Global One Lending, Robert Do, Quinn Dang, All State Homes Elite ripoff mortgage scam real estate loans pyramid multi-level marketing stealing crime bank WFG WMA WLG Humphrey Scam artist house money career employment police losing money watch out family friends Sacramento, Chico, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Diego California
This company is a scam. They are based on a pyramid marketing scheme. Watch out for scam artists: Robert Do and Quinn Dang. They brainwash people and encourage them to recruit their loved ones and basically take advantage of them. It's basically a cult. It is a home loan and real estate company based on the WMA model. World Marketing Alliance was found to have defrauded many consumers. Global One Lending is coming to a city near you! Watch out and avoid this scam at all costs! They initially try to take $800 for you to get a useless certificate to do home loans. They approve everybody and when you are done you do not know anything. Then they charge you for a loan coordinator on your loans which costs about $1000 per loan. Most new employees will need to use the loan coordinator because the company has no employees willing to help you. There are very few salaried employees. Robert Do tries to paint himself as a billionaire to brainwash people but he was never the real estate guru he claims to be. He used to sell insurance door to door. All I can say is this scam is making them a lot of money. They now have 1200 loan officers. 1200 x 800 (certificate) and $1000 (for loan coordinator) = $2,160,000 in Robert Do and Quinn Dang's pockets. That is assuming each loan officer does just one loan. I can't believe the California Dept. of Corporations is allowing this scam to continue. What a shame!

Robert Do's SCAM is now being run at: erscorporate.com. Be careful!
AUTHOR: Singh - ()

I used to work for Robert Do at Coldwell Banker and yes, he did own several Coldwell Banker offices and lost his franchise offices due to the illegal schemes he was running among many other infractions. This is all verifiable information if you contact NRT the parent corporation of Coldwell Banker in California. All of those offices have shut down several years ago and robert do has changed his name to 5 or 6 other names during that time. I worked at the Natomas Office location and the manager’s name was Waheed. So jostaff05 review is likely Robert Do responding to this or one of his managers responding to this trying to cover up the truth. I was promised I would get reimbursed for real estate training after I got my licensed and closed my first deal and they never paid me and continued collecting training fees from me. I agree with Jenny Trac that he is a nice and family person. But the truth is, John and Geoff also raised a lot of valid and truthful points (although, some are bit emotion based in my humble opinion. he does runs a multi level marketing scheme that promotes people to recruit for him rather than teaching them anything with substance. Most people eventually leave out of frustration and the lack of training and support and robert do will end up with a few listings or collecting training fees during the time theyre there. There were many unlicensed individuals conducting real estate activities during the time I was working there and the new youtube videos I watched online appears to be the same system under a new name called ERS. The website has also changed several times which reinforces John’s claim that companies and identities are frequently changed under Robert Do. They’re currently running the same scam under erscorporate.com. They used to be called elitenorcal.com which has been taken down after in operation for a few years. Coincidence? I think not.
If you’re looking to get into real estate, I wouldn’t join Robert Do or any of the dozens of faux companies he’s created. He does not have a good reputation here in the Sacramento area and engages in a lot of illegal activities. I worked for Lyon Real Estate in Sacramento and it’s a much better run company along with Keller Williams. I’ve sinced relocated to Texas and the Keller Williams office here is just as high quality as the one in Sacramento. If you’re looking to join a company or have a company sell your home, stick with a name that’s been around for a long time and don’t get scammed into ERS or whatever they call themselves next. The latest news is they’re running this scam in Milpitas, Westminster, and Brentwood.

I have called dozens of coldwell bankers and no one has even heard of robert do except all state homes where he used to broker. An extremely rude women hung up the phone on me when I tried to inquire but after several call backs said that Mr. Do taught her everything she knows and is an honorable man. Geoff sounds like a disgruntled loser who simply didn't have the knowledge or n****** to make it in the business. His review should be disregarded as false imo.

How can you blame someone for the circumstances of the market/ recession? I have worked with Robert Do for the past 2 years in ERS and he is a person of integrity and a hardworking family man. He has helped many of his agents to get into the real estate and mortgage business and help them to make great income. He has been in business for the last 20 years and has built a solid business and has over 300+ licensed agents who are proud to be working under his leadership. Please do not listen to these negative reviews because these are the agents that do not follow the system, learn the business, and work hard enough to grow their business.

It's apparent to someone with commonsense that this website is not official! Nor does it hold true value when it comes to ANYONE posting here. I came here just to see if there's anything I should know about this firm as I'm considering doing business as an client and agent. The comments and reports about this company I must admit are nothing but comedy and nonsense. It's highly evident to me NOW that 80% of the posts are from angry people who are either competitors and/or disgruntled people in general who do not like Robert Do.
I have done an exhaustive investigation wth the FTC, DOI, DRE, and the DOJ and there is nothing that proves this guy is an active criminal or running a illegal business. My attorney has just confirmed with me yesterday Friday July 5 @ 3:30 PM CST that doing business with Mr. Do is just fine.
I find the ERS business model to be a real threat to the competition and can see why people have been trying to stop ERS especially since they started their newest division. It's clear to the trained eye that other companies are already complaining like little girls.
Look people do REAL research with the actual government agencies and find out for yourself. As for me, yes it cost me a little over $1,150.00 but to me it was worth it, because as a new agent within their business model I will make it back in short order.
Dont believe everything you read on the INTERNET! Have we come to a point where actual REAL investigation work is no longer needed. I'm aware of Mr. Do's past and he was upfront about it with me and it's clear much of the issues stemmed from a past business co-owner and not that of Mr. Do.
If you read throough the wording of the complaints anyone with real sense can see right through it. FALSE FLAGS PEOPLE that's al they are. Carry on and good luck in your business.

John,
I don't have the time in the day to ramble on and on like you so I will make it short. The accusations you make are unfair and untrue and you should be sued for slander and libel. I know the people that you are talking about and they are great people with families that try hard to help others. What is wrong with trying to help someone be successful? What is wrong with helping someone own something? You are upset because it didn't work for you.
Are you blaming one person for the collapse of an entire economy? If you have any complaints then you should have gone directly to whomever you are complaining about and confront them. Instead you choose to hide and make false comments. I am sorry that you made the choices that you did. Move on. For those of you reading these crazy reports, please use common sense and don't believe everything you read and hear.

Robert Do is now running the same scam under Elite Norcal Corporation, also known as ERS
AUTHOR: John - ()
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 11, 2013
Avoid and beware of Robert Do and avoid his pyramid/multi-level marketing scams. His pryamid scheme is built upon a foundation of lies and all of his companies have collapsed or went out of business when people catch on. Eventually, he will rename the company and open under a new name. The same business model and sales pitch is just recycled. I joined Robert Do when he operated a multi level marketing scam called Global 1 Lending and trusted himn and his motivational speeches. I followed the company's business model of recruiting all of my friends and family and selling them bad loan products that led to the collapsse of the real estate and financial industry. I was earning 100k+ a year at my full-time job and his partner Quinn Dang pushed me to quit my job and be an owner with him to achieve the American Dream.
Looking back im so mad at how easily i was brained washed and how my brainwashing led me to recruit all my friends and family blindly which lead to their eventual financial ruin. He gets people excited that they can be an owner or a broker without having a license and that by following his system they can achieve wealth beyond their dreams. He encourages people to open offices and recruit for him without needing a license. Sounds like nonesense and illegal but it's actually happening you should watch one of the recruitment videos online or on youtube. how is it possible the dre hasn't shut him down? my complaint will be with the DRE next after posting this yelp review. Robert Do claims that he has over 1000 agents working for him and that he was the number 1 real estate office in Sacramento when he ran several COldwell Banker offices. I was so impressed with that number that I joined him since I cant go wrong with such an impressive resume right? Something was fishy when all the promises did not add up after I joined. When I researched and verified these claims i discovered that they were all lies!! He continues to spread these same lies today. THe DRE only shows he has 174 agents the date of this review. In fact, he never had 1000 ageents at Global One, BIshiop Lending, All State Homes, Coldwell Banker, or any of the 20+ fly by night companies he operated. He has been spreading lies and false claims for the last decade.
YOu can research www.ripoffreport.com or http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Global-One-Lending-Robert-Do-Quinn-Dang-All-State-Homes-Elite/Sacramento-Chico-Los-Angeles-San-Jose-San-Diego-California/Global-One-Lending-Robert-Do-Quinn-Dang-All-State-Homes-Elite-ripoff-mortgage-scam-real-122167 and see complaints going back as far as 2004. Robert Do and his "owners" encourage others to recruit, take their money for "loan officer academies" and " real estate school" and when people catch on to the scam and people try to sue him he shuts down the company and runs away with these people's money and livlihood. Verify the lawsuits he has against him at the Sacramento Court. He has over 20 DBAs on the DRE most of which are now cancelled! NOw, he started a new fraud called ERS. Part of his scam starts by buying a franchise of a successful real estate company to build an image or fascade that he and his company are reputable. He did this with Coldwell Banker and now it looks like he purchase a franchise from Elite Realty Services which he also calls ERS. When people start catching on that this is a scam, Robert Do would change the company's name and then start a new company name or buy a new franchise. As i write this review i want to apologize in advance to any coldwell banker or elite realty services agent reading this review. As with most franchises i understand that each office is individually owned and operated so my review is not reflected against any individual agent from Coldwell Banker or Elite Realty Services.
My complaint is specifically with Robert Do and his officers Rudolfo Arrivas (who license has been revoked by the DRE) and Ha Do. My complaint is also against his "owners" that he hides behind to spread his lies and fraud. Beware of any recruitment message coming from Garth Jensen or Dameon Russell. As long as these guys spread the same message and scam as Robert Do, they're liable for any damage they cause as far as im concerned. Those are the names I was able to find doing my online research spreading the same fraud that Robert DO has been promoting for the last decade. There are many more fake "owners" so beware. The fraud can be read on Craigslist in Milpitas, Fresno, Rocklin, Roseville, and the Sacramento area. They spread lies that they have over 25+ branch locations when the DRE only shows 12. I am shocked that the DRE has not shut down Robert Do and his companies with the large number of complaints and disciplinary action. Robert Do and his companies has had multiple discplinary actions, judgements, and even license revocations from his officers. You can see evidence of that by visiting: http://www2.dre.ca.gov/PublicASP/pplinfo.asp?License_id=01525946 Look at the branch locations affiliated under DRE license number 01525946 and do not join or do business with any of the branches affiliated with this license. Important! Do not: 1) recruit for this company 2) attend any of their "career fairs" or "recruitment nights" or "hotel conventions." 3) Pay any fees for "training" or "licensing." It's all a scam that's continued for far too long!!!!!!
Now Robert Do is going out and recruiting unlicensed individuals like the Global 1 time? Nothing has changed, he's still the same crock under a new name and it was these unlicensed individuals and poorly/non trained loan officers that created the worst housing crisis in US history. Look at how many Limited Liability Corporations he has created and terminated to avoid getting sued. Now he's attempting to do the same thing agian. I urge all those that has been hurt by Robert Do to post a review and speak the truth. If you have any doubt about the validity of my claim, call any Independently Owned Coldwell Banker office in the Sacramento Area and ask the owners/brokers for their thoughts of Robert Do yourself. I sold all my friends and family his bad loan products and now all of my friends and family are without a home because of him. I have lost my friends, family, and retirement savings because I was brainedwashed into following this cult, lies, and scam. Do not let this happen to you. You have been warned and what you do with these facts is up to you.

In all honesty...
AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, June 29, 2007
My name is Mike R. My mother and I, as well as two of my close personal friends are all former employees of Global One Lending, LLC. I joined the organization after my mother suggested it to me. At the time, she had just completed her first loan and was pleased with the results (Payment from the company and customer referral). After working with the company for a few months, I realized how incredibly difficult it is to become successful in the loan industry. While my mother closed loan after loan, my friends (my own recruits) and I struggled. At the time, we were all going to school and two of us had full time jobs as well. We really didn't have the time to pursue clients and could barely make it to weekly meetings. I was lucky enough to close one loan in the 4 months that I was with the company with my client being a co-worker from my other job. My friends and I all quit, not because there was anything wrong with the company, but because we didn't have the time necessary to dedicate ourselves to the industry. My mother is now a successful loan officer and real estate agent with another firm. She left GOL for personal reasons shortly after I did, but sometimes regrets it. Bottom line, these are the experiences of 4 former GOL employees who did not become successful with the company, but are all thankful that Robert and Quinn offered us training and the OPPORTUNITY to succeed in the real estate and mortgage industry.
My mother is happy where she is.
If I get back into the industry later on, I will probably be with global one.
One of my friends was most afraid of the commission only compensation plan, and is
now a loan officer with B of A making 70K a year
My other close friend and employee is now the manager of a Kragen Auto Parts store and is moving up to District Manager within the year but will not return to the mortgage industry.
All of us failed with or left GOL, and at the same time we are ALL grateful for the information, opportunity and support that we received. If there is anyone is not succeeding with this company, they only have themselves to blame. My friends and I know that we were not successful because we were not dedicated, and had we been, would have GOL to thank for mountains of money RIGHT NOW.

New Key is same MLM Scam James
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, February 27, 2007
James, hate to tell you, but New Key is also the same type of MLM scam. They have a similar recruit mentality, although I will tell you not quite as pervasive.
I've worked for the same legit mortgage brokerage for 8 years in Corona, CA. Some guy who I met at the gym suggested I go to one of their recruitment meetings in Riverside. I walk in there to see people with ABSOLUTELY no experience in the mortgage world.
This little chickie named Angie Ramirez was making a big deal about her paychecks, flashing around photocopies. I've been to a few job interviews in my life and NEVER has anyone flashed cash like this. She was making a big deal about OWNING her $1.2 Million dollar home in Canyon Lake, CA. and about her TWO Mercedes.
As I said, I've been in this business for a long time. I looked up the title on her home and she has 2 mortgages on her property of $760,000 and $338,000, her house is worth maybe $1.1 million. Do the math on that and you see a property that is mortgaged to 100%. Oh, and do you know the 1st mortgage is an Option ARM? How smart is that in this economy?
Her Mercedes, both leased.
I did a property search for her name in LA, Riverside, Orange, San Diego and San Bernardino counties and no other properties like she was bragging about.
80%-100% commission splits? So what? If you can't get the loans closed because their contract processors suck, that looks like 100% of nothing to me.
They try to sell you on the idea that if you are DRE licensed, then you could be the buyers RE agent and get that 2%-3% RE split AND provide a loan and make 1% on the front and 3%-4% in YSP. That my friend is absolutely a violation of DRE canons of ethics. Why? The buyers RE agent has a fiduciary duty to see that the buyer gets the very best mortgage financing that the buyer qualifies for. Do you think the best mortgage is one that is significantly more expensive? A high school kid could see a conflict of interest in that equation.
Training? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I asked some routine questions that a new loan officer in training would ask just to test them. They tried to BS me with answers because they clearly didn't know. Example: Explain how an Option ARM and negative really works. They push this type of loan to unsuspecting borrowers. (not what they would tell a borrower) Dude, this guy was clueless
A guy named Sean Verrete (something like this) was talking about how he was going to retire by the time he was 25. Ya right. Again, a little research showed the guy doesn't even own a home, and had been evicted from his last apartment on Magnolia in Riverside.
All a bunch of BS. Think about this FACT. They are actively recruiting people who have ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IN THE MORTGAGE BUSINESS! They are flashing around big checks as enticement to people desperate to make more money then they get paid selling phones at a kiosk at the mall.
One more thing. The mortgage business is shrinking very quickly right now. There have been about 25 non-prime wholesale lenders that have gone out of business since Oct. 2006. Guidelines are tightening up throughout our industry. There are less and less prople buying homes and refinancing because rates are higher. Back in 2002 though 2005 I was closing 12-15 loans per month easily. Now, it is about 6-8 per month.
In closing, if you are any good at this business get with a legit brokerage that actually HAS training, has experienced and knowledgable management, supplies real leads, helps you build a referral based business with realtors, gives you all the tools you need to be successful.
I absolutely hate it when companies like this recruit people to handle someone elses single largest financial obligation---their mortgage. Don't you see how this can be a very dangerous situation for the borrower?

I quit quickly, as soon as I found a company I could trust. One that treated me like someone more than just a recruit. NewKey Home Lending is also a network marketing company and they take care of us employees. They offer 80% commission splits from day 1. And you can get 100% commission split after just 10 loans. No upfront fee to the borrowers. Everyone starts the company on the same commission split! 80%! It would take years to get there at WLG. In fact, I don't think ANYONE at WLG can make 80% commission splits. If you are interested, go to (((ROR REDACTED LINK FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))) com for more information. Seriously, you should look at your options! I didn't until I poured too much money into WLG, don't make the same mistake I did. This new company is not all recruit, recruit, recruit. We want people to do loans and that is why we pay such high commission splits!

WLG Multi Level Marketing YES But Pyramid Scam NO
AUTHOR: Abitino - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 15, 2007
Is WLG a Scam? Are there people losing their money? Are there people that are not happy? Are there people making money? Can you make money with WLG? Is Hubert Humphrey getting rich off of WLG, GEL, GRM, FLA? How about his past companies WMA, WFG etc.?
All this can be answered if you know what Multi Level Marketing is ALL about.
Hi, my name is Abitino Lao. I am just like all of you looking for business opportunities every chance I get. I have been to so many presentations and meetings of many different companies out there. But, I have never cared for Multi Level Marketing companies (MLMs/Network Marketing).
I didn't like the idea of selling to my family, friends, and everybody else I knew. I didn't want to chase them away and always have this awkward feeling between us, and every time they see me, they would think, ?Tino is trying to sell to me again.?
Anyway, I don't want to give a long story that might bore you to death. You can read about it at my website www.MultiLevelMarketer.Net and www.SelfMadeBOSS.com.
So to make a long story short, I am very interested in business, because I have always wanted to own one. Another thing that I am very fascinated about is Real Estate. Now that is where WLG came into the picture. I saw the opportunity right away. I could be a BROKER without a license? Now that was exciting to me. So that is how I got in the door.
Then afterwards I discovered what I got myself into. See, most people that join the company have no clue what they are getting themselves into, just like me.
But unlike them I did something different I DID my RESEARCH. Don't get me wrong I did some research before joining the company, but it was more like finding out if GEL was even a real company. All I wanted was to do loans and get in the door.
This is what I discovered: When you join WLG you become a MARKETER, but not just any marketer, a Network/ Multi Level Marketer. You see, WLG is a MARKETING COMPANY. WLG markets the following products and services: GEL, the lending company, GRM and GRA, the real estate companies, and FLA the financial services company.
I want to explain one more thing.
MLM is not the same as the Pyramid Scam. Look at the pyramid. Whatever is on TOP NOW, will always be on TOP FOREVER. For example, your current boss will always be your boss and stay on top of you. The harder you work the higher he gets. Now, in multi level marketing if you work hard and you do well, you will one day be on top. It doesn't matter how low you are on the list right now. You can pass the person who recruited you and his recruiter as well and so on.
Like I said I hated MLM in the beginning, but Now I'm huge fan.
Most people fear network marketing companies, but there is no reason why. MLM companies offer many great products; one reason why they do not do retail in regular stores is because their products are only appreciated by the people that know the product.
For example, if you are a tea lover, you know when you taste great tea, whereas a person that doesn't have a clue about tea will not appreciate and enjoy it like you.
I know of a company that took their products out of Wal-mart to do MLM and have had much more success because people were being educated about their products and eventually learned to appreciate them. Let me also add that marketing for MLM products is a lot cheaper and include higher production.
So, you might ask: Well, all this is great for the company, but how does that benefit me? Am I being used by the company?
Well, let me tell you that in any business there is give and take. But, in the end, you end up in a win-win situation, then, that is all that really matters. You have great products or services and the opportunity to be in business for yourself; the company wins and you win- Brilliant!
So here is the BIG QUESTION. So why doesn't it work for so many people? (97% to exactly)
I think that should be the complaint here and that WLG is a scam. I got to admit that you do need to carefully do your research before joining a company because there are too many scams out there especially on the internet.
Oh, by the way, did you know that GEL is the 5th largest broker/lender in the nation, working with some of the top companies in the industry like CountryWide, IndyMac, Washington Mutual, Chevy Chase Bank, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to name just a few? Do you think they are scams too?
Now, for you that are seriously working hard and struggling, don't give up. Find some good resources on MLMs and truly understand the business. I do have some recommendation;. Visit my website and contact me, I will do my best to help you.
Please don't email me and ask how much I make, because that will just tell me that you really don't understand the business and are DEPENDENT ON HYPE.
Much success to you,

Worked For Global One... Quit two months ago

What is being said about Global One being a pyramid is true..
When i payed $600 to become a "certified" loan officer.. the aka test was a joke.. it is made so that you feel like your really becoming a loan officer without all the other legal work. This is the truth.. during my so called difficult exam.. there were people walking around helping others get the right answers so that even if you had no idea how to fill out a loan appication.. you would still be hired..
To me it all seemed a bit too fishy.. i worked for merrill lynch for four years before hand and i knew how the real professional business world works... global one is pretending to be professional. they hire people on the spot.. hoping to get at least one loan. Quinn Dang was very happy when i was hired.. he stated to me that he was so happy they hired me.. i seem like a very ..."go getter" person. right.. cause he wanted the money from my loans.
when the company found out i won't waste my time recruiting.. they were pissed..
The loan officers.. DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO LOANS!!!! PLEASE TRUST ME!!!
i quit and now work for a mortgage company and got my real esate licence so that i can become a real loan officer.. it payed off!!!
Now i really know how to do loans and i'm helping people in sacramento learn and understand how their mortgage works.. to me.. making all the money in the world is not what my job is.. it's to protect you from companies like Global One Lending..
Please stay away from the company...

global one lending is a company i trust

i really believe that people shouldnt just do their research on the company but more like research on how best to be successful in this industry by learning all you can about it. it seems that people who are the least successful in this business have all the worst to say. and people who own companies and are successful in this industry want to gossip and put other companies down just to market themselves.
this is what i believe in... i trust quinn dang and robert do. why? because they are a couple of intelligent young men who discover a way to succeed and shared their successes by helping other people. there is no other company like this who is more than willing to help you so long as you desire to HELP YOURSELF. this is not an industry where you take a course and then expect people to serve you success on a silver platter. noooo way!!! like others have said.. they open doors to opportunities in this industry and provide the tools and training neccessary for YOU to be responsible to learn what u need to and then apply it. no.. this is not a recruiting scam. there is no way you just get people to join and expect to make money. whatever money youve invested into it that you feel you might have wasted, believe me, i know much more people who spent thousands and thousands of dollars for their college degree, didnt use it or went anywhere with it, and still they are paying back their loans. i know for a fact i have spent less money for the education i got from them than from college, and now i have more earning potential because of them. i dont know any company who will pay you in bonuses or profit sharing for you to TRAIN AND HELP OTHER PEOPLE such as family or friends. this industry is not for everyone. and yes, its not recruiting. you do have to do the work to train others like your own employees. such as i have done with my own friends and family. and its not easy.. they have a lot of questions like anyone new but its your job to help them understand and learn it and train them. the ones who succeed are really the ones who want to learn and want to do it and arent lazy and quick to give up and degrade global one lending's reputation. i have no control over who quits or who decides to go to the ongoing educational training they provide to help themselves succeed. they are responsible for them, and im responsible for me and what i can do for me as well as for them if they come for help.
im from hawaii on a business trip right now staying in sacramento, IN QUINN DANG'S HOME, and training at headquarters. i can honestly say.. quinn and his wife are very kind-hearted, hardworking, honest people. they saw i had a passion for this business, invited me to stay with them, and learn how to process from their branches in sacramento and san jose. yes they are sending me to 2 different places so i can take up all i can learn. they were even going to send me to a donald trump seminar out of their pockets if only schedule permitted. donald trump as u know is a very creditable source in real estate and very costly to attend but thats what quinn was willing to do for me. ive had many conversations with this couple in their home to know what they wish for others from the heart. ive even spoken to robert do who invited me for dinner at his home. these are not a couple of CEO's who decide to scam people or feel theyre too good for anyone. these are men with real hearts who really care. they saw someone like me who just graduated from school, got interested in taking the course, helped me through their new branch in becoming a loan officer, their admin. help me obtain an actual license in mortgage and business, i disappeared for awhile because of my full time job, quinn brought me back to train as a loan processor, will give me a full time career in his honolulu branch, and now i will have more opportunity to expand in obtaining a real estate license and notary license while the branch is organizing their real estate department, and also im more valuable to the company and to my friends and family who will turn to me for help. and from what im learning, i will do all i can to give as much as i can back to help robert and quinn who has helped me, and to help others succeed. but of course none of this would have happened had i not express the desire to learn and to do more.
so folks if youre thinking about "joining" dont bother. we dont need people like you. we're looking for those with potential and desire to DO THE WORK. thats who gets the job. did i mention that they actually fire people who dont do anything at all and also those that do dishonest work? yes we get rid of people that hurt our integrity and reputation. think about it.

The All State Group and Robert Do's many "different" names in our local market do not have a good reputation. I understand that Coldwell Banker corporate has taken steps to remove Robert Do from the system. As a local Coldwell Banker owner, he is is an embarrassment to our franchise. I now Mr. Do has started selling off his ERA franchise I assume in response to Cendant's push to pull his franchises. When an offer comes across our desk from one of his agents I can safely say we treat it with additional procedures because most of the time the buyer won't qualify. Its funny if you were to call some honest title companies local and ask them what loan company is the worst to fund or has the most issues, they will tell you hands down it is Global One (or whatever name Robert has given his company this week). You can check Saccourt.com for the lawsuit numbers to research yourselves. Buyers don't realize that sometimes their offer didnt get accepted in a multiple offer situation only because the lender had no credibility. If any agent out there has a doubt you should just ask another Realtor what their opinion of Global One or Robert Do's organization is and you will know by the look on their face.
I have no ill will towards his company but know what is being said and know how untrained his agents are. Being a CB owner, I know what is being told by me from the corporate auditors and they tell us his organization is a mess to audit. Watch what happens to his company within the next 60-90 days and find out the truth for yourself.

sounds like a boiler room paying people as little as possible to get as much for the owner
AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, August 07, 2005
Hey guys:
My name is Tom and i am a licenced mortgage broker in Ohio. this scheme you are talking about is not a scam but stupid none the less. Charge u $1000 per loan? And just how do you get all these 'customers' ? Cold call? telemarket survey aka 'leads'
do u get to refi double wides? whats the deal here? broker 'certificate'? sounds like a boiler room paying people as little as possible to get as much for the owner. turnover of staff aint an issue i guess.
i will tell u my story.
on june 19th i walked into Gateway mortgage in Columbus Ohio and asked the manager for a job as a broker. Even though i had no experience at all. I did work in collections for 16 years and know how to sell.
He stuck me in my OWN office -walls door and all. Gave me 3000 mailers to send to homeowners - once a week. thats it.
Well - after getting 7 calls per 3000 batch and 2 loans funded per batch - i wound up with 6 loans closed for 11500 bucks in my first 30 days -no bullshit.
U learn as u go. I got my 'licence' but now have to take the test to keep it.
my company pays all expenses -and i get 50% of my commissions off the loans.
I come to work when i want -leave when i want -and have my cell phone on at all times to field new calls off the mailers. Why the hell would i ever do any other kind of work?????
s**t - i can even dream up EXTRA advertising and the company will pay 50% of that! all the more money for them. they spend money to make money and keep us happy. Most of the brokers have been there for 5 years or more.
my advise:
go find a good broker willing to take u on and do what he she tells u to. Make sure they dont use stupid 'surveys' as ur leads.Do not go work for a lender. u will learn way more from a broker as u will have to learn ALL THE LENDERS. If u just put in an honest effort and dont mind STARVING for 30 or even 60 days -you will have a lifetime career of GOOD MONEY.
Then -go into business for yourself and take ALL THE COMMISSION. it aint rocket science.

The truth about the "authentic" mortgage industry
AUTHOR: Jonathan - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, August 07, 2005
To the employee questioning if you should go forward with the group or not... I am a mortgage broker in New Hampshire and have been in the business now for a year. I started with Ameriquest (not a very ethical company) and left 6 months ago to pursue a more honest opportunity. I now work as a broker and I have to let you in on a few facts you should be aware of:
1.) There is no such thing as a "mortgage certificate" at least one that carries any weight whatsoever. It sounds like a fancy piece paper given to imply legitimacy. All you need to get started as a Loan Officer is a company willing to hire you and a basic understanding of RESPA, ECOA, and truth in lending regulations. All of these things can be learned in one of hundreds of loan officer textbooks available in the book store or on EBAY.
2.) All loans have fees associated with them listed as either "points" or "closing costs". Some have points on the front of loans meaning that the borrower pays them up front or rolls them into the loan. Some are called "yeild spread" or "back end points" and are a rebate paid to the L/o from the bank in exchange for offering a higher interest rate. As a broker I put between 2-4 points on every loan that I write. These points are ALWAYS disclosed to the borrower. Any business that your pay is tied incrementaly to the hiring, and production of numerous others is by definition a pyrimid structure. Good, bad, or indiferent it is what it is.
3.) Always be leary or high pressure sales techniques when considering a job; ask yourself "why does this person or company need to exert so much pressure to get employees?" The old adage of "if you smell a rat...there probably is one" is key here.
4.) If you want to get into the mortgage industry I recommend one of the following: Get a job with a national lender I.E. Ameriquest (tough to work for, and a bit sketchy at times but you will learn alot), Aegis Lending, Countrywide, or Wells Fargo(any of these will give you some experience as well as a base salary to provide a net while you learn.) Or you can try to self teach by reading books (mortgages for dummies is a good start for true newcomers) There is usually a nice section at the bookstore and I always recommend a textbook on being a loan officer.
In closing, Anyone who tells you that you need some special certificate, or that you won't be paid until you get others hired, or recruit your family and friends should be treated with much skepticism. Pick up a phone book and turn it to mortgages...call any of the brokers you see and ask questions becasue most of us are honest, decent people doing an above board business. We don't like scam artists or scumbags who give the rest of us a bad name. I hope this helps you guys.

Pyramid Schemes at Global One Lending
AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 10, 2005
For most multi-level programs, income is dependent primarily on downline recruiting. As a general guideline, if you must recruit to be successful, or if a program's emphasis is on building a downline, it is a de facto pyramid scheme, whether or not it has been declared illegal by authorities. You may just be setting yourself up for wasting much precious time and money, depending on factors that can be identified by answering certain questions. Today individuals go to prison for any type of corporate or pyramid scheme crime.

The company is fortunate to be large enough to put the profits back into the work force. So take off your blinders and admit that you failed at the mortgage business. Don't bring the others down because they pursued a dream, and THEIRS came true. Not because it is a scam, but because they worked hard. There are several people that have been doing mortgages for other companies for years and decided to join GOL because they saw a financial advantage of building their own business at GOL's expense. Kudos to them, and I am doing the same. I bet if your present employer told you to refer a friend and the company will give you commissions based on his performance you would jump at the chance. You and I all know that we have "helped" a friend or family memeber get a job somewhere at sometime. Why not get paid for it? Use your head!! This company is not a pyramid. A Loan officer can make money on their individual effort or they can decide to build a team and receive profit sharing from the company.
Global One Lending is a great opportunity for MOST people. Apparently you did not have any success within the industry do to YOUR efforts and LACK OF MOTIVATION. This is a business where it takes self motivation and a need to want to be successful. If you dont have the desire to make it in this line of business then of course you have already failed.
This business is founded on the individuals drive. You have no one to blame but yourself if you dont go out and work hard as I have, then you dont belong in this company.
Did you really believe that joining Global One Lending would make you instant cash.???Commonnnnn!!! You cant expect to be handed all your clients on a silver platter..if that were the case then I would be sitting down all day being lazy myself. Give me a break!!! Stop Whining because you failed..!!! Stop talking all this nonsense!
I am not Robert Do or Quinn Dang, but then yet why is it that I find myself upgrading my life style every month...I will tell you why!!
I have worked very hard to gain trust of all my clients and I am receiving alot of referrals. Please understand that there are plenty of people that are making plenty of money in our company. These individuals are the ones that dont CRY all day about the company instead they go out everyday and land opportunities.
Get over your failure and find some other opportunity that can make you successful, But remember even in other opportunities you will still have to work hard and have that self motivation.

That is funny stuff, Geoff! Absolutly AMAZING!!! You know, you should really do SOME research before BLASTING a company over the internet! Wow...let's see, obviously anybody reading this is a cautious consumer or else you probably won't be reading it. With that being said, how can we give "Geoff from Sacramento" any credibility when he does't have his facts straight? First of all, let me address the loan coordinator remark. NOT ALL LOAN OFFICERS USE THE LOAN COORDINATOR! If you have a good manager, they will walk you through your first loans. If you decide to use a loan coordinator, the cost is $750...not $1000 that Geoff is claiming. And that is because the loan coordinator will do EVERYTHING for you. Secondly, the cost of the INTENSE training is $650 not $800 that was stated by Geoff. And, IT IS FULLY REFUNDABLE! Lastly, it's very funny that Geoff says that Robert Do (the co-founder of Global One) is not a real estate "guru" but a former door to door insurance salesman. If Mr. Geoff would have researched a little, he would have found that Mr. Do is a real estate broker and owns several Coldwell Banker/ERA offices in the Sacramento area. Hey Geoff, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with our company...But please post with some sort of knowledge of the company before you post at all...

It is truly unfortunate for a report like this to arise on the Internet. I have been with Global One for about 4 months now and not only did I leave my full time job to pursue a career with this company full time, I have made back my initial investment of $650 many times back. By the way, the $650 is for the training that Global One puts you through and is FULLY refundable if you decide NOT to pursue it. I have to whole-heartedly AGREE with Jason Andrews. I am BLESSED that I have a great backbone and company support that I can go to if I need help. Again, I have been in the company for only 4 months and have already been promoted to Supervisor. It's obvious that these people who are SLAMMING our company either don't have the support or knowledge to be successful and are bad-mouthing Global One because they're angry. I wish the best to all. Hi, Loan Officer from Global One Lending, LLC since August 2004. WOW! This person Geoff is so mad that he does not leave his last name. Hiding I guess, from his dream or from the truth. Global One Lending, LLC works with Portfolio Lenders, Banks, and Commercial Lenders. We bring the Truth to Lending, in which most Lenders in Mortgage Companies never tell the client that they are charging a 1% to 5% fee up front we disclose that at the first initial meeting with our client that we charge 1%. We also teach them about the loan before they sign the final documents. The Company offers a 3 Day training course which includes How to Fill out a 1003, How to Read a Credit Report and Credit Counseling, and How to Digest and Read a Lender Rate Sheet. I guess they take $800 dollars from us but usually the first loan you close from your Credited Lender will land you back around $1000 dollars which means you took $200 dollars from Robert Do and Quinn Dang. Basic Economics or Math (for the simple minded). The Company also offers free Training Classes to Certified Loan Offers once you pass the Mortgage Test (It is Challenging) every Tuesday Night in Sacramento. Currently we are working with a very Highly Established National Title Company in Sacramento, who is giving our employees a 6 month Free Session on Farming, Budget, Time Management and more. FREE, meaning no out of pocket expenses. This session I am sure would cost estimated $2000. So far I have taken from Robert Do and Quinn Dang estimated $2200.00 not only in Money but knowledge. Robert Do the Millionaire not the Billionaire, please if you are going to publicly slam someone than get the facts straight. He has been in the Real Estate Business since Graduating from UC Davis and maybe he knocked on Door to Door to get a listing (He will sure give you a story about that) and insurance that the home would be sold. He also has approximately 4 or more Real Estate Offices in the Sacramento Region with the Number #1 Real Estate Company Nationwide. To the person that wrote this, if you were a former member of Global One Lending, LLC than I am sorry that your Manager did not help you with information or knowledge on how to help sell Lender Products. My team is very structured and have helped me learn about the loan industry for FREE. I truly enjoy this business because I do not need a Degree from a College or work in Bank to qualify for the Title Loan Officer. I was given the Opportunity without any former knowledge of the loan industry to know the evils and goods that are presented in the mortgage background. The Mortgage Gods have sent down Robert Do and Quinn Dang to preach the word of mortgage rebate. They teach and spread the word about home loan business. They even tell you the first day of Orientation that you will not make it in this business. Wow a Company telling you off the bat that you have already failed and you have not even started or signed Documents. Please if you do not know anything about the Loan Industry please visit the Library of Mortgage at www.globalonelending.info which if this Gentleman who is Slamming Global One Lending, LLC may have memorized or read a small bit would of understood that this business is for the simple man, blue collar worker, and middle America. Someone told me that I had the chance to purchase my first home creating my own loan. Yes, this meant that I can write my own Home Loan and I received a Check from the Mortgage Company from which I just Loaned from. Wow! I guess I will put it in simple terms for the gentleman who wrote this slam against my Company.
I can go to a Restaurant and request a Peanut and Butter Sandwich, and my only choice it to pick the choice of my bread which is only White or Wheat, and than pay the Restaurant Fees plus Tip the Waiter for approximately $3.50. I can go to the Supermarket and pick my peanut butter which could be creamy, nutty, or no salt. I can pick my own fruit jam which can be strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and I am sure whatever else is sold on the shelf. I can run over to the Bread area and pick my own bread which may range not from boring white and wheat but sourdough, 7 grain, 12 grain, and potatobread. I take my goods to the checker and spend approximately $3.50. But this time not only do I have one sandwich, but I can have approximately 6 sandwiches. I am an former College Student so I know I can get 24 Meals out that purchase. That is Hungernomics and if you were never a College Student, I guess you may never know what Hungernomics is. Robert Do and Quinn Dang teach you how to package and create your own Home Loan working with all Major banks and Lenders in the Industry. If they belong to a Cult than I am glad I joined. Last of all if you want to know what Opportunity in the Home Loan Business is please feel free to email me and I can help you jandgbl1@yahoo.com. You can call our Home Office to and talk to a real person if you want (916) 564-5626 and ask them about the company. I think I covered everything and if I did not than I left my email. Have a great day and Happy Holidays and to all the Best in 2005!
