This is of those web sites that ask you to complete a short survey and recieve a free gift. at the end of their survey your told that you have to fill out two sponsers from a list to get your gift. once done they tell you to fill out two more, that being done you have to fill out four more after that i said s....-it and gave up. my point is this, thats what they want you to do. that way they get the info and don't give a gift, not to mention the sponsers that you contacted benifits because you have signed up with their programs.
another thing i found out is that their connected with "Dealpass.com" which had i known i would have stayed well away from and would advise others to do the same.

#2 UPDATE Employee

Our company is incorrectly mentioned in this report

AUTHOR: Alanbreslaw - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 06, 2008

I am an employee of HotHouse.com which has been our site since 1995. We have never worked nor heard of dealpass.com. In addition, the types of promotions and everything mentioned are things we have NEVER done in our time as an online retailer. We don't ask people to do a "short survey" and have never given out a "free gift". I believe the consumers issue is with DealPass.com and I would appreciate our name being taken out of the title line of report #165858. Im sure if John Martinsburg were to re read the the title he might find that he misspoke about our company. At the time of "incident" our web business was very small and our traffic limited. We had no connections with any sites like the one mentioned and still don't. We are a niche adult market that has nothing to do DealPass.com. Thanks.

Consumer incentive Promotions and Offers

AUTHOR: Janine - (U.S.A.)

OK, At the bottom of the consumerincentive promotions site there are a group of links. If you click on the terms and conditions it will tell you how many offers you have to complete. Most likely you had a 8 offer item, the bigger the value of the item the more offers you have to complete. This is not a scam but it can be time consuming. However, I do think their pop up advertising is misleading in that all you have to do is to fill out a free survey to get the item.
