Recently the California Attorney General filed a major lawsuit ($25 million)...under Calif. Penal Code Section 327....against the company known as: YTB (Your Travel Business).
This company has a sales force (distributors) of more than 340,000 people. It claims to have an income of billions of dollars. However the main reasons that they were sued are-- LACK OF RETAIL SALES, including---
* Only approx. 15% of the income earned by YTB came from actual sales of the travel services. Most distributors are not earning as much as the cost of their distributor website ($49.95) every month.
* More than 200,000 members in 2007 paid more than $1,000 a year to set up online travel agencies, but only 38 percent of the company's members made any travel commissions...most of which were less than $100. per distributor.
* More than 70% of the income earned by YTB came from "sign up fees" -- and payments for other business & training services....not from sales.
* Most of the profits were being earned by a few people (at the top)--owners and managers of the program.

This lawsuit is on the record with the Attorney Gen. in Calif.
In addition, there is a "class-action" suit against YTB in the State of Illinois for approx. $100M.
Some people have reported to us that they have been pressured and harassed by some YTB reps...to join right away -- even in face of the lawsuits.

After doing much research on YTB, I've come to the conclusion that YTB is a SCAM, STAY AWAY. The way YTB runs their business is very similar to ACN. I've known several people who have been ripped off by ACN.
Some have tried to refe me to ACN but I knew better than to be RIPPED OFF. ACN and YTB would try to get people to refer their friends and family members, HOW LOW IS THAT? That's how they make most of their income.
MLM SCAM. YTB STAY AWAY.

There is no evidence of a ripoff here. You are simply stating that YTB is currently involved in a suit in California. YTB has not lost that suit. Also you do not state how you have been ripped off by YTB. I would challenge that you have not been ripped off by YTB in any way. I have been with YTB for almost 3 years now, and have not seen anything where YTB went against their word on anything, attempted to cheat someone, or did anything else deemed as unethical business practices.
