I am a victim of this USANA pyramid scheme. I found out that this was a scheme because of the research I've done on wikipedia, other sites, and from my scoutmaster, excluding USANA.com because I now don't trust this marketing chain company. I had been in the USANA business for a whole two-and-a-half weeks.
I first got in this awful pyramid scheme through my old high school friend. He had contacted me through AIM by instant messaging me. He told me if I wanted a part time job working at the USANA business. He then told me that I will be making tons of money. Some of methods range from recruiting new people whom I already know and selling USANA Health and Beauty products to neighbors and people I know like teachers.
The times when I was in this business, my family kept telling me not to go, but I kept telling them the information that I was given on the first day that I was brainwashed with. Everyday, I would be told from my friend that it is better to go every single day we have meetings at the Hayes Mansion located in San Jose, California to get "good feedbacks" and information about this company. I don't want to say what really happened there because i don't want to encourage anyone to sign up. There were several claimed "millionaires" that were telling their "life-story" of how they became millionaires. One of their names is Mr. Tai Tran and his other Tran brothers.
Luckily, while I attended an Eagle Scout meeting with my Scoutmaster, he asked me why I could'nt attend some of the boy scout events. And I responded how I was recruited into this "wonderful" USANA business. He then went home to research about this company because he wanted to know some more information. My mom also happened to be there also, so she told my scoutmaster how she felt. On the nest Eagle Scout meeting, he explained about the the research that he had done that day and gave them to me in a packet.
Soon, I called Mr. Tai Tran, with his phone number he gave me, to "tell" him that I was too busy to work at USANA. He then told me that he will drop me from their application without any further requirements. Then, right after, I mentioned something about how I really quit because I heard that it was a pyramid scheme. He then told me a phrase, "you'll be sorry..." I don't remember exactly, but I know he is very good with his words. I was on my cell phone for 20 straight minutes with him, but it did turn out how I wanted with his little encouragement for me to go back. ILuckily, I now am out of the USANA business for good.
The only thing I got out of is the $35 blue USANA book, with some applications inside, that I paid for, and a lot of notes I took during the meetings, which I ripped up after I heard that it was a pyramid scheme.
Now that I found this site, ripoffreport.com, I can post up my experiences while being in the USANA pyramid scheme marketing chain business.

Good products and hard work, not a scam

I'm sorry to hear you had a negative experience. However, 2,5 weeks is not really any experience in any kind of company. I cannot say anything about the trainings you've followed. That timeframe is also within the return policy when people have a change of mind.
I have been with USANA for over a year and I could not be more happy. I am grateful to the friend who introduced me as the products have been excellent and have changed my family's health status a lot. I know many people who are happy with being just a customer and loving the products. I also know very honest people who do well and make good income. But they have put in effort, no suprise their since your own business is always a lot of effort, and they love it to. I myself, and still busy with other commitments and being a flexible business I only spend a few hours a week. I therefor know that realistically on the business side of things my business will grow slowly, however I am happy to report that even my business is growing.
Also none of what has been mentioned in this claim, has actually been backed up, I also do not see any personal experience in the report to support this kind of claim, if you haven't actually done any business.
