You say all of the steps below must be followed for them to bill you (see below), but this is NOT true. They lied to you. i was driving in the car not even looking at the phone, and got three texts in a row... in the span of 30 seconds. The first said enter this password for weather alerts, and seconds later, it said "thank you for your registration". I never went to any website, I never have (and never would) enter my cell phone in some unknown website, nor go back to enter some password... they are randomly texting people, then adding charges to their bill. They need to be put in jail!

Someone has to access a website from a home computer (weather service, video game cheats, and moany other services), the web site will tell them in order to gain access into the site they need to provide a cell phone number that has text capability.... the comapny then sends you a text with an access code, you them have to go back to your computer and type in the code to access the website you are requesting service from....

I was charged 9.99 twice before I caught it. I called ATT and asked about the charges. I very nice and helpful man told me he couldn't tell what kind of company it was but that he could remove the charges and that he could stop the subscription. He suggested that I google the company to find out about them. I found this website with all these cases. Why hasn't something been done about this company!!!

As of 02/14/09 a represenative, from this company has called me back after me leaving a message to them threatening them civil action. I was told i would recieve a check in the mail within 3 to 4 weeks for the amount charged to my cell phone bill. I was also told i would be taken off the list and my cell number would be blocked from accessing their system(thus preventing me from being charged again). The customer servicxe rep also explained a little about the way it works to be charged... so I will try to relay the information to you all as well as I can...

Someone has to access a website from a home computer (weather service, video game cheats, and moany other services), the web site will tell them in order to gain access into the site they need to provide a cell phone number that has text capability.... the comapny then sends you a text with an access code, you them have to go back to your computer and type in the code to access the website you are requesting service from.... in order to be charged there are a few steps you have to complete, but once completed... you are billed and it is a recurring charge for the service you applied for, the only way to stop it is at the time you get the very first text, you must reply a "stop" text.. that is the only time you can do this... or you have to go to the site i provided in my 1st post (((Link Redacted))). I hope this helps some of you out there... If it does, pass the information along to help others....
