The following letter is what I wrote to Ms Dianne Hassemer of customer relations. This is the contact person they give if you are unhappy. I am sure there are people out there that benefit from this company but if you need help finding a job look around and listen closely to what is promised.

Allen and Associates
2600 Lake Lucien Drive, Suite 410
Maitland, FL 32707
(866) 953-8800 (x706)
(407) 475-5501 (FAX)

Dear Ms. Dianne Hassemer of Customer Relations,

I am writing to you because the process of my campaign has been very disappointing. I was charged up front for service that were not completed when I was told that my credit card would be charged at least a week in half apart in equal portions of $550, the charge occurred with in two days of each other resulting in being charged fully before I had my documents.

In my company research from Allen and Associates I have requested certain manufacturing companies to be pulled nation wide to only receive store locations in my state of CA. The tactic of giving 500 companies is false, these are not companies they are store location that are unable to provide the salary I was promised of 100K by Mr. Woodard. The list is then down sized to 100 of which the research staff will try to find the headquarters resulting in a deduction of a possible 30-40% not being useful leaving roughly 50-60% this being explained to me by my campaign manager . The User Agreement states Dun & Bradstreet is used to find the company locations and CEO's, out of the 100 roughly 85% is used this percentage is misleading after their elimination process of the 100 the percentage ends up being is far less.

This is not what was promised to me by my sales agent Alonzo L. Woodard. He assured me that I would be considered for a position and with my credentials a company would even create a position for me, misleading promises. He also stated that I was recommended to them and he could see I was a great candidate for their program, he had not even seen my resume but had heard great things and asked for me to email him a resume. I asked him several times if he was sure I would be able to obtain a position in the 100K range, he assured me that I would be able to. Mr. Woodard told me a total of 100 letters are sent out, not that the list is downsized and only what is left sent out of the 100.

I have contacted professional writers to review my Allen and Associates resume and was informed it lacked direction and was not of quality that a company would give a second look at of which I have documentation stating this. I was promised a killer resume and broadcast letter, a letter that will only be sent out to a possible 50 companies.

I have highlighted the Agreement from the website and have pointed three items.
(1) Key decision makers are more easily obtained if InfoUSA is used to make the client weed through store locations is a waste of time and misleading, customer are being told they are weeding out companies not stores.

(2) 85% accurate Dun and Bradstreet is a great resource, however you can not even promises 85% due to the fact that the store locations you are providing may not even be in Dun & Bradstreet and they are not in the position to offer the $100,000 Mr. Woodward promised.

(3) In addition, you also understand that the administrative charge stated on the Job Search Program sheet is non-refundable I have not been given this sheet or informed of this. I asked if I would to be disappointed with the process what would happen and I was told I would not be unhappy and would have a position within a month. I asked for a current client to speak with for their success story of which was never sent to me.

I realize there has been some work involved and even though I am not happy I am willing to negotiate a reasonable fee for service rendered. I am not willing to accept the 25% of the total $1100 offered in the agreement. The rate for resume writing is $250 this is reasonable and fair seeing that the only thing the writers did was rearrange what was written on the original resume. The current resume even has misspelled words.

I am not willing to accept any other offer and have taken the steps of contacting the Better Business Bureau located in Texas and Florida, of which has negative reports already against Allen and Associates. I have also contacted my credit card company and they will take the necessary steps to dispute the charge from Allen and Associates. In Florida there is a television station with a program Call to Action which has been contacted and are looking into the case.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

Amercian Express to the rescue

AUTHOR: Colleen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 11, 2006

This is to advise the public if they have charged the services of Allen and Associates to American Express then you are in good hands. Ms Hassemer tried her best to convince AE that I had difficulties with understanding that I was not going to receive a refund because of reporting them on RipOffReports.com and my to the point letters. A representative from AE went to work to resolve my complaint against Allen and Associates and refunded me my money. Ms Hassemer never won and to this day I think she lives in a fantasy world that AE took her side. Now that is fair.

So take note and use AE they stand behind you.

Allen and associates follow up - Their representative Dianne Hassemer is passionate employee however her passion is to save her company money not to help the customer.

AUTHOR: Colleen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 07, 2005

The company Allen and Associates is a company under the umbrella Workstream. They claim to help the unemployed become employed through the process of designing a resume and cover letter and then sending it out to 100 companies. Their resume and broadcast letter writing claims to be by certified CPRW a claim undeserving by the work they had done for me. The 100 companies they claim to provide is an ordeal for the customer to twiddle down out of 500 possible names including such, store locations not companies. They lack professionalism and follow through.

Their representative Dianne Hassemer is passionate employee however her passion is to save her company money not to help the customer. Her calls all hours of the day even when she was told I would not be home were persistent and took valuable time away from my family. She claims to have given free services to keep clients and yet none were offered to me, just persistent phone calls.

I have received confirmation from them as of today 6-7-05 that will only refund my money of $275 as to the User Agreement. I offered in my letter above that I would pay for service performed of the resume writing and braodcast letter, however I will not pay for services never completed. This company is unfair and does not work the customer they only want to keep the customer even if they are unhappy.

Ms Hassemer demanded I remove my posting on this website I offered to do so if Allen and Associates would refund me the amount I requested of $850. They sent me a letter in retaliation and informed me they refunded me a total of $275 as to the User Agreement. This is not accommodating to me and I have taken steps with my credit card company and will continue to fight them with whatever possible means until they have refunded me my money.
