CitiMortgage ripoff ,ruthless, deceptive business practices Frederick Maryland

I had a 30 year VA Mortgage with CitiMortgage. With just a little over a year and a half to pay off. They ended up being my last Mortgage Company I dealt with. Because of mergers and so-forth.

I got into financial problems early last year 2004. I am on SSI/Medi-Cal because I am disabled. I ended up with owing on this mortgage due to a very difficult divorce and I ended up having to pay it off. With the VA going back to my X husband on payoff of this mortgage. It was a payment of $314.22 a month with 8.50% APR. I know this doesn't sound much. But when you only get $810.00 a month income it becomes REAL HARD!!

To try to make this short: I called CitiMortgage and explained my problem with my finances. They said they could send me out a "Workable Solutions Package". They did. I filled it out totally bearing my soul. And sent it back FAX 2/24/2004 @00:21:51 with a Transmission Verification Report. They told me about a couple of weeks later they could NOT help me!!!!

I called them and said what kind of deal is THIS?? I haven't missed one payment. And up until I called them for help my status was very A +.. I asked them why they couldn't help me. Well their reasons were "NOT" even reasonable!! I still had another year + to pay. And they felt that due to my gross income it was not able to be done!! I said WHY can't you lower my payments by giving me a lower APR rate????.. Because with the housing boom in California the rates had fallen to 5 to 6 % APR. They said they just wanted me to re-finance my house I said that's STUPID!! I only owed $3,437.00 on this mortgage.

I felt they were NOT BEING REALISTIC with me at all!! I called up the VA people and explained my problem to a very nice lady that I spoke to at the VA. She had a "REAL PROBLEM" with CitiMortgage "NOT"!! wanting to help me???? She gave me a few numbers but it was another Dead End. I ended up borrowing monies from my family to pay off this Mortgage.. Which I have to pay Back!!! I didn't want to "HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY CitiMortgage ANYMORE"!!

I have since learned that CitiMortgage(AKA)CitiCorp Mortgage CitiGroup (AKA) CitiBank (AKA) CitiFinancial was "INVOLVED"!! in the "BIG ELECTRICITY PROBLEM IN CALIFORNIA WITH ENRON. Also CitiMortgage when you call them their calls go to INDIA. I don't feel this Company is interested in keeping their jobs here in the USA. Also They just laid off 1,600 people in Rancho Cucamonga CA. Call Center. so they can send more jobs to INDIA.

I feel this company CitiMorgage is a Devious, Unscrupulous Ruthless bunch of non-caring "LOSERS". Their Top President/CEO David Schneider of St. Louis MO. Got a Letter from me. I asked him to respectfully reply to me as I told him the things I have written here. To this date NO REPLY!!.:-(( .

Just learned the other day that when I called my County Tax Recorder Office In Riverside CA. That they CitiMortgage had NOT paid my last House Taxes due 12/10/2004. I said to these people at CitiMortgage are NOT NICE!! The County Recorder's Office said their was a $36.79 (10%) late charge on my taxes due for the 12/10/2004 equalling a total of $404.97 DUE NOW!!

I had told CitiMortgage to make sure that they PAY THESE PROPERTY TAXES!! With My Escrow Amount When I Paid Off This Mortgage.

I believe in My Heart!! This Company CitiMortgage is NO GOOD!! And Surely Didn't Care About Me "Their Customer"!! :-((
