The event was supposed to be an informative, but it was sales pitch after sales pitch by David Burke and his workers. Their wanting to charge fees to provide reports and introduce you to these great deals.
Nothing was given on how you can do this on your own, it was about 5 hours of buy our products.
Most people got up and left early. David Burke then tried to sell some special software MAP (Mortgage Accelerator Plus). He was wanting $1497 for it. He said when had to buy doing this special promotion and that we could get out money back if we didn't like it. He didn't offer anything in writing to back up the "money back guarantee". I did some further checking and the software is offered everywhere else for $1295. The software has a wholesale cost from the company for $795 to reps.
Some further checking the revealed some state attorney generals are looking into the company the makes MAP (Mortgage Accelerator Plus). Few people tried getting their money back from the people that created it and had to file lawsuits.
The people that make MAP (Mortgage Accelerator Plus) offer a 30 day Money Back Guarantee, only if you don't open it. What kind of scam is that?

I would be very interested in what Ronald S. have said about state attorney generals' looking into the MAP. I tried googling it, but it seems that it does not exists. Let's see... an outright lie perhaps?

The seminar was free. Never claimed it wasn't. To spend 5 hours of nothing but sales pitch and then try to be sold on some software with NO money back guarantee in writing. I was bothered by that.
Tom Martino has commented in the past to stay away from Dave Burke. He got trouble with HUD or FHA I can't remember which one Tom said. Tom Martino runs a national talk show. Not some sales-pitch-a-thon.
In the meeting with Dave Burke he had some unfounded negative comments toward Tom Martino.

Are You Kidding??!

I thought this website was intended to serve as a resource to discuss ACTUAL rip-offs. I am familiar with the real estate market in CO and the Real Talk Network. Unfortunately for the poster of this complaint, I can't remember the last time someone said something that made me feel so embarrassed for them. So what you are saying is,...you got ripped off at a FREE SEMINAR and they even had the NERVE TO OFFER A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE after showing you how to pay off your debt!!?? Hmmm....OK, so, what is the complaint again?
Second of all, is there a more ignorant thing to say than "there is a mark-up from wholesale"? How in the world would a person make money as a promoter of a product if they didn't mark it up? I contacted Dave myself before composing this posting to inquire about the price difference between his MAP product and the cost through the manufacturer in California, and determined that Dave and 'Real Talk' hold workshops to help buyers of their product execute using the program. So, for a measleyDave appears to actually be one of the only people who care enough to see something they sold get used. Once again, I can't help but feel sorry for the bloke who orginally complained because based on his comments, it appears he got about the same value from his english class. As for you readers, I would hope you choose not to put much weight into the opinions of Ronny boy and do your own research. I personally have found nothing negative to say about the group Dave Burke is running.
