Our story also mirrors what I have read here almost to the letter! The same 100 people in your area, only a select few, you qualify, (invaluable monthly access to personal training with Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen and a host of others) we need your success story and all the rest. I was contacted when I enquired and requested MLM Marketing assistance for a MLM venture my wife wanted to become involved in and at the end of the day we were indeed marketed. It started with "we have a real estate program for you, (not interested), aah could you hold please" we have a marketing program for you with the internet which in just what you need with a website and everything! (Not telling us that we were the new design team, locked into prospers server and services. We were assigned a Mentor (a nice fellow Mike Ing) who spent most of our first conversation telling us about his accomplishments and in the second, he ended telling us he didn't give a rats a** about any stupid success story, "do you think I will sleep better at night knowing or having a success story" I at this point made the call to Damon Willis to indeed request a refund (We did exactly what we were told to do) as this program was not for us. This is where the deception in my opinion really starts. "Look Fred I am going to get you a new mentor, I am going to personally see that you get the best we have, and I will get you Jay Abrams who personally mentored Robert Allen you know (you can get a hold of me anytime)" You can only get in touch by email if you are lucky!

My wife managed to convince me that personal mentoring by Jay Abrams might be worth a shot, so I agreed to give it a go with the understanding that we would rescind should this again, not be for us. "No problem Fred, just give us another shot, you are in success and we need your success story, don't be negative, that does nobody any good" Well this should surprise you all! My new mentor was not Jay Abrams, it was Damon's brother Triton Willis (who in my opinion is a very nice and knowledgeable person) but is not Jay Abrams as promised. I had 2 sessions with him 6 days apart, at which time I told him "my current business needs tending to and I will need to work something out with his brother". (Who screens his calls?) I did express my issues with him about not needing the website services and was informed that we would deal with that later. I want to stress that Triton seems to be genuine and in no way tried to deceive me! He just had nothing to do with that (website issue) and not to worry. Again this program is not what we requested and was just not for us.

I received a letter yesterday that stated that "my coach has been trying to contact me by telephone and email" When I called she asked me if I was still living in Maryland? I have never even been to Maryland; I have not changed phones (3), email or my physical address. "Oh I will fix that right now" as I asked her what the stasis of my refund was? "Oh you will have to contact student care on that issue (Devin Willis) as I am the receptionist only". Devin, I thought it was Damon just how many people are we talking about here (name change?)

My issue with this company just boils down to just one issue! 3 days from the time you receive the Company Training Materials (not their own) you have the right to rescind and will receive your money back 100%. I did just that in a conversation taped with Damon Willis, was promised personal mentoring with Jay Abrams and put off to exceed their time limit's. I have been informed that this practice is not only deceptive but not legal. Why would a business not refund a persons money if they found the service to not meet their needs. Why are so many people having problems with PMG, Prosper Inc? Why can you be lied to with no recrimination or accountability?

My wife has called and left messages, received no response. I have written letters requesting a refund, with no response. I am unsure of who or how anybody outside of Prosper has gotten my phone number, but I was contacted to join a class suit against the company. Is anyone aware of this action? Or is it the Company feeling me out? At this point I just want a fair refund as promised with no hard feelings or lawsuits. I have finally got an actual response from the company. The latest and only answer I can get when asking about the refund was from a Devin Wills telling me to get with the program that I want a refund from, a program that I can't use (website designing) or need.

I have just received a call back from the Company and have been told I would be given proper, fair treatment (with documentation) as to the refund I have been requesting. (this had nothing to do with or because of my original post)

The Gentleman Devin Willis did seem genuine and it seems that I may have to retract my entire comments about unfair treatment from the company.

Will keep advised as I don't want to be unfair to any company (that is fair) as I would not like anybody to be unfair to mine!
