I have been a customer of Eagle Warranty for nearly fours years. We have always paid on time and asked for very little. I have run into a situation which has me now questioning whether or not I should continue with the company. That will go upon expiration if this problem can't be resolved. The wheel bearing on one of my wheels had gone bad. When we looked at our contract and saw the Drive axle front and rear covered which included all internal lubricated parts, we, the mechanic and I, figured it would be covered. It's internal, lubricated and on the front axle. They denied the claim saying it's not part of the front axle is ridiculous. I've spoke with other car warranty companies and they said it would be covered under their standard contract.

Eagle doesnt pay shops either!!!
AUTHOR: Texas Auto Repair Shop - (U.S.A.)

I am a shop owner in San Antonio Texas, I repaired a vehicle for my customer and went through all the "proper steps" to get authorization for a fuel pump repair which was covered under warranty by this policy. I was fortunate enough to speak with Chad who authorized the repair at just barely over cost to do the job.
a $ 1014.00 job they would pay $614.00 and I had to give a one year warranty at this price. I submitted the invoice with authorization # 29020363 several times since Feb. 2 2009 and have never been paid. I have tried as well as the customer
and have never been paid. The amount of hassle for the shop and the 400 dollar discount given to the EAGLE WARRANTY company has made my shop in San Antonio stop doing work using these type of warranty policies. My advice as a shop owner is to save the money for the warranty and put it towards your needed repairs the vehicle will eventually need. And Sean (that works for the company)
if you do some how read this I would like a direct number to reach you so I could get paid for this repair your company still owes me for. due to the fact that I let the vehicle out of my posession as to not inconvienence them not having thier vehicle for 3 to 7 days I have no recourse to reposses thier car. Dont buy one of these warranty's as the company wont pay or take care of business in a professional manner.

Well, I have been told about the "pipe fitter Sean" and had been asked if it was me. No, my name is listed and I work for Eagle. Robert from Hanover never contacted me about his problem, which could have been resolved without resorting to this silliness. My retort actually centers around the comments made by "Joe". Can these people be more obvious? In my opinion, "Joe" is actually a pair of intoxicated, angry former employees who are feeling light in the wallet these days due to their hairbrained "schemz", I know that is spelled wrong but adding a "z" looks cool to them, so I will appease their taste. A puppet? If you call going to work, performing the job duties charged to you by the individual actually signing your payroll check at the end of the week actions of a puppet, then yes I am. Wait, wouldn't that make everyone actually working for an employer puppets? I guess I am one of millions of puppets in this country. "Joe" obviously thinks they are above us puppets. Maybe some will say "I am my own boss, I answer to no one". If you pay taxes, abide by most laws and conform in anyway to the structure of this country, then the government holds the strings puppet, get used to it. Oh yes, by the way, I have no idea of how to fit pipes, sorry. But I do know 1/4" is different from 1/4'! So to summarize, customers should contact upper management with legitimate concerns, we are all puppets and I fail to see the relevance in pointing that out and finally leave this forum open for suggestions and not utilize it for childish banter. Happy vacation!

Ok Inspector Gadget, load the gun before you shoot it! I am none of the above; I fit pipes for a living. Drive up to the Montage Mountain shopping mall site and ask for "The MC", see if I look like a CEO! You mean there could be more than one Sean in PA, there are Irish people in PA? Reading your post, one would be lead to believe that you can accomplish nothing better during the day but to whine and complain about how you feel you are owned something because of your obvious mental disadvantages! Lets slow it down for you; my whole point was that you signed a contract, which is a binding agreement of coverage, that has limited coverage terms listed upon it and that both parties were legally obligated to follow. You on the other hand, feel that by crying a river, you can get what you want covered when you want because you "didn't understand it". Grow up, become a man/woman/shim, and accept the fact that you are owed nothing! Feel free to respond, however I will not waste anymore time on this matter.

THE WEB WE WEAVE WHEN WE TRY TO DECIEVE.
AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

Now while no one can be sure, Sean of Fourth Street PA speaks definitely like he is either in the car warranty business or is a mechanic. Just so all can understand, Brian, the rude customer service rep from Eagle Warranty said that Sean whom he claimed was the CEO, or something like that, is his supervisor and that he Brain was in charge of Customer Relations.
Now given the facts 1. Eagle Warranty's (Brian) stated his supervisors name to be Sean, 2. How Sean responded in defense of this contract and 3. how specific he was in defining what an axle 4. I received an e-mail back from a Sean of eagle warranty.
This would lead a reasonable person to believe Sean of Fourth Street, PA and Sean of Eagle Warranty are one in the same. Now if they are (and believe them to be) this is a clear case of how they will try to deceive you.
Instead of responding as the spokesperson for Eagle Warranty, he chooses to respond as a customer suggestion. This might be because he knows that any reasonable average person wouldn't have the knowledge or the info like he presented. But I wonder which one of the Three Stooges he considers any reasonable average person' to be Moe , Larry or Curly?

I CANNOT BELEIVE
AUTHOR: Sean - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, June 01, 2006
I had one of these contracts; unlike the three stooges you reference in your complaint, I actually understood my contract, because I know what the components are that are described in the contract. Your contract probably states something like "front and rear axle , axle housing and all internal lubricated parts".
Let's delve; your vehicle is a front wheel drive, I would assume, since you are lumping your wheel bearing in with drive axles. In that case, does your vehicle have a solid front axle, like say on a Jeep Wrangler or older full size pick ups? No, it has a Constant Velocity (CV) axle set up. Your transaxle contains the differential and corresponding propulsion equipment, which eliminates a solid axle.
Now, is your wheel bearing contained within your CV axle? No, it sits on the ouside of the shaft enclosed in a seperate assembly. Yes, the bearing is internal of a case, lubricated by grease, but not enclosed in drive axle housing as described. If you want new car warranty covereage, buy a new car! You have a limited service contract, deal with it!
