WE CONTACTED THIS COMPANY AND PAID THEM THE SAID AMOUNT FOR DELIVERY OF OUR PROPERTY FROM DELAWARE TO ATLANTA. AS WE FILE THIS COMPLAINT, THE SAID COMPANY HAS TOLD US THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW WHEN WE WILL GET OUR PROPERTY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE A TRUCK NOR A DRIVER TO DRIVE TO ATLANTA. THEY GAVE US A QUOTE OF 928 DOLLARS BUT THEN WHEN THE MOVERS GOT THERE, (THE SALES PERSON WHO HAS BEEN PART OF THE SCAM IS MR. THOMAS FRANKLIN) THEY SAID THAT THERE WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL 400 DOLLARS FOR PACKING WHICH WAS NEVER TOLD TO US. WE CALLED THE SALES PERSON WHO SAID THAT IT WAS A REQUIREMENT AND WE AGREED TO PAY. OUR CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED 766.65 AND THE CONTRACT SAYS THAT THEY HAVE A DELIVERY OF 4-7 DAYS, BUT IT HAS BEEN OVER 10 DAYS, WE DO NOT HAVE ANY FURNITURE, CLOTHING, NOTHING!
THE FRUSTRATING THING IS THAT THE SUPERVISOR HERSELF (MS. HELEN REXROAD) HAS HONESTLY TOLD US THAT SHE HAS NO IDEA WHEN WE WILL GET OUR THINGS AND THAT WE SHOULD JUST CONTINUE TO WAIT. WE ARE THEREFORE SEEKING A REFUND OF OUR MONEY AND PROPERTY BECAUSE THIS COMPANY FALSELY LED US TO BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND WOULD PICK UP OUR THINGS ON TIME (THEY WERE LATE BY THE WAY), AND DELIVER ON TIME, BUT CLEARLY, THE ARE RUNNING SOMETHING THAT IS QUESTIONABLE. WE ARE REALLY TRYING TO USE ACCEPTABLE LANGUAGE HERE, BUT WE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR DISGUST, FRUSTRATION, AND ANGER AT THIS COMPANY THAT HAS VIOLATED US MORE THAN WE CAN SAY.
PLEASE HELP US, PLEASE, IT IS COMPLETELY UN-ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR. WE HAVE ALSO HAD TO CALL THEM, THEY NEVER, EVER CALLED US, THE SUPERVISOR TOLD US THAT SHE DID NOT BOTHER CALLING US BECAUSE THERE WAS FRANKLY NO NEWS ABOUT OUR PROPERTY OR A POSSIBLE DELIVERY DATE. THE SALES PERSON ALSO, SHOULD ACCURATELY GIVE OTHER UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS CORRECT QUOTES! WE HAD CANCELLED THE LEASE AND HAD TO BE OUT BY THE END OF THAT DAY, AND SO THERE WAS NO WAY WE COULD FIND ANOTHER COMPANY ON SHORT NOTICE. THEY KNEW THAT THEY HAD US, AND THEY THEN ADDED THE 400 DOLLARS WHICH WAS NEVER PART OF THE INITIAL QUOTE.
THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO FULLY REFUND OUR MONEY BACK, AND THEY NEED TO HAND OVER OUR PROPERTY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO IT. WE PAID THE PARTIAL PAYMENT THAT THEY REQUIRED, AND THE ONLY EXCUSE FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE IS THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE TRUCK, OR A DRIVER THAT IS AVAILABLE TO DELIVER OUR PROPERTY TO ATLANTA. WE ARE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR, HAVE BARELY ANYTHING TO WEAR, AND IT IS HORRIBLE WHAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE DONE TO US.

Keep calling them, they're unlicensed!

David,
I'm sorry this is happening to you. Unfortunately, your move was completely illegal because at the time your stuff was picked up, Giant did not have a license to move between states. They had it revoked on August 2, and only got it back yesterday, January 5. I'm guessing you were loaded and on your way to Florida well before that. For them to pick up your load and accept payment for doing such a job was a violation of federal regulations.
Don't give up, keep calling them and let them know that you know of their shenanigans.
Tell them now that they have their license back, they can get their butts on the road to deliver to you!
