I too have been ripped of by Joey and Andrea on May 29th, 2015. I received my dog thankfully but never got the papers I paid for or the micro chip. The male (Hax) and the female (Beladonna) is where I was told my pup came from but lord knows what litter she did. The gold membership with akc is supposed to be around $180 dollars apparently and no matter how many times I called him for a solid 1 year, Mr. Alaniz would not give me the papers or a refund for the registration or the micro chip which is costly as well at any vet.

The man even had the nerve to tell me the chip broke as I am inside the vet office searching with the vet tech for the chip in my dogs neck while on the phone with him. Words do not describe the anger these con artists have given me with the constant mockery of replys through phone calls and promises to receive my papers/ refund. Do not ever consider buying anyhting from these people. They have already taken their website down (germanshepherdsoftexas.com) and have most likely made another one.

My dog is well cared for in my hands and I would never give her back for the money he owes me but just to save anyone that is reading this and is considering buying a dog from them, you will be scammed to the fullest extent and may not ever receive a dog. I have filed a case number with akc and am currently pursuing them to get my papers just so that I can have them to breed my female pup I got from them the right way and the american way that all dog breeders should treat their customers here in our country.

UPDATE!

We won our court case against Joey and Andrea Alaniz in Jan 2014.  All reports will be updated, so please be on alert.  To date April 2014, despite losing, the Alaniz'  will not under any circumstances refund us our $1700.00 plus court costs.  Joey Alaniz tried to bribe us into having all of our posted negative reviews (over the past year) removed.  Joey said that we had to remove everything we posted and wanted us to sign an agreement to stop giving him negative reviews.  He also said that  unless we complied with his demands,  we "would never see a dime" of our money back. Please email me if you want the truth, although the truth is all over the internet.  We have copies of our judgment which will be posted for the public to view.  Also, the "certifications" and "inspections" they have listed on their website proves that there have been many complaints about their business.  Those were forced inspections, and fortunately for them, they were given time to clean up their mess.  The live inspection is also posted on the internet.  Do your research well, our story is published on countless sites. Lastly, they give themselves their own positive reviews, which is not surprising to us.  We will also be posting information about another person they have ripped off,  whom we just recently found out about.  That brings the total to 4 families in 1.5 years. They have only been in business since 2012, despite the lies on their website. They have had 3 kennel names thus far, "shepherds von saur" "german shepherds of Texas" and "Suar Haus Hunds" (all since 2012).  Their primary phone number has remained the same ending in "1388" (but they do have additional numbers).  Joey usually has a very confrontational comeback to our reviews, so let's see what it will be this time.

They are no longer using "Shepherds Von Saur" and have made any and all attempts to have the name removed from the internet (countless damaging reviews).  Today, they primarily use "German Shepherds of Texas" as the kennel name.  

Update: Our Court date was November 8th, 2013.  We met these frauds in person. The Alaniz' requested to have our case dismissed and were under the impression that all they would have to do is sign dismissal paperwork.  The Judge denied their request for a dismissal.  We are scheduled for trial January 21st, 2013.  The Alaniz' will do anything to extend the inevitable and just keep trying to buy more time in order to win a losing battle.

Trend of deceptive business practice by Hector Joel Alaniz Jr., Andrea M. Saur Alaniz,and Shepherds Von Saur
 
1.  Tammy Lopez paid the Alaniz' $750.00 for a German shepherd puppy and did not receive a puppy or a refund.  She sued the Alaniz' and was awarded a judgment for $780.00 in May 2013, which to date has not been paid.  (See: copy of judgment in favor of Tammy Lopez)
 
2.  We paid $1700.00 to the Alaniz' and did not receive puppies or a refund.  We filed the current suit on May 22, 2013.
 
3.  Paula Moore paid $1800.00 for one German shepherd and received her puppy from the Veterinary ER clinic where the Alaniz' abandoned her. The puppy was diagnosed with the Parvovirus. The costs of medical bills are approximately $6000.00 plus (GOOGLE public reports posted by Paula Moore).

1.  The Alaniz' have changed and updated their website multiple times.
 
2.  The Alaniz' have since changed their advertisements promoting themselves as "unregistered users" failing to disclose their identities and business name.  Such advertisements ambiguously suggest the defendants previous living address 314 Legend Breeze, San Antonio, TX 78258 as the place of business.  A different  phone number (210-542-7111) is also advertised as a point of contact. This in an attempt to evade the negative internet reviews connected to their true address: 25722 Willard Path, San Antonio TX. and business phone number: 210-689-1388. This is a form of deceptive business practice in order to mislead the public and potential consumers.(see: e-bay classified advertisement and public data records with defendants previous residential address).
 
3. We the buyers never signed a binding contract, because a contract never existed at the time of purchase. Defendants claim that their "website"  is  there supposed contract.  The only documents we received were a RECEIPT of purchase from the defendants, and transaction receipts from Pay Pal. Months later the defendants developed a contract.

4. Discovered additional public information from the Bexar county clerk's office regarding multiple lawsuits against the Alaniz' .  (See: public data documentation regarding the Alaniz' litigation history).
Their current address, 25722 Willard Path, San Antonio TX is currently in foreclosure status and was auctioned in November 2013.

Update on Joey and Andrea Alaniz, AKA Shepherds Von Saur, German Shepherds of Texas.

We were scheduled to be in court this month on August 21st, 2013 and Joey and Andrea were granted a  request for continuance. Just another stalling tactic on their part.  We have a harassment investigation in progress via the Arlington, TX police department.  The Alaniz' had the nerve to contact my husband's employer by phone and by mail in an attempt to cause us problems.  They are still trying to find out if and where I work.  This is when the Arlington PD became more involved and actually contacted them by phone.  They have been told  NOT to contact our employers nor our family regarding this matter, as it is a "civil" case.   These people will stop at nothing to rip people off.  They are out of control and still somehow selling puppies.  They have recently tried to bribe another person they ripped off (Paula, see her rip off report under animal abuse) by offering her a free puppy and offering to pay a portion of the $6000.00 dollars in medical bills for the Parvo puppy they sold her.  In exchange, Joey and Andrea requested (blackmail) that she write them a "good" review on the internet since their business is supposedly taking a hit due to bad reviews.  They are also writing their own 5 star reviews under the ID's "h", "Devin", "GSD" and "Joey."  Due to their bad reputation they have also listed themselves as "Melissa" and have posted a different phone number.  This "Melissa" is Andrea's sister from what we have been told. Once again, please stay away from these frauds.  They will take your money and

1. promise you "pick of the litter"  

2.  Give you a puppy that you did not want

3.  or give you a puppy with the Parvovirus.

We have to keep telling our kids that we can't get a puppy right now.  It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces and listen to their stories of missing "Bruno" (our 13 year old German Shepherd) who died almost two years.  They each sleep with pictures of Bruno on their nightstands, it's so sad.  I even sent Joey and Andrea pictures of them sleeping with the pictures of our loving Bruno.  Moreover, Joey will bring up our names (due to the bad reviews we've given) when he talks to potential buyers, and has the nerve to tell people that we "are crazy" and that he just couldn't please us because we were "difficult buyers." He keeps telling and posting stuff about "natural selection" and that "God" determines the "color" of animals.  Little did he know, he was talking to people within our family/friends who called him in an attempt to learn his M.O.  He keeps writing false rebuttals of how we "abandoned" our puppies when the truth is that the puppies we purchased died from the Parvovirus.  We purchased puppies from the same litter as Paula. He also states that we didn't want the puppies because of their "color."  He promised us black and tan, we paid him for black and tan, and we were to have the pick of the litter for making full payment up front.  He tried to give us dogs from a "co-breeder", then  changed his mind and wanted us to take two black puppies (with the Parvovirus), which sadly ended up dying .  This was our very first buying experience with a "breeder" and one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made.  I hope that people do their research, take something from our experience,...and don't end up like us; disgusted, disappointed, and ripped off.

Oh my God...are you kidding me? Joey and Andrea Alaniz have retaliated against me by attacking my profession as a nurse? Why is that? It's because just a few days ago I reported their fraudulent business "Shepherds Von Saur" for ripping me off. We paid them $1700.00 for puppies and guess what? No puppies...No refund!

My Legal Nurse business was an old part time job I started years ago that I don't even do anymore. They are grasping at straws now.

Once again, they have lied in an attempt to defame me by reporting in "text" that I had claimed to have been a doctor. Why in the world would I do such a thing? I have proudly been a RN for14 years and have zero reason to misrepresent myself as a physician. I'm not the fraudulent seller...just the sucker buyer.

And by saying "only" a nurse...just shows the disrespect you have for the people in this world that help YOU! That's the second time you have posted that comment. You couldn't handle one minute in my shoes as "only" a nurse...nor do either one of you have what it takes to even be associated with such an amazing and respectable career.

Their is no truth to their claims in this report of vengeance. FYI: They have also threatened to call mine and my husbands employers for reporting our horrific experience with them.

What's so pathetic is obviously how sneaky and immoral they are by pretending to have had a medical encounter with me as their nurse just to make a false rip off report against me. WOW! It's got to be a photo finish on which one of you is smarter than the other.

I will be posting joey alaniz' ORIGINAL website regarding the puppy guarantee which he has since changed. Defamation is when people falsify the truth in a written manner just as the Alaniz' have today. First of all, We would NEVER LIE and claim that I was a doctor...nor does Mr alaniz no anything about who is the backbone financially in this family.

Unlike them, we would never speak about our worth nor our possessions with a seller. On the other hand, Joey the pompeous "Salesman" that he is would brag about himself. Andrea Melissa Saur/alaniz has a record for "THEFT" and Hector Joey Alaniz Jr has a couple of "DWI's" and also runs a form of credit card business. We all know how trustwothy that seems.

We are doing our duty by informing anyone and everyone we know about the fraudulent business practice of "Sheperds Von Saur" who is also known as "German Shepherds of Texas." Joey can feel free to post as many text messages sent by myself...in fact they will only justify my claims. No curse words, no crazy threats, just an upset all american family who a so called Dog Breeder stole $1700.00 from. Find someone who would not be upset about that?

And this my friends is why dog breeders have a bad reputation. Oh and get this...they are now trying to sell German Shepherds for $1200.00 and $1500.00 or somewhere in that price range. FYI: joey sold the original puppies without our prior knowledge just to make more money. He sold the to us for 850.00 each then upped his price for the same 2 dogs for I believe to have been $975.00...sound greedy? Sound like fraud? Sound like a business you want to give your money to?

Joey and Andrea may as well waive the white flag...we've got every bit and then some to prove our claims. Keep bringing it on Alaniz' because this is Mrs. Fritz, the mom, the wife, the everyday person...NOT THE RN speaking.

Jim Fritz was never happy that he could not choose from what was available and his wife - originally a doctor as being a lie for she is only a nurse-being the financial backbone for him was upset in the news. I offered two dogs from a co - breeder to him in return because even if the dogs I offered him were not suitable he was never going to be happy with the end result. I chose not to offer a co- breeder dogs after his wife marysol started verbally being abusive and uncontrollable on every level- being a professional in the medical field mind you- .

I had a bad feeling that over came me in a decision to abide by our original contract and that was supplying the family with a pair of male dogs coming only from my kennel that I happily offered and guaranteed upon next availability. She would not have any word or flexibility to this point. She pursued in harassing me with verbal abuse and threats that were not fit in an act by a professional in the medical field.

Jim fritz and Marysol Fritz are unprofessional in understanding the laws of nature. I have many clients that are upheld with highest regards in choosing puppies and every client is given the same choosing rights based on deposit. I am sorry that nature did not play in their favor and emotions played a huge factor. The puppy guarantee is highly noted on our website and I recommend anytime a puppy is being purchased to read all terms and conditions. The family was offered to take two original puppies that were only males born in my litter but they were not good enough in their standards because of color. My standards of living at a higher level or what I drive has no bearing on a transaction of purchasing puppies.

The family is upset that we are deciding to stick to original contract but by law I am covering my guarantee and promise to deliver what was purchased. My goal is to only provide a family with suitable and protective animals when they are available at birth. We have since contacted them in resolving delivery of two beautiful puppies that were originally offered but you cannot please everyone and I have come to understand this in my dealings with irrational people that are never satisfied with any transaction that they have dealt with. We have several credible references, satisfied clients and intelligent buyers that understand a basic contract and simple transaction.
