Has any other businesses out there experienced what I did with www.searchplus.com.au

At the end of the day  SearchPlus have a business model to make lots of money. It's disappointing but true.

I was approached by other PPC advertisers to sign up but I just signed with SearchPlus. I had looked at others previously but I already had my own 1300 number.

This was my experience with SearchPlus.

My budget was $2000 a month with SearchPlus and I assumed all was good.  About 5 months ago I started to notice my Cost per click in the reports I received from SearchPlus were getting higher (they said my quality score effected it which they didn't really explain any further).

I decided to end my campaign with them and do it myself with Adwords. Wow was I blown away I checked the Google Keyword Tool and checked my cost per click in Adwords and was shocked to discover my cost per click was almost halved.
Instead of paying $4.70 with SearchPlus I was now paying $2,30 doing it myself.

I was also paying a service charge with SearchPlus but obviously they were pocketing alot of my budget.

Doing it myself I now get better results and I reduced my adwords budget and still getting more clicks at a cheaper cost per click.

Just be very wary of these companies. If they say yep your budget goes into Google ask how much of it goes in... check your industry cost per click on Google Keyword Tool. I also have heard from other business owners how expensive
Reach is.

I think it's time that this industry is regulated too many quick start up companies are ripping off businesses.

Also one more thing SearchPlus without me knowing added some keywords that I said were too broad at the start.... seems like they were trying to spend out my budget.

I did do a Google Search for SearchPlus wished I did it sooner as there was another business who put a complaint on the Rip off Report also saying their cost per click was doubled and had trouble trying to end their campaign.

Stay away from these companies.... get someone to help you direct with your adwords accounts, learn and do it yoursellf, web designer etc.

If I can do it myself so can you.... Google does provide plenty of on line help and there's lots of forums and blogs if you get stuck. Now my optimisation results are getting better and soon I can reduced my budget again in adwords further.

Be in control of your money...... if the reports not straight from adwords but through a diff program how do you know really what you're paying. Prices can be adjusted.
