1and1 ripoff Chesterbrook Pennsylvania

I cancelled my account after 1 month because I did not need the service anymore. I tried to follow the proper links to cancel. The links never worked. I called the company to let them know that I wanted to cancel the account and had followed the links as per their cancellation procedures. I also informed them that I waited for the confirmation link and did not get a comfirmation.

The customer service rep, Robert, asured me that my account was cancelled. 6 months later, I receive a notice from a collection company advising me that I owe for six months of service. This company is nothing but a rip-off. They are probably hurting for business and feel that I need to contribute to their bank account. I am not paying them one cent!
