I only wish I had visited this site before sending money to Global Inet. Just like many others have stated on this site I was promised great 'verified' leads by a sales rep at Global Inet. The rep. even told me they had a 'surplus' of leads in my area! Days went by with no leads, after calling the company several times and being told 'you will start receiving leads by tommorrow' I was beginning to get fed up. About two weeks after they cashed my check the company disapeared for about a week, no one answered the phones, all you got was voicemail that said 'this mailbox is full', thats when I began to realize I had been scammed!

I filed a complaint with the BBB in the companys hometown. After finally getting in touch with Global Inet about a week later I demanded a refund. The customer service rep told me I could not get a refund and I asked for a supervisor. After informing the supervisor of my BBB complaint his exact words were 'why would we give you a refund, you have already filed a BBB complaint'. You would think that because a company makes a promise to privide a product or service and fails to do so and the simple fact that you as the consumer are extremely unhappy would be motivation enough to give a refund, after all, they had given me NOTHING in return for my $979.

The supervisor finally told me that if I sent an email stating that I would retract my BBB complaint they would issue my refund. My original email detailing how unhappy I was and that I had been lied to about the companys products and service was not good enough, they responded and told me to 'only say that I would retract my complaint'. I sent back another email saying I would retract my complaint when I received my refund in a timely manner of no more than 30 days.

Global Inet responded that they granted my refund. About two weeks later I received an email that they had sent my check and even included the supposed mailed date and check number, this check never arrived and I believe never existed. When I called the company about two weeks later they said 'your refund is scheduled to be sent out next week'.

They even responded to the BBB that they had granted my refund and mailed my check. I quickly replied to the BBB that this was a lie and no check had been sent.

After numerous more calls and a threat of law suit I finally got a refund, this took almost 3 months! I did not retract my BBB complaint because they did not fulfill our agreement that they would issue my refund within 30 days.

Its companies like this one that make people apprehensive about doing business over the internet. These scam artist need to be shut down!
