Me and all my mates and colligues are using FFI products for allmost 3 years.we never had any problems,only benefiting from it.Compain against FFI,its a lie spreading by oil companies.Im not a distributor or anything that connects me with FFI.Im a consumer.90% reducing harmfull exhaust,thats amazing fact,im not talking about 18% economy.

Hello all, Im from Brazil and I have a 1991 GM Chevy 500 DL ( I think this is a Brazilian model you dont have in USA). This MPG-CAP arrived in Brazil some years ago, but Im knowing about this product now. My old Chevy needs to be adequate about "Gas emission". One of the bigest state of Brazil, since last year, started to measure the poluent emission from the cars, I know that I need to look for a specialized mechanic to put my car inside the treshold. So, Im looking for someone that have already used MPG-CAP against poluent emission. Id like to know how much efficient is it?

Heather, it sounds as though you are a distributor but your article does not state that. As part of "my" educated research on this product I am in search of "credible" information, however if you are as intelligent as you state I don't understand why you have so many misspelled words and poor sentence structure. As such, I don't find what you say to be credible in my research.

I know I just wrote a response a few hours ago but i've never read the other responses. Randy Ray wrote that if you have any problems call him at his office and he'll fix the problem. That's pretty cool. His response is about two or three responses above mine. Thank you.

Sounds like you overdosed your vehicle. With a small car comes with a small gas tank. Your suppose to use 1 pill on the first fill up and then half a pill for rest of the time you fill up.

It is amazing to me the bickering and spewing of garbage. There are many comments that have been made from those that believe that the MPG-Caps work and from those that think it is a scam. The bottom line is that there will always be conflict about everything. Always has, always will. I own several retail automotive accessories stores and I deal with this on a daily basis. No matter who you are or what you do, there is always going to be someone that either agrees or disagrees with you in some way. No matter how hard we try, you cannot please all of the people all of the time. I think that Heather has some very valid points, but I also think that she is a bit naive, too. I also think that Steve has some very valid points but may be a bit macho. The simple fact is, the product is here and you, me and everyone can perform any amount of "third party tests". To this I say, I am doing just that. How great would it be if this product really does work. Save money on your gas. What a concept. For those that pop off and say that if there were a magic pill that could do just that, the auto manufacturers would be the first to bring it to light, wake up. This is not the United States of "FREE", it is the United States of "POLITICAL" and "MONEY" and "POWER". Do you think for one second that the technology that we have now is new, or is it old and being let out slowly. Think about it. If we were suddenly given the technology that the governments have hidden from us, what would happen to the world. Stock markets would crash, and economies would crumble. This stuff is let out slow so it can be absorbed. Gas companies are not going to let a technology become available that would shrink their Billions of dollars per year revenues to millions of dollars. Companys like FFI are a wild card. It takes people like Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis, that have the ability and know how to attempt a feat like this. If people would actually pay attention, they would see that this product is not new. It has actually been around for quite some time, and with great results. I, myself, have been testing this product, on my own vehicles for quite some time and have seen at least the results that FFI posts, and in some of my vehicles, better than FFI's results. But, for the sake of arguments, let us put aside the whole, save money on our gasoline. How about, just for a second, lets look at the other side. The emissions reduction that this product achieves is worth far more than the gas savings.

Now don't get all worked up, I am not a tree hugger or radical environmentalist, but I am very aware of the "smog" problems in our world. I think that we have an opportunity with this company and this product to actually change things for the better. I implore all of you, old or young, to test this one. Stop fighting over whether or not you will get 2% or 200% savings on your fuel. If you get a reduction in your emissions and maybe a little better fuel mileage too, wouldn't that be worth something?? I have been testing this myself, with older cars and brand new ones. So far we have seen great results. Some better than what FFI states and some not quite as good. But on the average they are all doing what FFI claims. You want third party testing, do it. Prove it to yourself. Don't take my word or your buddies word, or Jerry Langs or Randy Rays. Those of you that live in a state that requires emissions testing have an easy way for tests, and those that do not, there are lots of shops out there that have the equipment, so check it out.

To Heather, and all FFI believers..WAKE UP!!

There is no magic pill to increase gas mileage. There have been numerous gas saving scams over the years, and independent third party testing has proven each one to be a scam. As gas prices escalate, the claims escalate as well as the number of products hitting the market.

To date, I have been unable to find even 1 INDEPENDENT third party test that validates FFI's claims. NOT 1. That's because there are NONE.

Now, for the common sense issues.

1. As hard pressed as auto manufacturers are to achieve increased mpg by the EPA , don't you think with the massive resources they have, and long time engineers employed , would have already come up with something like this?

2. Modern computerized vehicles actually CANNOT achieve wild MPG increses. It is physically impossible, as the computer regulates everything that happens under the hood and elsewhere!

3. Manufacturers STRONGLY advise against ANY additives, as they are known to damage sensors, and computers in your vehicle. Emissions equipment cannot handle these sort of additives, and will usually result in degraded performance, degraded fuel economy, and costly repairs. This is a well documented FACT, not my opinion.

4. You can get increased gas mileage just by properly inflating your tires, selecting the proper oil, changing your filters, etc. Even changing your driving habits and using the cruise control makes a drastic difference.

5. Most people do not even know how to properly figure gas mileage. they just pull a number from the sky that sounds right, and then make the claim! I have seen this.

6. ONLY scientific, controlled tests can accurately prove these claims. FFI has NO PROOF of any of these claims. NONE.

It takes discipline to fill your tank to the exact same place each time and then reset the odometer, then record your miles and gallons added. Then repeat this cycle several times EXACTLY, and average the results. If you do not do this, you CANNOT make any truthful or accurate MPG claims.

Heather, NO individual saved $3000 by using these caps. Guaranteed. Even at the wild 10% savings claim of FFI and some distributors, that means the person would have had to spend over $30,000 to save $3,000! Think about it, at $3/gallon, that person would have had to buy 10,000 gallons of gas! So even at a 20mpg average, that person would have had to drive 200,000 miles to save $3k. And that is at the outrageous claim of 10%. Most fuel savings [by doing the things I suggested above]are in the 1-5% range. Not 10%. The average person drives 15k miles per year, so I'll be generous at 20k per year. This means your friend would have had to test the product for 10 years!

Now, those are the FACTS!

It is just simple science and good old fashioned common sense, nothing more!

Did you know that underinflated tires can easily decrease your fuel mileage up to 20%? Fact.

Did you know that you can cut your mpg almost in half just by choosing the wrong oil and having a clogged air filter? Fact.

Did you know that driving with your windows open can dramatically decrease your gas mileage? Fact.

Did you know that buying the wrong fuel can decrease your fuel mileage? For example, if you have a small car that is designed to run on 87, you will most likely get worse mpg if you run 93? Fact.

Furthermore, I have no idea how you can come on here at the age of 17 and give the "facts" on this issue. Where, exactly did you get your facts? Not from personal experience, I can assure you. At 17 you have been driving for 1 year max. Do you have your own car? Do you buy your own gas? do you fill it all the way up every time, and take mileage and gallons down.

Have built and raced racecars.
Have college with Engineering as major topic.
44 years old.
I was doing these things 27 years before you were even born.

Go back to school.
get a college education.
learn what you are talking about.

Hi, My name is Heather and yes, I am 17 years of age. Don't let that fool you because I'm extremely intelligent and a VERY opinionated girl who might be able to teach you a thing or two. I thought all you adults could use a little constructive criticism because even I, at age 17, am aware of possible product scams and false claims. There is a VERY easy solution to all of this. So please... Read.

I'm going to start off by saying that I just recently started reading up on the whole Fuel Freedom Internationals and it's money making opertunities that it claims to offer, and I think it's about time that you consumers sueing the company get a reality check.

I have read quite a few testimonials from consumers that said the product works and a few from those who claim it doesn't. I have read that people have not received their ordered product, or had damage to their vehicle, and so on and so forth. Let me be the first to say that when you purchase a vehicle, it is YOUR vehicle. Anything you choose to put in that vehicle, is your own decision making. Nothing, absolutely nothing is ever 100% garaunteed to work, even IF there are claims being made.

Anyone with common sense knows that anything can go wrong with any product but you take that risk everytime you decide to use a product especially on something as expensive as a vehicle (new or old). So for all you former consumers of the MPG-CAPS who aren't satisfied with the results or are now starting law suits against the company, take it from a 17 year old girl, maybe you should have looked into this BEFORE YOU made the choice to put them in your gas tank. Are you not adults that should know not to act on impulse, but to be responsible and make well educated decisions in situations like this.

Also, I personally know multiple people who have been using the MPG-CAPS for months now and 1 has even saved over 3000 dollars in gas. I've spoken with truck drivers, mothers, grandmothers, students, taxi drivers, and all sorts of people driving under different circumstances, distances, speeds, ect, but all whom are explaining to me that they have noticed a significant increased gas mileage. So here you all are making these claims that the product doesn't work, when a large quantity of people throughout the WORLD, are completely satisfied with the results, and the sales rates are continuing to rise.

So inconclusion, given the amount of people that have used or are using this product, and the number of people insisting it doesn't work, I would have to say I'm in favor of the MPG-CAPS and would advise that the rip off reporters go get a second inspection on their vehicle because thermally derived oxidation is not going to cause $1600 of damage to your vehicle. And I hope all reading this will listen me (the 17 year old girl), and use common sense next time you decide to try out a product on your vehicle that you're unfamiliar with.

You have not proven that the MPG product from Fuel Freedom International has harmed your vehicle, and as a matter of fact, you are not telling the truth. You must take care of your vehicle at all times,.(oil changes on time, scheduled maintenance, take newer cars to dealerships for flaws) and I dont appreciate the untruthful comments you have written about this company. Dont try to blame them for your irresponsibility.

If you are not familiar with what EPA registration means, here is the definition:

EPA Information- What does EPA Registered Mean? The EPA registration process for fuel and engine additives requires that the manufacturer present evidence of the chemical description of the product. Based on that information, the EPA decides whether the product has any side effects that can be harmful to your engine. One of my drivers sent me an e-mail tonight about your "report," and I just had to write back, even though I am very busy enjoying the profits we have made from the MPG-MEGA-CAPS product, as well as the maintenance we saved on our trucks.

We have over $200,000 of equipment, we would never risk loosing them over ANY product.

The MPG product is an excellent product for cars as well as diesel trucks. Not only do you save money per mile, your car has more power, and runs smooth.

Increasingly high fuel prices mean an increase in the number of products that promise to add fuel savings and cut costs at the pumps.

ABC News recently reported results for the MPG-Cap, a gas pill marketed by the Florida-based company Fuel Freedom International. Click here to view the original story.

According to Fuel Freedom International's website, a $2 MPG-Cap in your gas tank for every fill will increase mileage by 10 percent to 20 percent. However, when an ABC affiliate enlisted AAA to test the pill, results were different, according to ABC.

An expert from the AAA saw no improvement while driving at 34 miles per hour and a 4 percent increase in mileage at 65 mph, according to ABC. The company recommended using a larger dose of the pills, but when AAA used four pills in a tank of gasoline there was no difference in mpg, ABC reported.

Consumer groups warn that these products fail to live up to the promise of better fuel economy. The ConsumerReports.org website reports devices it has tested did nothing to improve fuel economy. The bottom line, according to ConsumerReports.org is, the best way to get the most from a tank of gas is to follow the vehicle manufacturer's service schedule.

The EPA Gas Saving and Aftermarket Retrofit Device Evaluation Program has tested devices with fuel economy claims for more than 30 years and reports not one of the products has ever come out proving their touted effects in a laboratory setting, said Anthony John Maietta, Life Scientist, EPA Region V, Chicago. The EPA has not specifically tested the MPG-Cap.

FFI's website says MPG-Cap is registered with the EPA, which could lead consumers to believe that means it is approved or endorsed by EPA as a gas-saving product.

However, that's not what it means, said Maietta.
All (the guiding law) says is if you want to sell a fuel additive in the United States, you need to register that product with EPA, he said. These types of companies tout the fact that they are following the law, nothing more. In order to be registered, you need to tell EPA what is in the additive you are going to sell, as well as how much of it.

This way, EPA can tell if the additive will be harmful to your engine (or its emissions), and then can accept the registry or not. This is so that when you go to a Pep Boys and pick up a can of Heet, you know it won't kill your car. This registration does not validate any product claims. It only makes sure that negative effects aren't seen.

So, you may not be able to buy a magic bullet that will increase gas mileage, but there are some steps to take that will help.

Keep your car tuned up.
Slow down and avoid a lot of jerky starts and stops.
Make sure your tires are properly inflated.
The use of AMSOIL synthetic motor oils is a tried and true method of increasing fuel efficiency. Independent tests indicate synthetic lubricants can increase fuel efficiency by 2 percent to 5 percent, while field testing and on-road operation indicate AMSOIL synthetic motor oils yield even greater fuel economy benefits.

I have been involved with FFI from May of 06. I to did not get my product untill July. For some one who has any understanding of a new MLM company that is not a bad thing. I would rather be with a company that can't keep up with shipping in its first 90 day's than with one that ships out the next day I start.

I have been using the MPG product for over a year in both of my Vehicles.06 toyoto van, 24.5 to increase of 32 miles per gallon with no problems. My 98 Dodge 1500 4x4 truck 8 miles with out and 12 with. More power and no pings. In 18 months the company is doing business in 190 countries and is generating some health checks for a lot of people.

You might want to check with the city of Witchata KA. after their city fleet failed the state emissions test they started using the MPG caps and after two weeks all vehicles showed reduction from 86% to 100% in all test vehicles.( test are avalible).

I guess in summary any one can find some thing negitave about any thing. Maybe Patrick got some bad fuel, after all the mechanic did say bad gas.

The issues that Glenn had with Fuel Freedom International, LLC, and the MPG-CAPS have been resolved to the complete satisfaction of Glenn.

FFI, through their attorney Robert Dawson, has admitted there was a MPG-CAP recall.

"If this was caused by the recalled pills, we will cover the cost of the repair."

Now you tell me there was a recall?

Why didn't ANYONE (Gary Ferency or FFI) mention this during ALL the months I was complaining about the "vapor lock" problem, before my car failed the smog test or before I spent days taking my car to repair shops 6 times and running up over $1600 in charges?

The first pills Gary Ferency gave me were the shape of a capsule. I do not remember if they had any cardboard backing. The more recent ones are smaller and triangular shaped (I have 3 of the smaller ones that were never used).

When Gary gave me the newer smaller MPG-CAPS, he simply said they changed the shape due to new larger machine being used to produce more pills per day.

Now I'm also wondering why NONE of the FFI distributors I've emailed ever mentioned any recall. Was this some giant secret that FFI only mentioned to someone AFTER the MPG-CAPS damaged their vehicles?

If so, I believe FFI might be facing criminal charges, since the "vapor lock" I experienced definitely put my life and the lives of others in danger when it happened on a freeway with me in the center lane, unable to go the minimum speed and cars whizzing by me at 70 to 80 miles an hour.

There is no more "maybe" about damage that can be done by Fuel Freedom International MPG-CAPS. These "gas pills" clogged my fuel system which resulted in $1623 in parts, labor,
6 visits and 9 days in repair shops.

On Sept. 19, 2006, Sun Auto Service, Henderson, Nevada, uncovered the 100% absolute cause of my fuel system problems. To quote Bobby Adams, Manager at Sun Auto "the gas pills gummed up your fuel regulator."

On September 11, Attorney Dawson said via email that FFI would be willing to pay for an independent lab to examine my damaged auto parts. I replied by saying OK, provided that FFI reimburse me for all my repair bills and disclose the facts to you & consumers if lab findings confirm my claim. As of this date, 10 days later, they have not responded.

Thus, if you become a similar victim, you should expect the same response.

Aside from releasing my findings here, to other news media, EPA, FTC and Florida State Attorney General, I am formulating civil action.
