I am a previous agent with Mega Life and Health..yes I was too brainwashed on them telling me that don't pay attention to the Rip Off Report. they are just agents that are mad and can't compete with the price and want to shut down Mega.
Anyway thats not the case here. I am the owner of a very successful marketing business, and I am not in the insurance industry. I personally still receive calls from previous clients that they do not get their claims paid. a lot who are friends and family of mine or have become acquaintances. It is disturbing to see this scam and knowing that I represented such a farse. it is the worst thing that I have ever done.
On the agent note, they get you in and make you sign all these papers. oh yeah, they made it seem like you really made it by getting the job. created ALL this excitement, and now we throw you in a room with paperwork to fend for yourself. Those papers you sign are your ticket to Bankruptcy.
If you go out and win the quickstart program and buy into all that they teach as I did, you can't leave UGA/MEGA/NASE whatever they are to go even work at Home Depot. because if you do you will be hit with a bill for advances while your account is still earning!
My bill was almost $6,000 and they told me to call Dan Carter the CFO at Mega..by the way after the message that I left, which was professional by the way, I never received a call back, just from the CREDITWATCH collection department that is threatening to take legal action.
So, not only did I spend money on leads, postcards, gas, and millions of other things. I have seen Senior Agents come and go. switch get burned, actual insured people with Mega get stuck with large bills. I have seen it all. This company should not be doing business any longer. they are a farse, and I hope they make it on more television shows talking about the scam.
Blackstone, it's unfortunate that you were blind too. they can even fool large investment companies. It is truly well orchestrated and they make the little guy that is out there busting his/her a*s to make it happen, and then don;t pay claims and come after advances.
I am ashamed to have worked for this company, and I will tell people this for the rest of my life.
