Ocwen - HSBC Mortgage This Can't be Happening in the USA...RIGHT?! Glenn Beck HELP !! West Palm Beach Florida

I've had Ocwen not knowing it was HSBC for 6 years now. I asked Ocwen once who the Mortgage Co was and they said "They, Ocwen is the mortgage company there is no one else". Lie #1

My mortgage is $3300/month and I've never had a problem in 5 years paying for it. I put 20% down when I bought it, (for all of you that say we bought over our heads)....NOT this time!!

I'm self employed for 11 years now and my husband works for a Railcar Company for about 5 years. We're stable hard workers that just wanted a quiet life, nothing to flashy we bought an older home with a little under 5 acres, that we have been working on updating, we just wanted a quiet life.

Then in 2008, I noticed that things were changing, when the economy started to die. I held on as long as I could, I finance my business myself and it was REALLY hard paying $20,000 of debt per month, so on October 2008 we filed for Chapter 13, with the hopes of paying most of our debt and most of all Saving our Home. I never thought in a million years I'd be HERE today. My Company deals with Major Hotels and Resorts and I kept it lean and very profitable, until 10/2008. We did all the right stuff.

The hotel orders were slowing way down, then my customers (high end hotels) laid management off, then they laid lower employees off, and now they are down to 3 day work weeks and managers having to take manditory vacations. Basically they are not buying a darn thing, due solely to the economic enviornment. No one is booking corporate meetings, occupency is low. Its absolutely out of my control. We are living on Peanut Butter and Jelly, my husband's paycheck pays the electric and water and phone and thats pushing it.

In November 2008, My 83 yr old, Mother got sick and went into the hospital, and I had to go up there, to be with her, I'm the only girl and the youngest in the family and very close to Mom. We agonized for 3.5 weeks in the hospital as she continually had strokes, one after another, loosing her sight, her speach, she was now paralyzed, and her she lost her ability to swallow. Mom's wishes were to not be kept alive by artificial means, no tubes. We sat and could do nothing but watch as we basically watched our Mom starve to death. On 12/9/08 Mom Passed, God Bless Her. And now my Brother and I are Co-Executors on a nightmare of an estate. Mom and Dad were antique/flea market dealers for the past 40 years or so and she had tons of "stuff" that we have to sell now in this rediculously BAD economic market. So I was driving back and forth up and down the coast, about $400 worth of gas one way, to go to the hospital and later to work on the Estate. My brother works everyday and I clearly didn't have any work to worry about. So I drove back and forth, Hiring an auctioneer, and preparing to sell the Estate, and it is hard that this soon after Mom dies, I'm selling her stuff. But I have no choice we have to get the house on the market, because since Mom doesn't "physically live in the house" anymore, we now have to pay HUGE School and Property Taxes this year if we don't sell the house quick. Mom had allowances due to her age but she isn't here any more. Even if the house is in her name they said she has to be Physically Living In the House to get the Discounts. Just another thing to make life impossible.

So now I'm FLAT BROKE.....and here comes Ocwen.....

In February, I was able to get a gift from my brother.... part of my portion of the estate so I could catch my Mortgage up, and in February when Ocwen tried to lift the "stay" on my Bankruptcy so they could Foreclose on my Home, I paid them $13,000. And bought a little time.

In March 2009 I couldn't pay Ocwen again, business was just stopped....PRES OBAMAl, NO ONE IS BUYING ANYTHING
I had to file for a Mortgage Modification in the beginning of March. I faxed taxes, bank stmts, credit counseling certificates, wage stmts, profit loss for the business was in the taxes, about 32 pages of documentation, then I followed up with a call and they said they DID NOT GET IT. so......I did it again, the Second week of March. I followed up and (India) said they got that one.

From this point on I called every week sometimes every 2 days, I kept notes of names and dates...I spoke to the bankruptcy dept...Milind, Agnen, Anaminia and spoke to a "manager" or who they said was the manager, when I wouldn't get off the phone, his name was Suchin. Every single one of these people told me NUMEROUS times that "OCWEN WILL NOT FORECLOSE SINCE I"M IN THE MODIFICATION PROCESS". A few times I was near tears I was so scared because I couldn't pay the mortgage, I asked them to HURRY UP, be totally honest with me and they repeated the same robotic message "OCWEN WILL NOT FORECLOSE SINCE I"M IN THE MODIFICATION PROCESS".

I informed them that their lawyer has already tried to get the "Stay" lifted once, but I was able to catch up the payments in Feb and he withdrew his petition in court. That was $13,000, the last bit of money I could get. So I was very exact when I told the Bankruptcy Dept at Ocwen that I was terrified and they needed to HURRY UP, and they again assured me that I'd be safe, and "please be patient we have many people filing right now". I continued to call every few days just to see if there was any change in my status. All they kept repeating was that I was "in process" please be patient. So I continued to call and document. On one call 6/10/2009, (pay attention to this date), Finally I was told that I was in "underwriting" per Suchin the Customer Service Manager. He said he went to check on it himself. I had no choice but to believe him. I was so thrilled to be progressing. Then I heard a message while calling into Ocwen it said push 1 for Important Updates regarding Mortgage Modification. It actually said "If you are in a Mortgage Modification you WILL NOT BE FORECLOSED on". "Please be Patient and You will Receive Notification of Your Status". I was so releived to hear it, now its official..... Oh I Got Notified Alright...... I just checked the message...IT"S BEEN CHANGED !!!!

Then on 6/11/09 last Thursday, I got my first correspondence from Ocwen "Home Retention Dept". They requested copies of our Driver Lic's and Utility Bill Copy. I was so excited I figured it was like any other Closing and we were getting close to finishing....not so fast.... I faxed and overnite mailed the information they requested. I overnighted hard copies on Friday for delivery on Monday and I faxed copies on Friday afternoon 6/12/09. They only gave me 5 days to respond and the letter was dated 6/4/2009...but wait...hmm back up a little bit.... I just rec'd the letter on 6/11/09 and its dated 6/4/09, so that makes it 3 days LATE before I even rec'd the letter. If I go by date rec'd I answered it in 1 business day, how much faster can I go ???

Well here comes Ocwen's Lawyer again..... today 6/17/09, in the mail I rec'v a Petition to Lift the Stay in my Bankruptcy so Ocwen can FORECLOSE dated 6/11/09. Do the people at Ocwen TALK to one another ???? Just wondering.... Seems like we have overlapping dates here. They were Petitioning thru their lawyer the same time they asked me for my final Modification Documents. So which one do you think will happen first.????

Clearly, Ocwen is trying to FORCE me into Chapter 7 so they don't have to Modify my Mortgage. or....they are Petitioning to FORECLOSE the same time they are Modifying. Not too confusing is it. Both are lethal.

Ocwen has given me 10 days to catch the mortgage up to satisfy the Petition or else they will Foreclose. But the letter is 8 days late already......because I just got it today 6/17 and its dated 6/11/09. So basically I have 2 days at most to come up with March -July's payments, roughly $18,000. Now if I had that, do you think I would have filed Chapter 13, or asked for a Modification?..... So....if I pay up again like I did last February, they will leave me alone again for awhile....oh but wait.....If I'm caught up I don't QUALIFY for Modification... So either way I'm screwed. If they can TERRIFY ME into paying up, I don't Qualify for Modification, AND....If I don't pay up, Ocwen takes my Home. And....If I file Chapter 7, Ocwen takes my Home. Not a whole lot of choices that work to HELP THE TAX PAYER here.

Hey guys I'm flat broke, so what do you think will happen....I'll get a summons to come to Bankruptcy Court and if my Lawyer is feeling ambitious he'll help me fight Ocwen, but probably not..he's so overloaded, so...chances are they will give me a couple days to pay up, or the Judge will make me go Chapter 7 and I'll loose the house anyway. Either way I loose. There is no good choice, except to GET TO WORK, which I would LOVE to do.......are you listening MR OBAMA ???? The BIG GUYS have GOT to start handing out all the money they collected !!!!! The little guy is dying down here. I was reduced to sending an Email broadcast to everyone I knew asking for a donation to save my house, they couldn't afford to help either. I've written to the News Networks, I've applied for Work, (we're at 10% unemployment here), but I tried anyway. I CAN'T borrow money because of Bankruptcy, I CAN NOT HELP MYSELF. I'm STUCK MR. OBAMA....CALL OCWEN and b***h...PLEASE !!!!

Oh and did I mention My Husband gets LAID OFF ON JULY 8th. We can't even afford Peanut Butter and Jelly after that, we will be living under a BRIDGE. I promise You I WILL NOT LEAVE THIS HOUSE ALIVE, they will have to drag me out of here. I"VE HAD ALL I CAN TAKE !!!!! Some one do the RIGHT THING and Help us....this is wrong on so many levels. Please pass this note around, I know I'm not the only one out there with this problem. ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!
