Jacksonville, FloridaI went to the bank to cash the check initially,and was told by the bank that the check was fraudulent, (thought because the M was left off of my 1st name). The check looks legitament. I called 1-866-231-9029 (spoke to a supposed Edward Phillips), and was told that i needed to fax him/or send a cashiers check so he can send a reisued check with the correct information.
The letter stated i had won $100,000.00
My friend contacted him, he tried to get the FEI number (the guy got irate). He calmed him down, telling him he was just making sure everything was legitamit.
