birmingham, Alabamai bought a car through drive financial in oct-07 and i have been having problems every since. my payments were to be taken out of my account each month. that didn't happen.
they would send me a statement dated three days before the due date which didn't give me enough time to send the payment in. i would call and they would tell me i could pay it over the phone for a fee of ten dollars.
this happened for five months with them sending me the paper work for automated drafts and me signing and sending it back.
then in june-08 they took two payments out of my account causing checks to bounce.i called them and they refused to take responsibility for their error.they mailed me a letter stating my next payment would be due in aug.
then they took out another payment in july, this time when i called to get my money back they said they don't refund money, sent me another letter stating
my next payment will be due in sept.
i am single, on disability and don't have money to throw away. i see i'm not alone,but i wished i would have found out about drive financial before i got involved with them. this is a nightmare!!!
