Awful experience with Wells Fargo. Multiple times something as simple as a deposit was completely messed up leading to unpaid bills because I had to rearrange finances so I could pay my bills.
And after informing the bank of their mistake, they refused to do anything about it and refused all responsibility as well. Their first reponse was "we encourage you to check your statement". Their right, my apologies, it's not like it is their job to make sure their doing it right or anything like that. Yes, always check your statements customers but when a bank makes a mistake (three freaking times! & theres ample documentation of these mistakes) and their first action is to point the finger at you-that is a problem.
Further, I decided to try Bill Pay with Wells Fargo, so much for five business days-try ten business days later and a late fee assessed to my rent because of it. They don't have to pay the late fee, I do. Again, did they care? Well, shockingly they couldn't give a flying...about it.
Basically, Wells Fargo has awful customer service when you need it the most. They will be kind as long as it is a simple, easy, daily business interaction. But the moment they make a mistake they are awful, rude, deflective and lack all sense of accountability to their customers.
On top of it all, they have blown up my cell phone trying to get me to sign up for a credit card I already told them I'm not interested in.
In not so many words-I'm getting a new bank who actually values their customers. It should be a refreshing change in comparison to Wells Fargo.

Sounds like the only mistake...

If there are any mistakes being made it sounds like they are all on your end.
First of all how on ONE deposit slip did you put multiple accounts? Your deposit slip has space for one account number and your Checking and Savings Accounts have different numbers. You can't just write a little note to the teller to say how to split it, it just doesn't work that way. So not exactly sure what you were trying to do.
You also don't say how you deposited this. If this was done by an ATM that would explain why this is happening. Just like the deposit slip the ATM has the ability to deposit an amount in ONE account at a time. You can not figure that a person is going to read your deposit slip after the fact and adjust the account..after all the first letter in ATM is A for AUTOMATED. If you did this at a teller, the question is why didn't you verify the deposits before you left? Especially if this happened multiple times.
What you SHOULD be doing, regardless of the bank, is if you want to deposit a check into multiple accounts is to deposit it into one account and then transfer the funds to the other. So in your case most likely make your deposit into Checking and then once the check posts do a transfer a certain amount into Savings. If for some reason you are trying to deposit cash, you need to do 2 transactions with 2 deposit slips. One slip and transaction for your Checking, one slip and transaction for your Savings. Yes, this may actually require you to take responsibility over your account, but then again it is your money isn't it?

Multiple times- I would fill out a deposit slip. One distinctly putting a specific amount in checking and another amount in savings. & Multiple times they would switched the amounts with checking and savings or entirely ignore my deposit slips and put the entire amount I was deposited in either account depending on the day.

The one thing you failed to mention in this entire report is what was the mistake you say they made with your deposit?
