PayPerPlay (PPP, Pay Per Play) audio ads is perhaps the strangest kind of ripoff that you will find. They are not scamming people out of money (YET!?!). What they are doing is convincing people to place code on their websites to trigger the delivery of 5 to 8 second audio advertisements each time a person visits the site. The idea that these ads will "annoy" and drive users away in droves has been widely discussed in the blogosphere so I will not delve into that here.
Where the potential scamminess of this program comes to light is when you scratch a little deeper than the surface. See, PPP has partnered with Vioce2Page (Larry Host and Michael Knox). V2P, has reportedly forgotten to, failed to, neglected to or simply REFUSED to pay affiliates in another audio ad delivery scheme several years ago. Now they are back in the ring with the same kind of product with a different label: same hucksters too, with the exception of "master affiliate recruiter" Charles Heflin. I say "master affiliate recruiter" because this program either blames or credits Heflin for doing such a great job of recruiting publishers that they don't have enough ads to go around.
Speaking of not enough ads....
In the recruitment propaganda PPP/V2P/NAA "claimed" to have a host of "big named" advertisers "waiting in the wigs" for the full rollout of this program. They quoted HBO, unnamed presidential candidates and an enigmatic "search engine partner", but when pressed for a list none was forthcoming and NONE of the ads that I have heard lend any credence to their claims.
Their sales pitch also promised that publishers would "get paid for every visitor". My experience and that of others strongly suggests otherwise. In fact, over the past 2 months one publisher sent over 1.1 million impressions to this program with less than 2000 ads played. At their rate of $0.0035 per play, over 1 million impressions netted this publisher a whooping $6 and change. We can only trust and assume that these numbers are accurate because the PayPerPlay program has been plagued with statistics tracking outages and programming issues that never seem to get fully solved.
The chances of this program EVERY getting off the ground are infinitesimally small, but should they teach their turkey to fly everyone should be aware of the history of the people involved and use their better judgment BEFORE investing any time or money into promoting Pay Per Play audio ads.
Whatever you do, please DO NOT take my word for this. I am sure that I will be rebuffed as retaliating for chewing "sour grapes". Do yourself a favor and Google:

Vioce2Page Scam
You will find a wealth of VERY interesting information that YOU can use to decide if PayPerPlay/PPP/NetAudioAds/NAA/Vioce2Page/V2P audio ad delivery program is a scam, a ripoff or just a bunch of guys that have no clue what they are doing. Be sure to weigh ALL of the info BEFORE you invest anything into this deal.

Eight months later and Voice2Page still can't get it right!

One more reason to avoid getting involved with GetAudioAds (NetAudioAds, Voice2page, PayPerPlay) is due to the false statements they make on their OWN website as well as false statements and promises that they have made since their second attempt to launch their product, Pay Per Play. How would you explain to a publisher signing up in your downline that they WOULD NOT get paid for EVERY VISITOR? Voice2Page continues to spew these LIES and ignores constant requests to have them corrected. What is their motive? Is it to latch onto more publishers (webmasters) with false promises and then try to explain it was only a simple mistake? Plus, they don't tell you that they are going to use your site to promote non-paying ads and sweet insider deals in which THEY own the URL such as SignUpForCards.
Voice2Page made a planned second launch on March 1st 2008 but it failed miserably. Since then, it has been excuse after excuse using the main excuse that they were still in beta. But, what about all the testing they did when they made their first launch in 2006/2007 which also failed miserably? In early August 2008, Larry Host announced that the program was out of beta and ready to roll. Roll with what, Mr. Host? A bunch of non-advertisers that failed to materialize? Now he uses the excuse that no one wants to be the 'first one on the dance floor'. Well, guess what, Larry, with YOUR track record, can you blame them? Do you think that they are all stupid, haven't done due diligence, are not aware of your company's false statements (which will continue to dog you), your failed launches, your lack of a business plan, your lack of sufficient personnel, your shoestring operation (paychecks still not showing up), your lack of just about anything that a well organized company would have in place PRIOR to projecting ANYTHING! Your reputation will always precede you and you, Mr. Host, are damaged goods!
Below is what it still shows on Google as well as on the company website at NetAudioAds

Network News August 5, 2008 - NetAudioAds-Believe it! It's here, and it's Awesome-
(Las Vegas, NV - August 5, 2008) Let me begin by saying- I am a National Network investigative reporter who has the assignment of writing about the future today.
Who, What, Why, Where and When-
First the Who- A creative group, who believe in a dynamic Internet audio acceptance.
What- Advertising or personal messages to anyone on the web.
Why -Why not. People love to receive audio messages and the global market is all ears.
Where-, The World Wide Web.
When-, Now, a BPA audited network reaching over 25 million unique visitors daily.
Let's add How-Mans quest for Greatness. If your mind can conceive it, and your heart can believe it, you can achieve it.
..and they did!
NetAudioAds enable businesses, and the public internet users to place a voice message or image jingle to who ever they want. Vocie2Page Communications focus groups tested the acceptability of a short 5-8 second dynamic audio message. Was it interruptive to the internet visitor, be it a web-site, blog, Ebay customer or just a simple advertising message at web-site launch? The answer was No.
In fact a good number of the focus group study actually welcomed the message. We all know the world of advertising can be over bearing. TV, radio, spam, it can be very irritating. Not this concept. It's kind of like your own butler saying- Good Morning Mr. Bond, have a good day, you deserve it, here's your morning coffee. Imagine how it can be used for public service announcements as well.
NetAudioAds and personal voice over messaging can make it fit. These short ad messages called Adlets' can be placed by major corporations on the NetAudioAds op-in network to reach a specific area of the world, a demographic group, City, State, Country, anywhere, and anytime. The demo numbers are huge, reaching 100's of millions and growing everyday. The user simply can pick up their cell phone and record a message, or load a jingle into the magical system and program it to play to the targeted group. There is no message loss with NetAudioAds, and key word response can be fine tune in minutes which can not be done with other mass media, it is quick and effective.
Current estimates show NetAudioAds generate almost 30% of the daily ad-traffic that Google produces with their online ad network. Numbers are growing every 24 hours, enabling over 20 million audio spots or voice messages heard. Experts in the ad industry have proclaimed this a winner. NetAudioAds are here and the future growth potential is as large as the World Wide Web. Get Ready, here it comes, at the speed of Fiber Optics- WITH NO LIMITS..

PAYPERPLAY IS IN BETA TESTING PHASE
AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, April 08, 2008
Amazing,
I am testing system just as thousands of others are, and that is what BETA TEST mode does, test all the systems to insure proper operation, so what do you expect from a start up company?
I have scanned every single forum and blog on subject and I cannot verify any of what has been claimed by just a couple people who may have not been paid a few bucks from old affiliate positions supposedly owed them by supposedly same company.
Out of all the posts I have read, I have yet to see proof of any claims of not being paid, nor I heard of any significant money, just a few bucks which can easily fall between the cracks with all affiliate programs, so big deal, no one has lost money for there is no money being invested in this venture or previous ones. If I added up all the times affiliate programs have ripped me off, it would be in the dozens, so do what I do, I drop them and move on.
Scanning the internet, if there are only about three people I have read claim to have not received all commissions, and with tens of thousands involved at one time, I would say this is pretty good sign that this company is better than most, so time will tell, but heck, no one has lost a dime, so why waste your time, move on.

Larry Host Threatened to publish negative information about my children in response to him being exposed as a DEAD BEAT dad.
Why anyone would do business with a company when their front man could not pass a background check to be a greater at Wal-Mart is beyond me!!
Advertisers above have met our
