AZ Best One Hour Cleaners ripoff dishonest customer service Peoria Arizona

I purchased two new pairs of trousers, one was black the other was navy blue, in what I thought was my size. When I got home and tried them on, they were both much longer than I usually wear. Because I liked the style, I decided to take them to the local drycleaners, and have them altered. I didn't have a tape measure, but estimated that they were about 1.5" too long.

After a week, I came back to the drycleaners, picked up the two pairs of pants and went home. After unwrapping them I noticed something very odd. The blue pair were not finished properly, one leg was longer than the other, and their was still markings that looked like they came from the person altering them.

The black pair didn't seem to be altered at all. They were still way too long. I looked a little closer and confirmed they were not even touched. I had just paid $20 for two unwearable pairs of pants. Naturally I took them back to the drycleaner, and we checked them out with a measuring tape. The black pair were 32" and the blue pair were now 28.5". One was still too long, and the other was now too short. I asked the drycleaner to resubmit the black pair and get them fixed, and have the company reimburse me for the blue pair.

After a week of hearing nothing, I went over to the drycleaner and received my black pair. Everything is fine with them. The blue pair is still sitting their because the manager of AZ Best One Hour Cleaners (the company the drycleaner sends their alterations to) disputes that there is a problem.

I finally spoke to Nadir Soofi (623 878 1424) at AZ Best One Hour Cleaners about the issue. He claims that I cannot get my money back because the blue pair are now the right size (it says 30" on the label, even though we measured the black pair at 32", and both of them are identical). The problem is I can't prove the blue pair were 30" to begin with, because we didn't measure them initially, and I can't wear a pair of 28.5" trousers, as they are too short.

At the same time, the trousers were identical to begin with, save the color, and had I only submitted one pair, I could have easily got screwed. Not only that Nadir did not apologize for sending back the black pair the first time that weren't even worked on.

I spoke to Nadir Soofi at AZ Best One Hour Cleaners, his attitude was they were right, and tough luck for me. Additionally, he adamantly stated that the other pair were beige, until I pointed out that they were blue. He then had to attend to a "customer" and hung up on me. The trousers cost $40 new, were never worn, and are now useless. In addition I paid $10 for them to treat me like dirt.

Please don't patron AZ Best One Hour Cleaners, don't hire Nadir Soofi to work at your business, ask your local drycleaner to not use them, and before you agree to any alterations have them measured first.
