There is absolutely NOTHING dishonest about Jarad Barnes or JRP!  STOP pimping your children!  If your children have a natural talent, then they will be successful in the industry!  Children are not YOUR cash cow!!!  My god, if they express an interest, then invest in their training.  If they do not, let them explore their own interests! 

I know Jarad personally, and he, as well as the instructors actually DO genuinely care about nurturing the talent of all JRP students.  If you think that he's some "talent mogul" who's swindling budget-conscious (or not) parents out of their money, he certainly is not.  He's not rich or famous, and that is not his intention.  His and the staff's intention is to help create opportunities for people to realize their dream.  He's merely the connection, and the instructors are there to help pave the way. 

I was sent an email that I should check out this web site about Jarad Barnes and to be aware of some type of scam or rip off that was going on with the company.  My daughter is a client at John Robert Powers and I am content with the progress that she has made.  She is more confident, meeting new friends, and doing very well in the classes.  The thing that I am confused about, is the fact the Jarad does tell you about the classes and explains that they are a school before you even get the call back, so you actually know what you are getting into before you leave the audition. 

One of the reports state that they allow anyone in the school...I am offended by that!  Does that mean that whoever wrote that statement think that the kids there are not up to par?  Who are you to say that?  Maybe an angry parent who's child didn't get accepted? 

I keep close to the teachers and make sure that my child is getting lessons that will get her a call back when she attends her auditions; auditions that John Robert Powers provides a couple times a month for their clients.

Any where you go, even if its like "Walmart",  everyone is not always satisfied but that does not mean that Walmart is an awesome place to shop!

I agree, do your own research and make your own decisions!

I never do this, but both of my children act and went to JRP for coaching.

Last year, my son was called back, but we weren't in the position to afford the program. However, this year my daughter was called back and they had a scholarship program which allowed us to take advantage of the opportunity of JRP. I have spoken with Jared on many occassions and he has been very up front about the goals and set-up within JRP. In fact, we started getting these email alerts from 'JRP' at 5am and 2am saying that it was a scam. We found out that it was an ex-employee trying to damage the outlook of JRP and Jared. Little did the person know who was sending them is that we know about JRP - worldwide and keep constant contact with Jared an others to ensure that our children can get the best exposure with clients and casting agents. AND THEY DO DELIVER. Since my child has joined JRP she has been to 2 casting calls and there are 2 more scheduled within the upcoming weeks. As a parent, of course you want to be careful in every decision you make. But also, I advise anyone to educate yourself. Speak to students and parents that are actually going to classes and casting calls and getting booked. You will hear a totally different story. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can speak for myself. We are making an investment into the dreams and passions of our children now -so that they won't shoulda -woulda - coulda later. THAT'S THE BIG PICTURE - I invite you to come SEE THE TRUTH for yourself and delete the lies.
