We purchased 2 sheepadoodle puppies from Randy Ellison (Old English Sheepdog, Standard poodle). They were supposed to be 8 weeks old yet these 'large breed puppies' only weighed 3 lbs and were EXTREMELY emaciated, underweight and malnourished, per our vet. (And per anyone who touched or held them).
The puppies were given a medication called Albon, they said 'for stress' when in fact it is for a parasitic diarrheal disease caused by overcrowding and unsanitary conditions. The puppies have explosive diarrhea and it is not healed by this medication, as they severely underdosed the medication.
Shame on their veterinarian, Haskell Veterinarian and Dr James Gober for writing a certificate of health for these malnourished, emaciated puppies. Apparently his greed for Mr. Ellison's business makes him overlook the true neglectful state of these puppies.
Since this purchase, we have done research and have come to find that Randy Ellison operates a huge breeding kennel with over 100 dogs that live in cages. They are fed a very poor quality, cheap adult dog food called Retriever. ADULT dog food to puppies and nursing/pregnant mothers! Selling puppies for $1000 and cutting corners; making higher profits by feeding low quality food is neglectful and greedy!!!
IN conclusion, BE WARNED.... DO NOT buy a puppy from Randy Ellison and his sheepadoodle factory in Aspermont, Texas!!! If you do, you will regret it. Yes, you will get a cute puppy. A cute, sick, emaciated puppy that you will likely have to spend hundreds of dollars on to get to a proper weight and state of health!!!

Received the sweetest puppy from Mesquite Mountain Doodles
AUTHOR: Helen - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Friday, December 15, 2017
5 weeks ago we purchased our puppy from Mesquite Mountain Doodles. Walnut as we named him, was by far the best puppy we’ve ever owned. He was clearly well taken care of and well socialized. He was friendly to all other dogs and people, he had one accident in the house his first night and then learned to use the dog door when we had to go to the bathroom. We couldn’t have asked for a better pup. When we first got him we took him to the vet and told them he was on Albon before they gave him any shots and they told us that was great because they would’ve prescribed Albon to him regardless.
They said it’s very common for puppies and it’s better to be safe than sorry. This is our first sheepadoodle so keep in mind we had no idea what to expect with this puppy. But we asked if he needed to eat extra because we could feel some of his bones. The vet assured us that this was perfectly normal in large breed pups and that he will fill out as he gets older. And he was right! A few weeks later and Wally grew into his clumsy legs and tall body. A few days ago our sweet puppy passed away.
We took for granted how good he was when we didn’t leave him in the crate and he fell into our pool while we were at work. My husband said that if we were to try again with another puppy it would only be with Mesquite Mountain Doodles. We spoke to Randy’s assistant on the phone and she was so understanding with the situation. If you are looking for a sheepadoodle or a labradoodle of your own, rest assured that any pup from MM Doodles is going to be the sweetest and happiest pup you’ll ever meet. Our friends bought Wally’s brother and he is the exact same. Healthy, sweet and happy.

Report on Randy Ellison Mesquite Mountain Doodles Untrue
AUTHOR: asunnyweb - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, December 23, 2016
I received a sheepadoodle puppy from Mesquite Mountain Doodles & Randy Ellison on May 22, 2016. My puppy was born on March 8, 2016, so was clearly not underage. She was healthy & perfect & has had zero health problems at almost 10 months. She was not underweight or malnourished. She came with a week's worth of the food she was currently eating & instructions to get best food possible in my area for the future. She has been the best dog I have ever owned so far & I cannot wait to get another puppy from him in the near future. She is currently almost 10 months old. The day that we received her we noticed she was already sitting upon command & for her food & was even almost puppy pad trained. Both of these are indications that puppies had lots of human interaction & are well treated. I will have complete confidence when I order another puppy from him. He has provided everything he promised & asked to receive pictures & updates on my puppy regularly. She is intelligent, calm & has an excellent personality. She is beginning to be trained as my personal service dog. I cannot wait until I am able to place an order for a second puppy so she'll have someone to play with. If I had any doubts on the quality of puppy provided I would not purchase another puppy from him. That's not the case. I'm fully confident in my past & future purchases.

Puppy was heathly without any issues- 9/2016

First i would like to make a comment that breeding puppies is a tough task, and keeping them all 100% healthy is even tougher. Any breeder (even the most expensive) has, at one point, accidentally sold a puppy who turned to be unhealthy. Luckily, thats why breeders have 1 year guarantees, etc.
I was searching for a good poodlee mix breeder and had SEVERAL people tell me about mequite mountain doodles. Everyone was very happy with the Ellisons and with their puppy.
I purchased a sheepdog/poodle mix from mesquite mountain doodles and my puppy has been VERY healthy. I met with the Ellison's to pick up my puppy. They were nice and accomodating. Mr. Ellison made sure that I had everything I needed for the ride home and for the first week with my puppy.
My dog is 6 months old now. He hasnt had any issues at all. Actually, my vet commented on how well he looked when i first brought him in.
DONT let this one guy change your mind. Like I said previously, sometimes theres a sick puppy in the bunch. Its not uncommon.
Thanks

Report about Randy Ellison and MM Doodles is not true
AUTHOR: Ron - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, February 21, 2016
A week ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and taking possession of two sheepadoodles from Mesquite Mountain Kennels. I had originally contracted to purchase a male sheepadoodle from Randy Ellison. Prior to the date when the dog would be available, I was able to do a little research about him and his dogs. I contacted other individuals that had previously purchased sheepadoodle puppies from him. Because of the claimed rip off report, I decided to determine if I had made a good decision of going with Randy and MM Doodles. The individuals I contacted not only were very pleased with the quality of dog purchased, but stated they would not hesitate to purchase another dog from him. Based on these recommendations, I added another dog (female) to my order.
One week ago,, I met Randy in Texas and took possession of both dogs. To say that I am happy with the quality of the dogs would be an understatement. these two dogs are healthy, alert, and an absolute joy to be around. We are well on our way to house breaking. They eat well and exhibit no signs of any type that would cause me concern. They are already sleeping thru the night and learning to go "make poop" at one location on my property. Their play activity is vigorous and they enjoy interacting with people and other pets. About the only thing they do not enjoy is the daily brushing we give them. Both would rather take the brush and chew on it rather than sit still for a grooming.
The long and short of this is that I would HIGHLY recommend Randy and MM Doodles if you are thinking of purchasing a Sheepadoodle. As far as I can tell he not only has the best prices, he has the best and largest selection. Do not let the misinformation in the RIP OFF Report influence you in any way. These puppies are wonderful.

The Complaint against Randy Ellison is not true!
AUTHOR: Ms. Miranda - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, February 05, 2016
Hello everyone, we bought our first sheepadoodle puppy from Randy Ellison and just recieved the puppy and picked him up from the San Francisco Cargo today!!! The puppy is happy, healthy and clean. He was not underweight and unhealthy as to what the complaint reported about. He is a gorgeous, clean, healthy, heavy, and a big boy, the pup so sweet and has a great demeanor!!! Our puppy has a healthy appetite. He came on the exact dated Randy promised on his Ad and came with med records, instructions and food.
We are dog lovers and can tell if there is something wrong with the pup. We can tell if the pup came from a good home or not, and we strongly believe this pup came from a loving and clean home!!! Our pup we got from Randy Ellison is very very happy, healthy and very well taken care of when we received him!!! I have never personally spoken to him nor met him personally before, but his secretary is available and is a real person you can speak to and ask questions if you need to. Randy is very responsive to my emails and updates me promptly.
Also, Randy has been absolutely professional and patient with us, as we orginally picked out a puppy from one litter, made our non-refundable deposit and then asked to switch the pup to a different litter, which he was not obligated to do, but he did it anyway.
Whomever made the complaint is bogus and probably has a personal vindeda. I personally believe Mr. Ellison to be an honest breeder, one you can trust. I will be referring him to my friends and family and anyone who asks about our puppy, to get one from him!

Setting the Record Straight

I never thought I would have to defend my reputation from someone who tried to blackmail me.
I raise gorgeous, happy, and healthy Sheepadoodle and Labradoodle puppies. However, you can see by reading the above report, someone is trying to make me look like some kind of monster. I assure you that is not the case.
I am licensed and regulated by the State of Texas and my farm complies with all their guidelines. I invite everyone who is interested in one of my puppies to visit my home to see firsthand that I love and take excellent care of my dogs.
This report is concerning a lady trying to blackmail me.
On May 16, 2014, I delivered "4" beautiful, healthy Sheepadoodle puppies and "2" rescued Great Pyrenees/Olde English Sheepdog mixes to Tori Greer of Weatherford, Texas. On May 17th, another lady called me on the phone claiming to be her sister complaining about only "2" of the puppies. I told her that if she was not happy with them, I would take all the puppies back and refund her money if full. That is not what she wanted. She wanted me to refund her money and keep the puppies. I didn't think that was fair so she wrote this report.
Here is my response to the false claims within the report that was filed above. I have documentation for all statements made.
"We purchased 2 Sheepadoodle puppies"-
They actually purchased "4" Sheepadoodle puppies (Cadbury, Bunny, Nana & Reny) and 2 half Olde English Sheepdog and half GP (Half Pint & Tiny) for their goat farm. Why would only 2 of the 6 puppies be so sick???
"Supposed to be 8 weeks old"-
I register all my puppies with American Canine Association so I have detailed records of their dates of birth and the dates they were delivered to their new families. These puppies were born on March 17th and were 8 weeks old on May 12th. The puppies were delivered to their new family on May 16th making them over 8 weeks of age at the time of delivery.
"only weighted 3 lbs"-
On May 15th, two days prior to delivery, the puppies had their final exam and received Certificates of Health from my licensed veterinarian. I have copies of the Certificates that were issued showing the weight of the 4 Sheepadoodle puppies. They are as follows: Cadbury - 5.6 lbs, Bunny - 5.9 lbs, Nana - 4.8 lbs, and Reny 5.3 lbs. None of the puppies weighted only 3 pounds.
"Extremely emaciated, underweight, and malnourished, per our vet" -
If the puppies were in such a condition, my veterinarian would have never issued them a "Certificate of Health". To date, they have not provided copies of any veterinarian records even though I have requested them more than once. Therefore, I have no proof that the puppies were ever seen by a veterinarian.
"Albon, they said "for stress" -
I did not tell them that Albon was for stress. Albon is for the treatment of Coccidia which is a single cell organism in the lining of the intestinal tract. All dogs have Coccidia in the lining of their intestinal tract. What causes an outbreak of Coccidia is stress, as from moving, travel, and weather changes. Therefore, I always send Albon home with my puppies to prevent an outbreak of Coccidia. Below is exactly what they received with the Albon in their paperwork......
"Even though you puppy's stool test was negative, I am sending 10 days of Albon with your puppy because one of his/her litter mates tested positiive for Coccidia. Coccidia is very common in puppies. An outbreak is usually caused by stress. Stress for a puppy could be just completing between litter mates. However, there are three major times in a puppy's life when they are stressed. They are weaning, loss of litter mates, and relocation. You are dealing with two of these stressful time in your puppy's life. Albon also helps them adjust to all the changes going on in their little life.
"overcrowding and unsanitary conditions" -
My kennels are 20 feet wide and 60 feet long with an attached 10x20 building. These kennels are cleaned daily. Therefore, the statement concerning overcrowded and unsanitary does not apply.
"explosive diarrhea" -
While in my care the puppy's stool was firm with no signs of diarrhea. How it became explosive in less then 14 hours, I have no idea because I have not be provided any veterinarian records. However, during transition to a new home, loose stool or diarrhea is normal. Just changing dog food brands can cause loose stool or diarrhea. This is explained within my Transition Information which is provided to all the families that receive one of my puppies. Below is exactly what they were told about the transition period.
Please plan on a 5-day transition period to your home. Loose stool/diarrhea is normal, so keep the puppy off your carpet. Please use your crate, as this will help you get your puppy outside to begin its house training!! Puppies are not ready for housetraining until around 13 weeks of age, so monitor your puppy's routine for crating, sleeping, eating, drinking, playing, and going potty! Feel free to contact me for the explanation on how to do this, and the benefits of crate training.
"Severely under dosed the medication" -
The dose of Albon is regulated by the weight of the dog or puppy receiving the medication. My Veterinarian researched the dose required for the puppies against their weight on their Certificates of Health. They did not receive a severe under dose of medication. If anything, they received more then the required dose.
"Shame on their Veterinarian" -
My Veterinarian has been informed of this posting and will be contacting Tori Greer personally concerning the statements directed towards him and his practice.
"100 dogs that live in cages" -
I do not or have I ever owned 100 dogs. At my last state inspection, I only had 28 dogs listed some of which are spayed or neutered. I do not just own the parents to my puppies but I also own their grandparents. My dogs do not live in cages. All my dogs are housed in runs that are 20x60 with an attached 10x20 building. Therefore, their total living space is a 20 foot wide by 70 foot long. One of the men that helped build my runs told me that they were bigger than his entire house. Again, my dogs do not live in cages.
"Selling puppies for $1000" -
I have never placed any of my puppies for $1000. In fact, they only paid $700 for the puppies they received.
After finding this report, I did some investigating for my own. Here is what I found out concerning Tori Greer and her daughter, Micah Dawn Thompson, who posted this report.
First and foremost, I found out that they did not purchase these puppies for their "goat farm". They purchased these puppies to resale them for a profit on the Internet. I found ads for my puppies on ebayclassifieds.com and weatherford-tx.americanlisted.com/76085 under the name of Sunshine Doodles located in Fort Worth for the placement fee of $1,500. I also found an ad on Adopt a Pet adoptapet.com under a rescue called Ark of Mercy agctexas.org/# listing one of the Olde English Sheepdog/GP mixed puppy, Half Pint under the name of "Isabella". All of my puppies come with an Adoption Contract that states....... "This adoption is for the life of the puppy. This puppy cannot be resold or placed with another family without notifying the seller prior to relocation."
Tori Greer and Micah Dawn Thompson are breeders of Sheepadoodles, Goldendoodles, and Siberian Cats but when necessary claim to be a rescue. They operate under the names of All God's Creatures-Weatherford, Ark of Mercy, Sunshine Doodles, and Sunshine Sheepadoodles.
When they purchaed the puppies, the address they provided for my records was 502 N. Main, Weatherford, TX 76086. This is actually "Box & Go Shipping". However, I was able to obtain their real location. This information was provided by Paypal which is why I always use their service. Paypal protects both parties involved in a transaction. At this point, I had an Investigator visit their location.
The report I received from the Investigator was horrible!!!
The Investigator spoke with Tori Greer first who was busy packing up her home so that she could relocate to New Mexico. She said that her house was sold but that her daughter's house was still available. She claimed that her daughter ran a rescue which is why she had so many animals. When the Investigator spoke with her daughter, Micah Dawn Thompson, she was told she was a breeder and gave her a tour of the house and property. Only five of my puppies were located on this property.
Behind a 6 foot wooden fence was a maze of small wire cages housing cats, rabbits, parrots, chickens, and goats. Ms. Thompson told her that they were part of her breeding operation. She stated that she supported her family exclusively with the money she earned from this breeding facility.
There was a field behind the wooden fence which housed dogs of all ages. Adult dogs were running freely with puppies. It is against Texas State Rules and Regulations to allow an adult dog to be housed with puppies unless it is their mother. Four of my puppies were in this field. At that time, Ms. Thompson stated that she was the breeder of all the Sheepadoodle puppies.
In the back of the field were some wooden buildings with small pens that she said she used when she use to run a rescue. They were too far away to see if any animals were still in the pens.
There was another smaller field pen with dogs running around with ropes around their necks. Inside a white storage building was a White Standard Poodle with a litter of puppies in a 2x4 wire crate. The building was dirty and there was molded dog food on the floor.
There were two 5x5 kennels hidden behind some trees that housed more dogs. One of those dogs had a litter of Goldendoodle puppies. There were several dogs/puppies running freely on the property. They were covered in fleas and burrs. One of my puppies was running freely.
My Investigator was given promission by Ms.Thompson to take some pictures of the property except for her cages in her backyard behind the 6 foot wooden fence. She did obtain pictures of my puppies and the dogs housed in the fields.
During the investigation, only 5 of the 6 puppies I placed with Tori Greer and Micah Dawn Thompson were located.
I am deeply concerned about the welfare of the animals at this location. I will be conducting my own home visit this week to check on the welfare of my puppies. Home visits are also outlined in my Adoption Contract. It reads as follow...
"I further agree to provide my puppy with adequate food, water, and shelter. The seller has the right to visit my home no more than four times within the first 12 months of my puppy's life to confirm that I am providing this care."
The Investigator has filed complaints against Tori Greer and Micah Dawn Thompson with the following organizations: SPCA of Texas, Weatherford Animal Sheltor, Weatherford Police Department, Weatherford Animal Control, Human Society of North Texas, and Adopt a Pet.
I personally will be contacting the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
After all of this, I can't help but wonder.......how many other breeders have become victims of Tori Greer and her daughter, Micah Dawn Thompson.
This is my attempt to use my "Freedom of Speech".
