This is to let others know about the worst company I have ever dealt with,Washington Mutual,now owned by JPMorgan,Chase Bank. I had two credit cards offered to me by Washington Mutual,the apr for these cards were 7.99% and 12.99%,I was using these cards to try to repair my credit.I waited a long time before finally getting cards at this low apr.Everything was great,had cards for two years and I was never late and always paid way over the minimun amount due.Never had a problem with WaMu.

Chase bank took over,immeditaly my apr goes up to 16.99% and 21%, I e-mailed the company to ask why the apr have gone up so high on my cards,am sent the standard answer that due to the economy things have changed.I e-mail again and tell them to close the card which now has 21.99%apr.Chase does this immeditaly.Chase e-mail me back to let me know that the time period to op out and have no changes to apr has passed,the date was Feb.8,2009,even though I have paper work from Chase Bank stating that the last op -out date is Feb,20,2009.

Next Chase changes the due date of my other existing card.I e-mail them and ask to change the date back to what it was before.Chase does this ,then informs me that they have now closed my existing card like I called and asked them to do over the telephone on Feb 8,2009.
This causes me to indeed call Chase customer service,what a horrible experience that was.I was put on hold all three times that I asked to talk with a supervisor and purposely dis-connected by this company!The fourth call I was merely told that I had called on the telephone and asked to op out.I informed them that I had never called the company on the phone ever,needless to say I got no where.Both my cards ave now been closed,at the high apr,even though both cards were closed before the Feb.10,2009 with the last op out date being Feb.20,2009.I have never dealt with such bad custoner service and never dealt with a company that you have no recoure,no where to go.Chase stinks and now the cards that I was using to rebuild my credit,will now go against my credit.
