Short Version: Stone Evans, creator of the Plug-In Profit System, promises a clone website of his own home business set up for you, but not before you complete three (actually seven) steps that all require you to sign up under his name.
In order to get people to your website, Stone Evans and the PIPS community advocate the use of e-mail spamming. It's a sketchy "business" that costs hundreds if not thousands of dollars to purchase e-mail ("leads") lists, and bottom-line: it's illegal and just not worth it. Aside from that, nearly every link you can click on your web-site somehow will put more money in "Stone Evans'" pocket, making him richer, and the unknowing people he scams poorer. In terms of monetary investment, "Stone Evans" promises you to be making money for under $30 (do the math on the front page alone--it's a lie), but once you sign-up, his "30 Days to Success" requires you to sign-up (under his name OF COURSE!) for half a dozen other things that range from $19.95 a month to $75+ a month. GET A REAL JOB, "STONE EVANS".
Long Version: This past month I decided to take a gamble on one of these "work at home business" things. I stumbled across pluginprofitsite.com, a site that promised in "three easy steps" to setup my very own money-making website! YAY! (Feel free to open up to www.pluginprofitsite.com, so you can look at what I'm going to talk about).
This plug-in profit scheme is ran by a guy who calls himself "Stone Evans". Essentially, this entire system is nothing more than a pyramid-type scheme. Here's how it's supposed to work: you complete the three easy steps (actually seven in total, all which need your credit card and cost anywhere from 10 to 75 bucks a month), and each of which require you to sign up under "Stone Evans" name (which makes him money), and one that requires you to register a domain through one of his affiliates (surprise!), then "Stone Evans" sets up the same website for you. Then that's it. You're on your own. What do you do from here? You could turn to his terrible e-Book or message board community...
As part of his package, he includes his "30 Days to Success" eBook (I hate that word, "eBook"--synonym for crappy, last-minute-thrown-together, never-proofread website). All his "eBook" is are the same seven articles for each day of the week cycled over and over for four weeks. The only other means of support is to turn towards the forun which was down 90% of the time. But when I did finally get in for a few minutes here and there, I found that this forum was a meeting grounds for absolute lunatics from all over the world who are completely blinded by the fact that if they spam enough people through e-mail, they may make a $10 or $20 profit each month. So sad.
These individuals in the forum refer to eachother as "Warriors", and in said forum they exchange ideas for spamming, companies who will sell them e-mail lists (or as they refer to them--"leads"), and other random nonsense that one would expect from failure community college business majors and high school kids from Dublin, or wherever half of these morons come form. One idiot even spent $25,000 out of his own pocket (community college tuition?) to try and get people joining his retarded clone site.
Anyway..onto the climax of my story...
A few evenings later, the phone rang. It was VISA. They monitored my multiple purchases made using my card and called to alert me that every site except for one (Host4Profit, which is a legit, good domain hosting company) were on their FRAUD-WATCH list, to be watchful, and to monitor my bills.
And let me just say something about "leads": leads are e-mail addresses from nothing more than people who rushed through a form on some random website for whatever randomass reason and under the "interests" column they clicked on "business" and 10 other hobbies in order to complete the form. We've all done it. The website then sells this information, and if the website was lucky enough to get a valid phone number, the data is labeled "double opt-in"--the heroin of the spam-universe-- and sold for a lot of money to idiots on "leads sites".
No one I talked to in this forum was able to give me a straight out, honest answer as to whether they ever made ANY money under this system.
Oh, and don't be fooled by his memberships to "iCop: Protecting the Consumer" and "Better Internet Burea"--both are sites that require you to PAY THEM in order to REPORT one of their users! HAHAHA incredible!!
And in case you're wondering what exactly your "business" sells or does when its setup, it basically sells crappy E-Books and online Business Courses, and of course the plug in profit pyramid scheme.
I really don't feel like wasting anymore time on STONE EVANS, you've been WARNED!!!
Forgive me if there are typo's or grammar errors, Stone Evans wasted enough of my time to care enough to proofread this.

RE: Quote: " It seems to me that the author of this report didn't put any work into the Plug-In Profit System. Nothing is going to work out for you if you just sit around. The PIP system is based on affiliate programs, and these programs take time to gain momentum and start attracting prospective customers/ team members.
The main business here is attracting a lot of traffic. The author clearly didn't put enough time or effort to do this correctly.
As for claiming that Evans doesn't provide help? That's a bald faced lie. His e-book Dotcomology has been so much help, and the 30-day training is phenomenal and has truly helped me to understand what is going on in this business.
I have yet to make any money, but I'm only 14 days in, and I feel very positively toward this business.

The first website that was "Set up for you" by Stone Evans does not work anymore. And it was NOT really free. He promised after the 14 day free period you would make lots of money like he made...and appearently you did not even make enough to pay the $10 per month hosting fee to keep that one website hosted for free, so you know now, you were lied to by Stone Evans.
The second website that i highlighted belongs to Stone Evans DID have enough money to fund it, because they had helpers just like you to pay him to keep it going.
However, you could have easily had the company GDO that hosted your website the one that claims to have assistance to help you 24/7, the ones that claim to help you any way possible to do what Stone Evans "Claims" to do...to help you build a website "just like his".
Even after Stone Evans helped you set up the website, "for free" in his words, even though it wasn't free for you...you could have opted out of all those programs if you could not afford them on your own...because, if you cannot afford them, neither can others.
You need to also wonder why someone would volunteer to advertise YOUR business for you, and what interest they have vested into it? All the programs on the second highlighted page are still in Stone Evan's name, and still not in your name, either. If he really wanted to help his downline, why is he not helping his downline with a website that is free for everyone to get? The reason is that he is an affiliate marketer for the company that SELLS the website he sets up for FREE for you.
Sure, you have a free trial, but only 7 days. Anyone that promises you that after 7 days you will have the money to refund your initial investment in 7 days, or even a month that you will make lots of money, stay clear of.
Most companies take over five to seven years to see a profit in their business. If you cannot afford to open your own business, why would you pay to get a website "Which are available for free on the internet," Why would you pay to advertise for a business before you even could afford the business, even before knowing what it is that Stone Evans even sells?
He sells leads, and email addresses, that he got "illegally" off the internet by telling his website visitors to learn more about his illegit business, you must enter your name, address, phone number and email address. He also promised not to sell any of this information to anyone, yet he sells it and calls them leads.
You are probably one of his leads, too. Now, you have fallen victim to a pyramid scheme, too. You do not even realize it.
Anyone that asks you to invest lots of money into a business, and you do not even get a product for, nor do you even like to buy lots of things from, in the hopes that everyone will also buy your stuff, is a pyramid scheme.
A legitimate business where you work for someone actually pays you money to work for them, and no upfront fees, they usually pay you while you are in training. Do you know that the labor board makes it illegal to hire someone and not pay them if they are in training?
You should go to the labor board, and tell them, not only did Stone Evans not pay you for your training, but...he charged you for it, too.
He also did not have your permission to sell your name to others as a business lead. Please, when you ever see something like this, again...open a free email address online that you plan on closing when the endless offers of spam comes to you..because, that is exactly what this person did to you, they sold your name, email, phone number, address, and everything they could get from you, to a spammer, and did not have your permission to do this.
Beware of anyone that does this, please.

All you need to know about Stone Evans

The Federal Trade commission FTC- filed a complaint against Stone Evans in the United States Disrtict Cour of Eastern Texas FTC File No. 032-3108
Federal Trade Commission vs Defendant- Jeffery Stone Evans, AKA Stone Evans and Mark Wise.
The complaint had FIVE counts against Evans including Evans promoted a get rich quick Scheme by using unwanted email or spam. The FTC said essentially Evans claimed that by mailing out 4-5 letters with $5.00 in each that participants would receive substantial income including but not limited to making $500,000 every within 6 mos on an onghoing basis simply by working from your home. Evans also said one could become an internet millionaire like others within one year. It stated in effect the defendant [evans] promotes what is commonly known as a "pyramid scheme" that enriches a few at the expense of others.
Evans continued to promote the program through spam or selling "reports" even after a warning from the FTC advising Evans the program was illegal. There is much more in the filing which is compelling and raises questions on the character and ethics of Stone Evans. The end result was a "Stipulated Final Judgement and Order for a Permanent Injunction". I had a personal experience with Evans and his internet income program and to put it in a nice way...it was less than desireable.
I have paraphrased this info from the courts due to the rules of this website. However, anyone can google the info and gain access.

This Report Is Nothing But False Claims And Lies
AUTHOR: Amanda - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, March 25, 2009
There are about a million things wrong with your report. It's almost exclusively lies and you should really get your stuff straight before you slander a good person's name who is just trying to help others succeed.
"Short Version: Stone Evans, creator of the Plug-In Profit System, promises a clone website of his own home business set up for you, but not before you complete three (actually seven) steps that all require you to sign up under his name."
First off, you do NOT sign up under Stone Evans. You sign up under whoever referred you to his site, unless of course you weren't referred, which does defer to him in that situation, but most people who join are referred by others.
Secondly, you can sign up for as many or as few programs as you choose. The site he builds promotes all of them, but if you do not wish to join one at the time, your site promotes your sponsor's user ID unless you join it later, in which case you can log in and change your user IDs, making your links and banners promote you.
"In order to get people to your website, Stone Evans and the PIPS community advocate the use of e-mail spamming. It's a sketchy 'business' that costs hundreds if not thousands of dollars to purchase e-mail ('leads') lists, and bottom-line: it's illegal and just not worth it."
WRONG!!! They do NOT at all support spamming. They highly discourage it and even set up the automailer through GetResponse and include all required information required to comply with the CAN SPAM act. They discourage spam not only because it is illegal, but because the leads are NOT targeted. In other words, they are not people who are specifically looking for the type of thing you are offering. NOBODY in PIPS promotes SPAM!
"Aside from that, nearly every link you can click on your web-site somehow will put more money in 'Stone Evans'' pocket, making him richer, and the unknowing people he scams poorer. In terms of monetary investment, 'Stone Evans' promises you to be making money for under $30 (do the math on the front page alone--it's a lie), but once you sign-up, his '30 Days to Success' requires you to sign-up (under his name OF COURSE!) for half a dozen other things that range from $19.95 a month to $75+ a month. GET A REAL JOB, 'STONE EVANS'."
Those in glass huts should NOT cast stones! You call him a liar, but this very claim is a FAT LIE! All but a few of the things he promotes are FREE! Some of them do have paid options, that is true, but you can choose whether to upgrade or not. You are NOT obligated to join all of them. For example, I am not in Empowerism or Success University since you have to pay for them. I did NOT join the Co-op because it's far to expensive and I did NOT stay with Push Button Leads after the 15 day trial because I did not find it worthwhile and did not have the money for it. All of these things are optional. However, Web Prosperity is free, with an optional paid upgrade, as is TrafficSwarm, and SFI you can buy into Executive Affiliate status or just wait until you have enough sales. You are by no means obligated to pay anything! Stone also discusses many free ways of getting traffic and signups in his 30 Days To Success. You see, some people have money and others have time. He is just giving you options based on whatever you have more of. Here's a direct quote from the 30 Days To Success guide itself.
"First, please know that you don't have to do everything in this guide to make money with your website."
Here's another one.
"There are some people who take just one of the marketing strategies outlined in this guide and build a full-time income with it."
And one last one.
"My goal is simply to reveal options and provide instructions that will enable you to succeed faster."
Hmmm, "reveal OPTIONS" That means NOT REQUIRED! It is things he has been successful with, and considering he now has more money than time, some of them will undoubtedly be costly, but the free options may be things he used when he first started or things other PIPS members are having success with. This doesn't sound like a guy who wants only to milk you for what you're worth.
"This plug-in profit scheme is ran by a guy who calls himself 'Stone Evans'. Essentially, this entire system is nothing more than a pyramid-type scheme. Here's how it's supposed to work: you complete the three easy steps (actually seven in total, all which need your credit card and cost anywhere from 10 to 75 bucks a month), and each of which require you to sign up under 'Stone Evans' name (which makes him money), and one that requires you to register a domain through one of his affiliates (surprise!), then 'Stone Evans' sets up the same website for you. Then that's it. You're on your own. What do you do from here? You could turn to his terrible e-Book or message board community..."
These programs do NOT all require a credit card. As I stated earlier, many of them are FREE, with options for paid upgrades if you want them, but they are NOT required.
This is NOT a PYRAMID SCHEME! It is a genuine offer to help other affiliate marketers be successful online. Besides, a pyramid scheme is a program where there is NO product or anything of value, where you usually have to pay X amount, and then recruit others who pay X amount and you get a portion.
For example, a true pyramid scheme might be a website that says Join now for $10 and receive $1 every time you refer someone to join. Get just 10 referrals and you make your money back. Then get $0.50 for every second level and $0.25 for every third level referral. Get the picture?
This is MLM or Multi Level Marketing, but it is NOT illegal. In fact, companies like Avon have been doing this offline for a couple of DECADES! PIPS itself has been going for 7 years! If it was illegal, you would think it'd have been taken down by now. A lot of the real scams out there get nailed within a year or two tops!
"As part of his package, he includes his '30 Days to Success' eBook (I hate that word, 'eBook'--synonym for crappy, last-minute-thrown-together, never-proofread website). All his 'eBook' is are the same seven articles for each day of the week cycled over and over for four weeks. So sad."
The 30 Days to Success guide is just that, a GUIDE! It is not the HOLY BIBLE and Stone doesn't expect PIPS members to live by it to the letter. In fact, if every one of them did it probably wouldn't work because all the methods would be overused.
The forum members, as I said before, do NOT SPAM! In fact, I have found it extremely useful. They discuss good places to advertise, often free, tools for helping build your website, whether you know HTML or not, SEO optimization tips, general encouragement and inspiration, and a whole slew of other things.
As for the forum being down so much, I wasn't around during the time frame you are referring to, but the Plugin Profit Site Support forum is a subdivision of a general internet marketing forum and is thus NOT under Stone's control. You cannot blame him or other PIPS members for it being down any more than you can blame your cat, if you have one, for writing this ludicrous report!
"These individuals in the forum refer to eachother as 'Warriors', and in said forum they exchange ideas for spamming, companies who will sell them e-mail lists (or as they refer to them--'leads'), and other random nonsense that one would expect from failure community college business majors and high school kids from Dublin, or wherever half of these morons come form. One idiot even spent $25,000 out of his own pocket (community college tuition?) to try and get people joining his retarded clone site."
It's not the fault of the forum members that the forum is called "Warrior Forum." We didn't come up with the name! I've said it before and I'll say it again, PIPS forum members do NOT promote spamming! As for the guy that spent $25000 trying to get people to join his site, if that's true it was his stupidity, but we can't let this one guy be the representative of everyone else on the forum. I'm on limited income and I couldn't afford to spend that much if I wanted to. Still, he probably didn't know what he was doing and didn't ask for help, so he threw every bit of money he had into advertising methods that are not leverageable and wouldn't get him anywhere. He probably also did not track where his hits came from, which makes it even more useless. Sure there are going to be some people that are like that, but the ones who are truly intelligent and strive for success will take the extra time to figure out what works before throwing away their money. Oh yeah, and as for the clone site, it's really just a template. You can use things like Joomla, or Microsoft Frontpage if you don't know HTML or Notepad or something if you do to make changes to your site. In fact, Stone and the other PIPS members recommend that you make cosmetic changes to your site to personalize it and I've seen a few that have even been completely altered. That's up to the member to personalize their site though. Mine is relatively new, so it's almost the original site, but I've changed a couple things and am slowly working on more. It's all up to the user though.
"And let me just say something about 'leads': leads are e-mail addresses from nothing more than people who rushed through a form on some random website for whatever randomass reason and under the 'interests' column they clicked on 'business' and 10 other hobbies in order to complete the form. We've all done it. The website then sells this information, and if the website was lucky enough to get a valid phone number, the data is labeled 'double opt-in'--the heroin of the spam-universe-- and sold for a lot of money to idiots on 'leads sites'."
This is SO FALSE! While it is true that some leads do this, there are a lot of legitimate leads sites that will publish an ad about your newsletter/ezine. The users can then browse through them and subscribe if they want. Sometimes, they can join a site where they get an email if a new newsletter is added to a category they are interested in, but they still have to subscribe themselves. Also, GetResponse, the site Stone uses for the autoresponder, uses double opt in and they set it to that when they set up your site. This means that all subscribers MUST confirm their email address and desire to be on the list before they get a single email from it. If they don't want the newsletter, they simply ignore the email. So, even if someone used one of these lead sites you are talking about, knowingly or inadvertently, the users would still need to verify. While some lead sites fall into the description you gave, they are not all created equal and some really do give you targeted leads.
"No one I talked to in this forum was able to give me a straight out, honest answer as to whether they ever made ANY money under this system."
I don't know who you have been talking to, but I know several people who have made money, and one who's made around $50k/year from SFI alone, though I don't remember if they're in PIPS but still, $50k isn't bad. Granted that's over the course of 5 years it took to build that kind of income, but still it's not bad. And everyone on the forum, as well as Stone himself, does say it will take time to build up the income. It's not going to happen overnight by any means or under any circumstances.
Your views are EXTREMELY misguided and you probably didn't even put in an inkling of effort. It's no wonder you failed. People who whine and complain instead of taking action are the kinds who will fail. I'd wager you went into it with a pessimistic attitude, and an attitude like that is doomed to fail in any venture. You need to believe in what you're doing, set attainable goals, and then reach for them. Whether you choose to invest time, money, or both, you need to spend it wisely and not sit on your behind twiddling your thumbs. That will get you nowhere.I hope that anyone who reads this report is smart enough to read my rebuttal and make a decision for themselves. If you are willing to give it a little time and/or money, whichever you CHOOSE, and be optimistic and hard working, this might be the opportunity for you. However, if you are a pessimist and or lazy and unwilling to put time and effort into it, you don't belong in any work at home venture of any kind!

Sometimes people just "dont get it"
AUTHOR: Marker08 - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, June 22, 2008
Mr. New Jersey
My name is Mark. I am having difficulty following exactly where you went wrong which drove you to this malicious posting. After reading the entire thread this is what I've come up with, maybe I can shed some light.
A little about myself and my recent experience. I joined PIP's after a few months of trying "other programs" By no means did I have the knowledge to take affiliate marketing head on. So, for myself PIP's worked exceptional well. Now that I have been a pipsite supporter for a little over a month, this is where I stand.
Obviously you haven't developed your own personal website, so as for as i'm concerned you saved thousands of dollars and countless hours when you received the pip's site, and yes it IS free. You must be talking about the hosting, which you said yourself was legit according to your creditcard company. Did you not get $25 dollars back after signing up desposited into your paypal account???? maybe paypal scammed you??As for myself I recieved the $25 so I guess my 1st month's hosting was free also.
So with that being said we move on, I read the 30day training COMPLETELY, I'm sorry I'm not a mindless monkey and didn't do eveything nor purchase everything as I went along. Maybe because somewhere in the first few pages it said that I could go at MY pace and that I didn't have to DO everything in the training. Yes you got it I opted for all the free stuff to get rolling, and then on to optimizing for search engines, posting, and bloging. All of which I learned in the "worthless guides" and "crappy e-books." There is nothing difficult about all of this! Maybe you missed something in there? Maybe you missed the websites that advertise "give me 20 bucks and we'll make you a million"
Somewhere in all of the so-called programs that you signed up to (for free) that make Stone so much money, are more courses or training on how to benefit from each and every one of them. Maybe just maybe GET an education. I think the theme behind those courses is a little different than the website you missed. More like "invest 20 bucks and LEARN how to make YOURSELF a million"
In my oppinion maybe you missed your calling, I think you would make a better critic, only you need to have an understanding of how that all works. And I'd suggest an editor that makes sure your facts are all straight. You completely missed the point to the pip's site in its entirety. It works perfectly for my needs, a novice marketer.
As far as you warrior forum comments, I couldnt agree with you more, those people they call themselves warriors, some of them even gurus, or sucessful. WAKE up Jersey do a little research on the warrior forum!!!!! If you are right then its the largest marketer forum on the internet (but also the greatest B.S. scam to boot!) I can't beleive that ALL those people (thousands) would come out and attack you for slandering the program that they put the effort into and made sucessful. What I can tell you is that each and every one of them help me when I have questions, and would love to see me suceed right along side with them!
So from what I gather you purchased the pips site, marketed it to the hilt, bought 100's of 1000's email lists, built you opt in lists, did all the free advertising, and every kind of paid advert know to man, upgraded your site, blogged, posted articles, optimized everypage, submitted to every search engine and then some, but it just did not work for you. It must be a scam!
Let me say this so you understand perfectly Jersey, I read everything, only I understood it and implemented most of it. Almost like it was a business or a second job....hmmmmmmm go figure work? I got all the free stuff, webpage included, advertising, teaching, etc. Then I did something that's also in the training, I made it my own, modified it, personalized it we will say, if you dont agree with the pips programs or its promotions move them and add WHATEVER you want to promote. The possibilities are endless much like you failures until you change your attitude.
I Hope you find peace in something

I'm an internet marketing newbie and I had my doubts about the pluginprofit site. Anyone in business should show some skepticism in any venture he or she participates in. The comments this individual makes is obviously because he has not done any research on internet marketing or MLM. It takes money to make money. Thats just the way it is. To think that you can run a business and profit without investing time and money is obsurd. Of couse Stone Evans is going to profit from the eforts of his downline(duh!).
So far after researching the pluginprofit business in comparison to a host of others, I've concluded that the structure of it makes sense. I think that if marketed right, (there will be some trail and error of course) an individual can profit and learn form this business.

Hi,
Gorbarb said "
Come on, we are all adults and all know that you have to work for a living, short of being a trust funder or something.
Keep your money, perhaps invest in a few mutual funds weekly or monthly, work hard, don't go into debt, and someday retire with a few bucks to your name."
You obviously have no clue about how to make money.
Its the same crap tale our kids are taught in school "Study hard and get a good job for life..."
Hard work does not make you rich, investing and having a business does.
The highest tax is paid by workers, the lowest by investors.
You can grow old wondering why you're just getting by with your 401K but I prefer the latter, retiring not with a few bucks but RICH!

Hi,
After reading the ridiculous claims this person makes about Stone and his business I have several claims to refute:
"In order to get people to your website, Stone Evans and the PIPS community advocate the use of e-mail spamming"
He does not understand the email strategies Stone mentioned since he considers permission based optin email spam?!
"It's a sketchy "business" that costs hundreds if not thousands of dollars to purchase e-mail ("leads") lists, and bottom-line: it's illegal and just not worth it."
Hmm strange since I never seen Stone make a single suggestion to buy leads. Btw leads are people that opted in to receive information.
"Aside from that, nearly every link you can click on your web-site somehow will put more money in "Stone Evans'" pocket, making him richer, and the unknowing people he scams poorer."
This person obviously has no clue about how this business works. In order to help yourself you have to help others first. I help my downline in all the programs I am involved in. If i do not my downline dies and so will my income. Yes Stone makes money from other people through those links, you know how? By helping others and thats the way MLM works.
"..... leads are e-mail addresses from nothing more than people who rushed through a form on some random website..... if the website was lucky enough to get a valid phone number, the data is labeled "double opt-in"
Again he shows that he knows next to nothing about email marketing.
Thats not double optin, double optin means the user clicked on a confirmation link in a confirmation request sent to him by email after requesting information online.
In reply to his "VISA story" I have used VISA myself, they never called me or warned me about spurious transactions.
"No one I talked to in this forum was able to give me a straight out, honest answer as to whether they ever made ANY money under this system."
Oh, well how about $100 a month for doing nothing from just one program?
"I really don't feel like wasting anymore time on STONE EVANS, you've been WARNED!!!"
You are right, you should not waste your time on this because if you spread this much lies and misinformation then you should not be in internet marketing in the first place!

Whatever you look for,you will find

Again, this person is using a distorted version of the truth to write this vicious and unfair attack.
People come to the forum for advice and help and to share ideas.
Occasionally, they might have a problem with the system, or not understand something. There are two ways of communicating about this. Most of the time people ask for clarity, advice or guidance with something in a polite, balanced, unaggressive manner. In these cases they will receive replies that are helpful, honest and constructive. I have seen, time and time again, forum members who are extremely grateful and surprised by the amount of friendly help they receive from other forum members.
Then, there is the other way of communicating. They find or perceive something "wrong" with the system and instead of asking for clarity or help, choose to attack and lay blame. This does not happen very often, but when it does, of course it makes people angry - after all, we are human.
And why do people get angry? Because usually (100% of the time in my experience) the attack is unfair, unjustified and the manner of dealing with it aggressive. This kind of communication does get "jumped upon" - of course it does. We are defending what most of us, by experience, find to be a sound system. It's not perfect, but then what is?
People find what they look for. If you look for the negative, you will find it. If you look for the positive, you will find that too. Often people get one small blip so out of proportion, that it is all they can see, and they then cannot, or refuse to, see the amazing potential that is right in front of them.
I have been amazed and joyfully surprised by the amount of honesty, integrity, good will, helpfulness and friendliness within the forum. I have always been able to find constructive advice, encouragement and support. Questions always get answered. It's a community - and like any community, it will defend itself under unfair attack.

It's not all nonsense from a looser

It's almost sad how people jump on anyone who expresses a dislike for the Plug-In-Profit System. They do the same thing on the forum. If you go there and say that you are unhappy in anyway you will be quickly labeled as a person who hasn't worked hard enough, told to "get a life" and "get a clue", you can be called a liar, your not able to take responsibility, etc. etc. They will also make claim that you are given a free website and free training and that Stone Evans works hard to provide you with free tools. The sad truth is there are hundreds if not thousands who have worked hard and spent quite a bit of money promoting the opportunity but have never made a dime. many still promote it with the hope of making a living on the net but have very little to show for their efforts.
None of that means the system can't work but it isn't going to be easy or free. The sales page makes it look as if you will receive a ready made business that will put you in profit from the start. The 30 day training is pumped as a fast start training that will provide you with all the tools you need. Nothing could be further from the truth. The 30 day training is in fact a MLM plan that builds a profitable downline for the founder (Stone Evans) and referring members. Sadly the programs lack in the ability to perform and are nearly worthless. To make it you must search out your own marketing programs, ones that actually work for you and not the founder or someone else. With all the scams on the internet it is not an easy task to perform and it will cost you a lot of time and money. The reason I stated it can work is for those who have both the time and money to spend it can work for them.
I sincerely doubt the Plug-In-profit Site Opportunity would make anyone money if the sales page was more open and honest. Instead of selling the business as an easy money maker with all the tools you need included it told people how hard it actually is I doubt many would join. The simple truth to the program, it will take a long time and cost quite a bit of money before you see any real success. But, that is how almost all internet affiliate marketing businesses work. None of them are free or easy.
If you do join this opportunity do not spend a dime on any programs except the hosting at first. Try all the free stuff and join the free programs then see if it works for you. Then and only then slowly invest in what is producing the most for you.

I joined pluginprofit a few months ago I have to say that I did do this by my own free will.
After joining as promised in the offer I got my free site, and even as a newish internet user did realize I would need a host program!
Yes I join Host for Profit.I can not see any problem there as I had looked at other programs and have found them very reasonable really. And have had no problems with the site.
I live in Australia and find the forum up and running 100% of the time. The support I have received for Stone and his help desk is better than any other program I have ever been involved with.
I was NEVER asked to spend any money. Things were presented to me as possible choices, which as a fully sane person I made.
I decided not to join most of it at the start and take it slowley that was my option.
I am sorry that your mystery person did not manage to make a go of the program but I must congratulate him on the amount of publicity he has given myself and all my friends in Plug in Profit.

The only way these kind of "at-home business" things work for the scammer, is because of the greed of the victim.
Con-men can't profit without the victim in some way being compliant.
There is not ONE of these things that is a legitimate business, other than getting suckers to send them money.
There is a good reason for all of the old sayings: If it seems to good to be true it is! they are true!!!!!

I have just joined pluginprofitsite and spent money on advertisng to promote my website which was set up for Stone Evans. I can understand Andrew's angst and by going to the warrior forum to read comments it would appear to me that a number are paying for advertising that leads no where. I am still to test the effectiveness of Empowerism and recommended advertising.
I have to say that I am of two minds regarding pluginprofitsite and have not had enough experience yet to say whether or not it is a ripoff. I hope to God it is not. However I also have to say that Andrew's comments seem to be way off the mark. I have not been told that I have to buy leads or any form of advertising. I have chosen to do this after recommendations made in the "30 Day to Success" ebook and am fully aware that there are a number of ways in which I can promote my website for free. I have also found that the warrior forum provides a lot of useful information and the posters appear genuine. It is a mixture of postive and negative comments.
I came to the ripoff report to see if there were any postings and find only one by someone who is that devestated by his experience that he becomes irrational. Not everone will succeed in business. I am aware that SFI has a very good reputation with BBB and a number of other resources used are also reputable, such as getresponse.
Patricia is the support peron and she seems to have a very high regard for Stone Evans and therefore one might have to be careful about taking her rebuttal comments too seriously. Although she is very helpful and appears to be genuine. Nevertheless she is still very much an insider.
What I would recommend to anyone considering PIPS is to do so. The program and support appear to be strong. Certainly paying $25.00 per month for a webste is a low investment for a business, especially when one considers the education and resources provided by PIPS and associated programs. However I would carefully research the viability of the business, ask questions and be careful about initally putting too much money into advertising until you have tested the water.

There's Always One Failed Person Not Wishing To Take Responsibility

What's the saying "Bad Workmen Always Blame Their Own Tools." I've just stumbled across this report on PlugInProfit, and in particular the harsh and very untrue remarks made toward Stone Evans the originator of the Program. Let me be perfectly frank. I am a PlugInProfit Member of over a year's standing, having seen a promotion from one of it's members. The principle attracted me, so I enrolled in the required programs, and was duly handed my new site. I didn't join the program under Stone Evans. I joined under another paticipant.
As far as I can see that gives no financial reward to Stone Evans, yet he put a business in my lap for $54.90. I have the receipts and that was the cost. I had other Internet Businesses running, and still do, so this was never a major part of my activities. I have paid considerable sums for web sites to be created, but never have I been handed a business that contained so many tried and tested, not to mention respected business as this programme offered. I have found the support and information excellent and have used it to great sucess in my other endeavours.
Every Marketer I know, uses lead generation to promote his/her products and that is the same whether you're Internet based or the local High Street curtain maker. So I fail to see the point that this person Andrew is trying to make. Except, of course that he wasn't able to make it work.
Trying to justify one's failure by blaming everything and everyone else is a common phenomenon, and unfortunately people do resort to truth exageration to support their claims. Nothing of what I read from his accusations bore any resemblence to what I know to be fact. Rodney - Las Vegas. USA

The assertion the PIPs users are advocates of spamming is preposterous. As stated the 30 day book is suggestions not requirements. I have never bought a lead and do very well thank you very much.
And to state he could not find anyone making any money in the Warrior forum must not have read too many threads, there are 100s of members who do very well, very well known names in the Internet Marketing industry are present and willing to help anyone who wants it.
Yes it cost money to make money and if you (Andrew) can show me a business with no investment and time, I am all ears.

If you had a clue, you would know that just about any marketing campaign, be it off or online, requires A mailing list - contacts - prospects. Starting and growing a business does take some money invested, AS WELL AS TIME. Facts of life. Unfortunate but true.
If you know of a better way to market something, why don't you tell us? The suggestions in the '30 Days to Success' (FREE) e-book are just that. Suggestions. A loose guide to help you formulate a plan. An overview of how Stone may have found his success AS AN AFFILIATE HIMSELF.
It is clear from your original post that you didn't even give it any time. Were you looking for an overnight miracle? No work, no investment, just money pouring in? Keep your day job.
It's fine that you couldn't relate to it. But to come here and try to trash a very good person and the sincere efforts of all the people who are willing to invest their time and money into a REAL BUSINESS, just because you didn't happen to think it sounded good right off the top, is pretty mean. AND I remind you again, VERY LIBELOUS.
I would be the first one to file a report on a scam artist, but you better be sure of your accusations - have documented proof that you were ripped off, before you spout off. I'm sure you didn't think it through about all the possible consequences to innocent people before you wrote it. I wonder how much damage you have done to all of us...
One side of me wants to forgive you, and hope you will find something that makes you happy. The other side says 'get a life'

This System Does NOT Require Purchases of Any Lists
AUTHOR: Virginia - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 04, 2005
I am also an affiliate of PIPS (PlugInProfitSite). I don't know where this person got his information, but he is totally wrong about this program. I will leave his original post alone because Patricia and Larry pretty much took care of that. I am just responding to his latest remark.
This system does NOT - I Repeat NOT - require you to purchase bulk email lists. It does not REQUIRE you to purchase leads at all. Anything you purchase after you join all the programs is totally up to you. There are many suggestions in the ebook and at any marketing website out there on what you COULD do to promote your business. To not make these suggestions would be negligant on the part of the business owner, but it is NOT a requirement or something you have to do. Nowhere in Stone's books or website does it say "You must do such-n-such or your membership will be revoked".
You would be hard pressed to find even a few people on the internet as honest and helpful as Stone Evans. This man works non-stop to make sure everything in his program is legal and able to be done by anyone out there with an HONEST desire to make money on the internet. If you are out there just to find things to complain about, you can do that about any company on the planet. You can put your own twist on any information if you are good enough with words and make people believe the best company in the world should be shut down. That doesn't make it true. This program in not a pyramid scheme, it is not illegal and it is far from a rip off! You get everything he promises you you will get - and much more. What you do with it is up to you. Stone can't make the money for you - you have to make it yourself. I guess that is why this person is so upset. He didn't turn an instant profit.

There was nothing untrue about what I reported during my personal experience with Pluginprofit. never categorized it as a "Get rich quick scheme"--I analyzed the system in its entirety.
As for the the $20-90 a month, several links in the "30 Days to Success" (an interesting title, especially for a system that's not meant to be referred to as "get rich quick") linked off to leads websites that the guide considered necessary in your success. Leads packages cost anywhere from $20-90 and MORE, and were recommended to be purchased monthly. Had I known this system required the purchasing of bulk email lists, I would have opted not to take part--one of the details given only AFTER your initial sign-up.

PluginProfitsite-The Best of the Best
AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, July 01, 2005
Being part of PluginProfitsite I could not let this stand without saying something. I'll just state the truth.
We are against spamming in any form. In the forum you will see the use of List builders where the person signing up for more information knows what they are asking for and all email has a removal link at the end just in case it wasn't what they thought.
As for every link making Stone more money. No where does it say you must join under him or anybody else. You must sign up for the programs in the site he will put on line for you. There is a Demo site to show you what you get. Not a site like his but, one for you to start with. Your own site for you to change any way you want.
Now the cost will vary, to be online you must have hosting. We use Host4Profit.(required) You must have a domain name. He offers you a place to buy one, you don't have to buy from him. Get it anywhere you want. Sfi, Trafficswarm, IMC are all free to join. The other required program is Empowerism ($20).
For the ebook, you download from my site you get my links. Anybody online knows how branding works.
It's a plan for you to follow to get you going in your new business.
The community is there to help. I often give out free advice I could sell else where and receive same. Ask a question, get an answer. Want to know how much money I make, I will not even take the time to tell you "it's none of your business".
Pluginprofitsite is not a get rich quick scheme like this IDIOT wrote about. It's a business you will have to work to make work. He didn't even look hard enough to see what he would be selling. How about some cleaning products, want a cell phone and service. Plus many more products.
I think I've said enough. Like any opportunity it's up to you to make the best out of it. Nobody will do it for you.

I am an affiliate of Plug-in-Profit-Site, have a website created by Stone Evans, and am a member of the Warrior Forum - all for 1 year.
Just about every statement this person made is false. I notice he doesn't even sign his name.
I have recently paid $2500 for 2 websites, so why shouldn't Stone Evans make any money when you join any associated affiliate programs, when he is giving you a FREE website, and many, many other benefits necessary to start an internet business FOR FREE, including tecnical support, extensive, pre-written, and excellent sales copy, and mentoring via the Forum.
We absolutely do not participate in or condone SPAM and as a matter of fact, have strict regulations and guidelines imposed by the associated autoresponder. We are completely CANNSPAM compliant. Who would be stupid enough not to be in this day and age when you can have your domain shut down? No one detests spam more than I do.
It is true the one requirement to getting the free website is that you pay for hosting at Host4Profit. $24.95 per month. This is partly so that Stone can maintain your site and do upgrades easily. Hosting is different from having a website designed for you.
So the website is still free. It is also true that if you get only 2.5 people to get the free website, you have paid for your hosting. Extremely good deal with a stellar company.
It is also true that you are required to join one other company, and it is a reputable and long-standing company, Empowerism. That costs approximately $25. the first month, and $19.95 for subsequent months. You get free leads, an autoresponder, pre-written ad copy, and valuable self-empowerment instruction.
So where does he get from $10-$90? I'll tell you where - in his evil, malcontent, and malicious mind. I hope he gets sued for libel.
Plug-in-Profit does not sell leads of any kind. I have to agree that the quality of some of the leads that are purchased are debatable. This has nothing to do with Plug-in-Profit.
You will not find a more personable, honest and intelligent, regular person, who is just trying to make an honest living, than Stone Evans.

Thank you.
