OK Friends (Fellow Victims)! Here some info for you!

1. WarrantyUSA filed Bankruptcy, December 2001

2. Allied Insurance (AI) was looking @ assuming responsibilities (outcome unknown). AI based in Singapore(?)

3. Consumers have banded together, class action law suit. Did you get your notifying papers? Deadline is upon us!

4. Searched for registered owner of www.warrantyusa.com:
Consumer Financial Services Group
2950 So Rancho Rd. Ste 100
Las Vegas NV 89102
206-441-4900
206-341-9216 (Fax)
Technical Contact: WebAdmin@wfpi.com

5. Registered owner of tech contact, www.wfpi.com:
Contact Email address: jcommon@IX.NETCOM.COM
John Common (said he was "President" verifying my bogus contract)
999 Third Avenue Suite 920
SEATTLE, WA 98104
206-441-4900
(By the way, netcom is owned by midspring.com. It's reputable!)

6. Searched near Seattle residences, John Common. Only one residence appeared on public phone record for the name John Common. (This may or may not be his personal residence, but it's certainly a convenient commute from near Olympia):
John Common
16th Ave SE,
Lacey, WA 98503
Thurston County, Olympia WA
360-459-5395

7. Checked Western Washington Better Business Bureau (BBB). A company registered with BBB is using Warranty USA under a different company name within blocks of John Common's 3rd Ave suite. This company (new upstart or fraud restart?):
Warranty & Financial Products Inc
1408 4th Ave #300
Seattle, WA 98101
Phone: (800)411-6004

8. Notice how closely the original toll free number matches the second company's toll-free number!
Original: 1-800-441-6004
Upstart: 1-800-411-6004

9. Consumer Financial Services Group in Las Vegas
(Don't be surprised if these are no longer in service:
Legal Dept.: 1-800-391-6911
Legal Dept.: 1-800-495-5315

10. There were Warranty Services reps. that I called frequently. Either they tried, but got nowhere, or they were part of the deception:
Audrey Santroy
Christiana Lucas
Sales Mgr.: 206-441-4900 x1004

11. Food for thought:
When I finally got a hold of Customer Services Director (?), she bragged that Consumer Finan. Svc. Group had just sent her to Singapore for business meetings there! Now you know where our money went. Isn't it ironic that we are now learning that terrorist organizations were funded by fraudulent USA operations that were based and directed, in part, in Phillipines, Singapore, & Thailand?

12. I smell a "Dateline" news expose'! Perhaps we need to get the media involved and shut down the other operation in Seattle (John Common's?) and alert the entire USA!

That's all for now. Sorry good honest people have to meet under these circumstances.

John is at it again this time with a loan modification company if you can call it that, out of Arizona. When is this scumbag going to stop? it just seems it just closes one place down after filing a BK and runs out to another state and open something else all the while keeping a database of all his old clients and trying to screw them again! Do not do business with this crook, research the companies you do business with. I worked with John in the past and it's always the same scam with this clown get a bunch of unqualified individuals who he trains to bully the poor people they contact and he'll push them and push them to do one thing "get their money"! then poof he's gone. Learn from everyone's mistake that you see on these pages and steer clear of this jerk. And if anyone is looking for him he's currently at 14000 N Pima Road, Suite 150
  Scottsdale Arizona 85260. Good luck

I am also a victim and in search of more information

AUTHOR: Haydee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 03, 2003

I am also a victim of WarrantyUSA. I went thru the process of filing a proof of claim form on 10/02. It's been one year, and I have not heard anything. The URL http://www.wrrantyusa.com says to visit URL for more updates. But, there haven't been any updates. Does anyone out there know what's going on? Are we ever going to get reimbursed? I purchased and paid the contract in full, months before they went bankrupt. So, I should get a full refund. Anxious for more information.

Thanks for your tips.

Employeres Ripped off worse than consumers

AUTHOR: Michael - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 14, 2003

My name is Mike Graca (My real name) And I worked for WUSA as a sales manager. First of all let me say Our pay checks were always late and always bounced.

Secondly it is true we were charged for medical and dental insurance and the policy premeums were not being paid by WUSA to the insurance co.Third I sold 2 policies to my father thinking I was doing a good thing, and because of what John Common (not his real name) has done, my father and I no longer talk to one another. (my ins. preim. alone was 176.00 per wk. for my family) I constantly was told to lie to my employees about pay checks and state of the company.

Also, we knew something was wrong at WUSA, (I mean it didnt take a rockect scientist to figuare it out, with all the complaints to the sales phone lines). But the management didnt know we were hurting people. Only John Common himself and maybe a select few of upper management. I'm sorry to anyone I hurt or that my sales team hurt. Most of all I'm sorry to my Dad, Mike

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I can clear up some of your questions

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 11, 2003

In response to your statements/questions, I think I can help. As an ex-employee, I among hundreds of others were screwed out of health benefits and are trying to get our medical bills paid as you are trying to get your refunds. We were never told by the company that they stopped paying for benefits and we were all getting treated as we were fully covered. (Some girls got pregnant thinking their maternity would be fully covered to find out 3 months later they were never covered at all) So, you can see we have all been scammed.

Employees did not know that the company was filing bankruptcy and shutting down completely until the customers were informed. We were constantly given lies/excuses to pass on to customers to stall for time on why refunds and claims weren't being paid. Most of the employees are just as disgusted as the customers and were not willing participants in the deception. I believed that we would get through the mess and be able to open back up with full supervision of the courts so that no more questionable tactics could be used and we could refund and pay all claims. But obviously that didn't happen and everyone got screwed.

AI (the bank that shut us down) is not at fault here or affiliated with WUSA except that they invested a huge amount of money into the company and were never paid back. Thats why they came in and closed the place down. (Wouldn't you??)They have been fighting tooth and nail to not let the company open back up.

On #7 of your statement you ask what Warranty & Financial Products is, thats just the name Warranty USA operated under, it isn't new or another start up company, it filed bankruptcy as well with the other 5 or so companies.

It would be a waste of time to try to get John Common...allot of his personal assets have been auctioned off as a result of his deceptive practices as the owner of this company, and anything else he has is probably hidden under different names. His name has been destroyed and you don't have to worry about him opening up anything else in his name, no attorney general in their right mind would allow it and there is a possibility that he could be prosecuted for his practices in the future.

Any reference to Singapore (which is actually India) where there is another call center is not in his name and is a waste of time trying to pursue it...I have no idea who the person is whose name it is under but it isn't Mr. Common's. So there is no way to prove a connection.

If you have a claim against the company, the only remedy is to file a complaint (claim) with the bankrupcy court and the attorney. The Offices of Irell & Manella in Newport Beach, CA have a hotline where you can leave your complaint and number and they will call you back to let you know what your rights are and what you can expect as a refund if anything.

I hope I have been helpful and also hope that everyone gets back all of the money that was taken from you by this company.
