Frank Coonis Investions, Inc. Interference with a Legal Action. Not Providing Service for Which They Have Been Paid Hermosa Beach California

I've utilized the services of Frank Coonis Investigations in the past in connection with a previous court case I filed. At the time, I thought the reason that they were unable to serve my defendant was just due to his ability to evade service, however they managed to provide me with a fairly accurate description of the individual. In retrospect, now I'm not sure. One of the interesting things about this is that one of the defendant in this case is one of the individuals mentioned at the end of this report Steven T. Moffenbier who conducts business within the state of California as a private investigator, but is unlicensed by the state.

After the case was over and while discussing the case with Matt [unknown last name] who is one of the people who works for Frank Coonis under his PI license, he stated to me that if I had told him what I was trying to accomplish via subpoena, that he could have written my subpoenas for me in the proper technical manner which would have netted the results I needed. What he was referring to was the proper why to subpoena computer server logs and the related data which helps to connect electronic data with the real life person who sent and received the communications.

I any case, I contacted Matt in July 2006 when I again needed information of this nature. He stated he remembered our conversation and said that he could provide me with the proper subpoena for a price of $150.00 per subpoena. I provided him payment in the form of two separate checks - one for $300.oo for two subpoenas relating to email server logs and Instant Messaging account information from MSN/Hotmail, and a second check for $150.00 for computer server information on the identities of people posting to a message board.

Matt not only didn't provide me with the subpoenas, the information I was seeking has been lost because it was not obtained in a timely manner.

Matt claims he has emailed me the information, FAXed it to me and would send it to me via overnight mail, yet I have never received the information via any of these conveyances. I sent my brother to the office located in Hermosa Beach to pick it up for me and Matt has evaded him as well, although he has made many promises to my brother to meet with him to hand deliver the information. Strangely, after my brother left Matt his cell phone number and contact information, he began receiving a lot of strange calls.

Matt is approximately the 6th (7th if you count the failed service) California private investigator with whom I've had dealings who has lied to me and taken my money and not provided the requested services. Five of the other Private Investigators are currently under investigation by the state licensing bureau for violations of California statutes as well as violations of state and federal law prohibiting real life and internet stalking.
