We have fallen on bad times in the last 2 years, with my husband and myself being layed-off. We made the mistake of using our 20 acres of land inherited from my father in-law as collateral.

We have been harrassed and called so many names over the last 2 yrs. that we just wanted out from under GreenTree. We weren't left much choice but to sell off 18 of the 20 acres.

And now we still stand a chance of loosing everything because GreenTree has never been willing to work with us. And now Mr. Scott Robinson (collection agent)from Mo. refuses to release the payoff amount.

Our attorney (i.e. Magistrate Judge) and us have been fighting with him for the last 4 months. And he still will not send us the payoff.

Instead they filed a default & right to cure against us. They are the lowest individuals that I have ever encountered in all my life.

Mr. Scott Robinson even went as far as to harrass and accuse our 12 yr. old son of being a liar, to the point of leaving him in tears. Mr. Robinson should think twice before confronting us face to face.

Not sure what the outcome will be, but I will be sure to let you all know.

I really hope Steve or Scott?? reads this!

AUTHOR: George - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 16, 2006

Steve or Scott or whoever you claim to be. I know this post is old but I pray that you read it at some point in your life. The one lady who posted here was right about you and all others like you. No educated, sensible, and ethical person would ever post and tell a former client and their attorney to kiss his A$$. What a crock! And by the way....just because someone is NOT a paying customer as you so graciously let us know doesn't mean you can withhold account information from them (payment amount, payoff amount, etc.)

In fact , in my opinion that could constitute a breach of contract or at least unethical and mean mind games from a financial institution. No mainstream, decent bank would ever do that to a customer. One would think it would be in Greentree's best interest to let her know her payoff immediately. I'm in court with Greentree right now and believe me they have NO problem at all with letting me know what the payoff is.

People like yourself make me physically ill. Alisa was nothing to you but a number and a bonus and you probably never thought for ONE second that she is really a person. Would you treat your own mother like this? How about your wife or child? Your insane, ultra-conservative, dot eat dog attitude is precisely one of the reasons banks actually court people into financial ruin.

I would say 50% of people get into trouble that they could avoid, I'll give you that, but the other 50% (and this number is growing) get into trouble because that's just what people like you in the financial industry want. Why is the bankruptcy rate so high? Is it because all of us are stupid as you insinuated Alisa was? No it's because of Jerks like you! And by the way, what you read here is not slander. I think you'd better grab a law dictionary and read.

Slander is any FALSE statement made purposely and willfully that could adversely affect one's business or private life to the point of loss. Alisa did NOT slander you in any way whatsoever because her statements were in all likelihood not FALSE and you can't prove it if they were!

This hasn't hurt you a bit. And even if it was slander you did it to yourself by submitting that awful reply and letting us all know who you were...What's wrong?? Couldn't control your anger? Mad at Alisa because you lost your big bonus with Greentree? Here's a clue, you should have just done what anyone would have done and performed your duties as they would have been expected and you DIDN'T. Not surprising at all. The collection industry is full of people like you.

Honsest to God I don't know how people like you can sleep at night knowing the lives you continue to ruin when people just want some kind of mutual agreement that never happens. You are right about one thing though. It is not a civil right to ignore your bills. However it's also not a civil right, liability nor expectation to have to deal with people like you who continually ride the edge of the wave of illegality to collect. Again you just make me SICK!! And if you think what I'm saying to you is slander then grab yourself a lawyer and see if you can prove it! I guarantee you'll lose. The internet is FULL of blogs like this. No reputable site would allow your so called "slanderous" statements to be made available to the public.

Good day Scott, Steve, Mark, John, Mike, or whoever the **ll you say you are!

Bless You Alissa, Shame on Steve, or Scott or Whomever you are this week.

AUTHOR: R - (U.S.A.)

I have already listed a report here on Conseco. But reading your report, Alisa, has really touched a nerve. We have been through pretty much the same situations.

The real scary part is the "Scott", or "Steve" or whoever he calls himself probably still works for them. They seldom use their real name, and when a problem arises, they just change client lists, change their names, and continue to harrass different clients. LaWanda was so right about them and their scheming ways.

There has to be help out there. We just have to find the it. And Soon.

Just like all professional scam artists, when the heat is on, they simply change their tactics, their name, their locations, or what not, to avoid the penalties of the law. Who will they be next week? Next Month? Next Year? I guess we will only know when that new outrageously inflated statement comes in the mail.

I wish this site had been here 10 years ago, or that I had known that it existed. I am also going to surf through the other categories and listing. I can't wait to tell everyone I know about this site. Wow!!!

Alisa, Green Tree -Conseco are rip-off con-artist ..not a real mortagage company. They are a limited, liablity company

AUTHOR: LeWanda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 03, 2004

Alisa, my name is LeWanda and I am also a victim of Green Tree Servicing, LLC-Conseco. This is not a real mortagage company. They are a limited, liablity company that only have 12 branches across the United States. For all we know, they could be working out of a hotel room, house or a boat. Whoever said those things to you is proably was hire off the street and getting paid to do what he did. I doubt very seriuosly that this is a real, mortgage company because business, college-like people would not talk that way. Only a ignorance, uneducated would. Please call the State Commission in your area and tell them what is going on because the more people complaint about this so-called company, the more they can help you. They will proably send you a complaint form for you to fill out. Send in copies of your proof to support your story. Also, get that person located, so you can take out some charges on that person, if you can. Promise me that you will not get up because that is what they want you to do. Like others, I am so very sorry that we all got burn by this scam-artist of a company; however, in do time this company will be caught, and so is the person that said those things to you. God Bless you, and hang in there.

OMG I cannot believe this "ex" employee can talk this way!!!!!

AUTHOR: Jennifer - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 10, 2004

I personally have dealt with people just like Alisa stated you to be. I tried to find ways to work through our situation. We financed in May 2000 and my husband lost his job in June 2004. He went to work making 1/3 of what he was making and we were behind at that point. He was having to drive our personal vehicle to work which was 75 miles away (or more sometimes) when at his old job he had a company truck and gas was paid by the company. So we tried to fix the problem and no cooperation on the part of Green Point Which is now greentree. We catch up - fall behind - catch up - fall behind. Hubby finally files bankruptcy and notifies the lenders who he is keeping and who is going with the bk. Well GP (green tree whoever) stops sending us statements. Events from the time we purchased the house until now have caused us to fall behind. We have recieved two deferrments to the end of the note (which basically screws us because it increased the payoff). We were current in May - June I had surgery which the out of pocket expense for was almost 1000. In July my husband had a heart attack. I was told last month I need another surgery because I have tumors (not sure if they are cancerous) growing inside me. Well guess what? I am not getting the surgery because to do so would mean falling behind again. So please pray I don't have cancer. Because GreenTree/GreenPoint does not care. My health and my possible life or death does not matter to these people. And I hope that someone from the media sees this and contacts me because I would welcome the popportunity to rip this company wide open.

#7 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Alisa, you are lying

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 10, 2004

Hey Alisa, why don't you tell the truth? First of all my name is Steve, not Scott. Second of all,the reason your loan was defaulted was because at the end of August, you still hadn't made the July pymnt because you had "sold" the home, and your attorney said the sale was closing 9/10/04 and Greentree would be paid off. The end of September came and Greentree still hadn't been paid off, and your attorney called again and said that the loan would be paid off October 10, and by that time,I had had enough of you and your attorney. You wanted Greentree to provide you with a payoff, yet you didn't want to make any more payments. You wanted to be treated like a paying customer without actually being a paying customer. It doesn't work that way. As far as my calling your son a liar, how could I even talk to your son when I couldn't even talk to you because you wouldn't even answer the phone? You need to think twice about slandering people on websites, because it's not that hard for them to find out about it. The reason I'm no longer at Greentree is because I was offered a better paying position, and I took it. People like you think that being irresponsible, immature, and not paying your bills is a civil right. It is not. You and your attorney can kiss my a*s. And if you want some good advice, here it is. Stop buying things on credit, because you have no concept of how to handle it.

False hope

AUTHOR: Trish - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 07, 2004

I am glad that you "feel" there is a resolution to your problem and for your sake I truely hope that there is. I have been dealing with these people for 17 yrs now and I never. . never believe anything that the say unless they back it up in writing and then I take that to my attorney. They will lie and badger and harrass and anything else they can get away with to generate that cash flow that the bosses demand.

BEWARE and always. .always get it in writing. Demand and threaten right back with legal action. . . you have rights too. . . as limited as they are . . . we do have rights. I just wanted you to know that there are others out there who are dealing with these predatory lenders.

Keep looking . You will find the help you need.

I pray for all of us who are victims of Consecogtvics. . COnseco Gt Victims. There is hope and we will find a way. Good luck and God bless.

POSTED: Wednesday, October 06, 2004

First off I would like to thank everyone for their support.

And the best news is that Mr. Robinson is no longer an employ of GreenTree!!!!There is justice in the world.

I also managed to find someone human there. At least they are willing to work with us so far.

Don't get me wrong I would never advise anyone to have dealings with these blood suckers!

I am just happy to be able to get out of their talons.I wish everyone else the same luck. Again thank you all.
