I was having a hard time coming up with the monthly payments for my leased vehicle so I put an add on Craig's list to find someone to take it over & transfer the vehicle into their name. Jason Stevens contacted me offering his services J& N Autos. It is supposed to be a registered company which has been in business for 5 years. His company helps take the stress off, guarantees monthly payments on time & has a contract to sign that guarantees a hassle free solution to your financial problems. He has a web-site & Claims to be business partners with his brother Nick. After being reluctant to have them take it over & put someone in the car for me Jason Stevens then said as the owner wanted to take it over for himself Within 4 to 6 month. During the process of transferring the car over to Jason I questioned if the company was legit & was assured that it was. I couldn't find documentation on (((Redacted))) When Jason couldn't come up with documentation to prove his company was is legit I then took his wife's business information as back up & later on was assured that registration was taken care of. Till this day Jason can't back up or provide documentation proving that his business is registered. I feel they are going around taking advantage of people in financial situations and offering a service which only benefits them.

I was informed by Jason the way he makes his money is by collecting deposits from the people who are taking over vehicles. The sporty the vehicle the more money like Mercedes Benz, Lexus etc. 1st payment was given on time as car was handed over in March of 08. The second month I was having a hard time reaching him & got brushed off. Kept getting the machine which advertises his wife's business. Story after story. Was told the money was put in my account. The next day it didn't reflect. Angry Jason blames the bank buys some time. Phone calls not being returned. Excuses of sickness in his family which I started to think was a way to get someone to sympathies with him. On the third month i got parking tickets in the mail which came from the car that Jason had.

I kept insisting to see the vehicle nobody would return my calls or once I was assured it would happen time went by and it was never mentioned again by him.. After threats of taking the car back the car was brought to me i inspected it & was promised that everything was ok & would be taken care of. The next month we came to an agreement since the insurance couldn't be taken car of I wasn't to pay for it it was his responsibility as stated on the contract. When a payment was due. The day before the money was to come out of my account he supposedly transferred the money from his account into mine. The next day my account reflected the wrong amount & was over drafted. Jason assured me it was the banks mistake.

Again he has shown me no proof.. One & a half month of fighting to get payment lies i felt uncomfortable & requested my car back for a second time. Again I was having a hard time reaching them. With threats of contacting an official i was informed my car was in North Florida by his brother. I found a receipts from New York two days earlier and addresses on the navigation system which tell me the car was out of state. Jason had gone over the Mileage by 9572 I am only allowed 12,000 for the year. The car is only a year & 2month . What should have take a few hours of travel took days to get the car back. When the car was dropped off 4 month later Jason had his brother drop it off. I prepared papers to note down mileage & what was owed.

Reluctant to sign the documents Nick signed off documents prepared by me & took Off. The car was shaking badly in need of 350 worth of repairs. I had to replace two front tires. There were signs that the car has been towed. I have damage to the back bumper & front bumper. Several times i have requested documentation of regular repairs that have been done. Jason can't seem to back up anything or provide the information. I was promised at the beginning that i would be put on the car as the secondary & him as the primary. This took three month to confirm that it couldn't be done so i had to collect money on the insurance which was still in my name. before it was decided that the insurance couldn't be transferred i was told to remove my insurance & that everything was taken care of which it wasn't. I was given no proof or documentation.

My main goal was to get the car transferred but realized that i was being strung along and that the car was better off with me. I call just about every day to get payment for what is owed but no reply or someone on the other line claiming to have a bad connection. I am now trying to go through the legal system to get what is owed to me. When I was trying to get my car back I couldn't even report it stolen I was informed by the sheriffs department that it was a civil matter. Something doesn't seem right about the business he is running. I am hoping for an investigation to put an end to this & to prevent others from having to experience what I have gone through. It cold be worse for others especially in these times. I am hoping someone can put an end to it or put this out there so that people are aware. I did all of this in hopes to save my credit. But unfortunately you might end up putting yourself in a bad position like me. My car has lost value because of the condition it is in now.
