NEST Family Entertainment - The Living Scriptures, Inc. AWFUL ANIMATION, VERY DISHONESTLY PRICED Ogden Utah

My wife and I grew up with the Living Scriptures Videos now known as "Nest Entertainment." We thought it would be a good idea to get these for our children.

~ $30 dollars per DVD is a lot to ask, particularly when they are usually less than 30 minutes long a piece... but hey... paying for quality right?

WRONG.

The most recent DVD's produced by NEST were AWFUL. The last 5 physically made me us sick to our stomachs while viewing. The faces of the characters are distorted, as if looking into a funny mirror at a horror house. This wouldn't be so bad, except I don't want these types of images to be in the minds of our children when they think of Jesus on the Cross.

I'm not sure how they get off selling this kind of garbage. I felt like it was a lot to pay $30 dollars a whack for good quality... but for this? NEST is clearly about just making a buck now.

They have tried to hide their LDS roots to sell to a broader "Christian" market... unfortunately, they have also buried their LDS values.

Just wanted other buyers to be aware of WHAT they are buying. It is not the "quality" you may think it is.... and they won't let you get your money back either.... even if unopened (a couple were so bad that the faces on the cover of the DVD were also distorted). "That's the contract."

To their credit, they did allow us to exchange these horrid DVD's for some other DVD's.

They don't take into account that when the buyer signs a contract... they expect they are going to be receiving a certain quality... only to later be duped part way into the contract.

This is a class-action law-suit just waiting to happen.

Classic Bait and Switch... the Bait being the quality we thought we were getting when we signed the contract, the switch being the horrid quality they are putting out now.
