Development Associates Ltd ripoff They tell lie after lie. Beverly Hills California

A year ago in March I was trying to acquire a loan and was told about this company. Contact was made and I was told I would be eligible for a large loan. Two gentleman, Lawrence C. Smith and Turell Carter came to my place of business with the contract.

My downpayment was $15,000 for the loan and to be refunded with in 60 days if no lender was found. E. Lance McCarthy called and said Encino Capital Funding Group, Inc. (19528 Ventura Blvd. Suite 256, Tarzana Ca) would fund me but I needed to send $7,500 for closing cost.

To this date I have not received a loan or my money back. Continous contact has been made with Lance McCarthy and all I get is lie after lie. I sent all my documents to the LA District Attorneys office and the packet was forwarded onto The Beverly Hills Plice Department. They requested I get the cancelled check copies, front and back which I did. They later told me they couldn't do anything. The LA District Attorneys' office was very interested. I did find out that the Beverly Hills Police did have another complaint about this company. I have turned this into the Better Business Bureau. The story is larger than I can write.
