Auto Connection - Auto Connection and Capital Lending Group Scam
These sons of b***s brought me to their store in manassas all the way from Baltimore, called Auto Connection.I thought i was talking to a bank lender, they used the fake name of Capital Lending (capitallendinggroup.org) when they called me but that was just a scam.
They make people believe they are really a bank and that your approved but in reality there is no bank. Its just a gimmick to get you in the door!! When you get there, they have barely 10 cars on the ground, salesmen are rude as can be and the whole *** capital lending group is stationed in the basement of this building that looks like a *** old house... very shady people and definitely not the kind of people to be buying a car from let alone having them have access to my credit information.
I took my money and ran and never looked back. Someone needs to lock these sons of b***tches up in jail... how could they allow for this kind of scam to go on!!!! by the way there is reference to them here also: http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/2/886962.html They had to shut down Kia in manassas because of all of the scams they did and now they have AutoConnection, a small lot with barely any cars...and using the Capital lending group alias as a front to get people in their hole in the wall.
RUN RUN RUN FROM THIS PLACE...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

How to Buy a New Car & Avoid Ripoffs
AUTHOR: UsedCarTips778 - (USA)

In times gone by, buying a used car was a very risky proposition. Because most historical paperwork, and records associated with each vehicle were paper-based, it was near on impossible to get an accurate history on any given vehicle. However, today, there's so much information available through both public records, and premium record-keeping services, that there are much less risk levels, as long as you do your homework. Every vehicle has a VIN or "vehicle identification number". This is all you need to begin the due diligence process, and ascertaining the history of the vehicle. Naturally, you are make sure the vehicle has not been in a serious accident, and if it has, the purchase price should be adjusted accordingly because of the risks that come with vehicles that have been bent out of shape, and then bent back into shape again.
The VIN number can be used to trace insurance claims, as well as legitimate ownership history, history of theft etc.
Just because you like the look of the car with a for sale sign, doesn't mean you should buy willy-nilly without proper research.
