Intuitive Group scam, pyramid scheme, MLM, marketing scam, fraud McLean Virginia

Got a 2nd IG/Verizon rep to come thru our doors in as many days.  (Well actually, a pair showed up together yesterday, so technically, that three reps.)  Today's rep wanted to know who came by yesterday.  They hadn't given out business cards yesterday, so we didn't have an answer for him.  Today's rep seemed fresh out of business cards too.  Same for the rep who came by a few months earlier, and the one a few months before that, and the one ... well, you get the idea.

Three suggestions:
- Who doesn't look askance at any solicitor who can't leave behind any identifying information?  So how about giving these good people bus. cards to hand out?  (yes/no)
- Speaking of those hard-working reps trying to pay their bills, what do you think about letting them know how well picked-over their area is before they start walking all those miles? (yes/no)
- Wouldn't their success rates be higher if they honored the "No Soliciting" signs?  (yes/no)  In our case, these signs are posted both at the building's entrance and at our suite's entrance.  Ignoring them puts the reps face-to-face with less-receptive prospects, I should think...?

I appreciate all of the feedback as this will continue to help me grow my organization and also help me grow as a business owner.  I started The Intuitive Group, Inc. a little over three years ago, March 2008, and I have always displayed the highest levels of integrity and passion towards my business and everyone involved.  

I have worked extremely hard to build an organization with great values and with great people whom always do the right things even when no one is watching.  Throughout the three years we have been in business we have been able to attract and work with Fortune 100 clients who trust us as their face to face representation directly to their business customers.  

The Intuitive Group, Inc.  has an A rating with the Better Business Bureau with zero complaints since it's existence.  I can assure you that my company is not a "MLM" company nor a "pyramid scheme" as these types of businesses are illegal.  My company offers a full benefits package through BC&BS covering health, vision, and dental for all employees.  We do not accept every candidate who applies since this is a very selective process and yes, we do pay our employees.

The author of this post was right on one thing however;  The pay is commission based at the entry level only.  President Obama said in his acceptance speech that here in America we need more 100% commission based jobs so that Americans can prove their worth.

First of all thank you for the above comments and warnings. I actually read them at their "office" (which is just a hall and two rooms) where I interviewed half hour ago. They have two receptionists at the entrance who are supposedly the HR for the company.

I met with the "President" of this company and whatever is written above is all true. He just asked me two questions and said that he would like me be at the second round for an entire day. However, he was honest about the post being 100% commission (no base salary) and that he would not do reimbursement for the gas and food. His definition of sales/consulting greatly differs from mine as he has no negotiating power with the products he is selling from Verizon and Quill. More importantly, he does not have any connections or sales leads, so it would be a brute force door to door sales method with a lot of scope for pain and humiliation with the upside of $750/week (what he said which I'm sure was a highly optimistic figure) and is never guaranteed.

I know I'm not cut out for such work but wish great luck for anyone who wants to sign up and partake in this "opportunity". Drive safe!

I worked for this company for about two weeks total. I went on the National conference trip which was probably the worst weekend of my life. 2500 people hoping to become one of the 8 high rollers for Cydcor. And the conference was soooo cheesy I wanted to puke. My "leader" William Jackson, whos name I will throw out there because if any business that is reading these reports, watch out for the slimy character, he will try to milk anything out of you, scamming you into things that you don't need, only for his benefit. When I first started, my first day, we went into Freedom Bail Bonds over in Fairfax, VA. The owner was a nice guy/Ex Marine. They just switched over to another company from verizon, which we were selling, and Will insisted on getting them to change back to verizon even though they just switched a month before. Will would lie and tell him that "our services are the cheapest around, even though the main reason that they switched was because they weren't cheaper, then the ex marine got pissed and threw a stack of papers at our face and said and literally said "you can't do business if you are liars." I was about to get the hell out of there and go home. But Will insisted that stuff like that never happens. So I believed him, and the day only got worse. But I stuck it out for another week and a half with Will. We would make big sales and then never get paid because business owners would realize that Will would give them things that they had no business needing and cancell the whole order. One day Will and I made about 1,500 bucks. Never saw any of that money. Cancelled. There were a lot of brainwashed characters in the office. It was sad, really sad. So if you want to walk around knocking on doors all day and not getting paid on gas and not getting paid unless you make a sale. This isn't for you. If you are a normal person, get a real normal job unlike this one. You won't get anything out of this except turmoil and hardship.
