The Living Scriptures Rep came to my door and did a presentation with us, we thanked him for his time but decided we couldnt afford to set up service so he gave a free video for our time. We received another dvd the next month and we retued them along with a package with free movies and again we returned them, We didnt sign any contract and now we have a charge off on our credit report.

They never disclosed that this is a contract or will be placed on a bureau. BUYER BEWARE** They are suppose to sell christian materials but they are by far acting in a cristain way, i am currently in dispute to remove this from my credit

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

After a sales presentation is completed, a sales representative will ask the customer which of the several plans presented would he like to purchase? After making the decision a contract would be completed detailing the product ordered.

The contract is a three page 8 1/2" X 11" form that discloses the specifics of the agreement, such as number and type of product ordered, price tax, shipping and handling fees, etc. It also discloses the amount of "bonus" product allowed which corresponds tothe amount of product ordereed.

The contract carries a standard three business day cancelation clause in which a customer has the opportunity to read and to cancel if so desired. The cancellation clause is explained by the salesman as well as being disclosed twice in 10 point bold type in the body of the contract. The contract requires the customer signature in two distinct and different locations acknowledging the cancellation period and proceedure to cancel. At the conclusion of the sales presentation the sales agent leaves the customer a copy of the contract. It is impossible not to knop a contract is beiong entered into.

Yes we are a company that sells Christian based material, yet like other companies we must pay taxes, overhead, salaries, royalty fees, etc.

We ask our customers to honor their commitment in order that we may stay in business.
